“In the last 15 years I have lived at my address only once have I had something go wrong once before and it was stolen. However this week, not one but two separate drivers have claimed not to be able to find my address. My camera showed that they didn't even get out of the van to look. I live in a flat above a shop, and there is only one ally way, and only 2 flats, both labelled with big metal numbers.
They say "Call us to give more information", but NONE of the phone menues actually put you through to a person. They say on their site "Call us" for so many things, but try it. Call them, and you won't get through to anyone or even get an option to leave a message.
On the second time, I got on my mobility scooter, and searched the town, and I managed to find the driver, and he just said "I don't know the area". Like you only have one job, to find an address, and give the person a parcel, but actually getting out of a van is too much effort.
From here on out, any time I buy anything online I will be messaging first and requesting any other service than parcel force. WOW. A company that thought "How do we stop getting complaints"? "Oh I know, lets just remove the ability to communicate with us".
Save yourself the bother. Use any other company.”
“Absolute worst service ever. Parcel sent to Deesside instead of Teesside by mistake. Delays, delays, delays. Paid for 48 hour service. A week later it still not here. No further tracking information on website so guessing my £3k bike has been stolen or lost. I think Pacelforce is the only courier company left in the world using human sorters instead of modern technology, hence the mistakes. AVOID!!!
Update. Its now been mis-delivered again, this time to Exeter which is 600 miles from the delivery address. Absolute joke this company. Now claiming £3k compensation.”
“This company is not even worth being a business, they are absolutely useless in the strongest terms.
Booked a collection with the option for the driver to bring the label - the driver turns up without the labels so could not allow them to collect the bags as previous parcels got lost without the labels on.
The system then prevents me print the labels myself because the depot will bring them, just a vicious cycle.
The customer service team do not a view of the page I'm seeing so cannot help because the reference I have is different to what they are expecting. Asked for my address and cannot still see the order in their system.
Missed the cargo flight the parcels were supposed to be on, still sitting here waiting for the driver to turn up, I bet he will turn up AGAIN without the labels.
Pathetic pathetic pathetic”
“I been giveing you my address at least 3 times 4 days later nothing arrived, not even a card through letter box, never had such a bad delivery service,Mr. Edward Williams.13,The Haven, Green Road, Southgate.N144AR.”
“The worst company I have ever dealt with. We got an engagement ring sent to us from family in India (which has been passed down for generations). It got to the Uk within 2 days, quick and easy. However, as soon as it got to the UK, we had to call 7 days later to be told it has gone ‘missing’. Firstly, we’re they ever going to let us know? Secondly, how can it go ‘missing’?! From other reviews, it seems parcels go missing far too often at parcel hub! They really need to be audited! Not only has this stopped me from getting engaged, but a ring which had the upmost sentimental value to me has been ‘lost’ with no remorse from parcel force. I am just being left with voicemails saying, ‘it’s lost. Please raise a claim against us’. That’s it! Not even a sorry!! Awful ridiculous service! Don’t bother! Honestly, it’s a joke of a company.”
“I would give ZERO stars if I could but obviously I can't.
An absolute rip off and completely consumer unfriendly.
The worst delivery company ever and I am staggered that companies are still using them to deliver their goods.”
“Parcelforce sub contract out deliveries to 'third parties'. Not a bad thing BUT, using these people for stringent time sensitive delivery deadlines...HAS NOT WORKED. Meaning, missed deliveries, wrong addresses, track and trace being completed by the driver as 'delivered' when in practice you recieve the item 24 hours later..
Dogs breakfast of a logistical company. Far too expensive for a shoddy service. Avoid at all costs. If you want peace of mind, use DPD all the way.
Proper company, great service, good drivers that are issued uniforms instead of tracksuits and second hand transit vans.
I would NEVER ever use Parcelforce EVER EVER again... I would rather walk the distance and deliver a package myself walking on my knees than use Parcelforce.
Thanks and good luck!”
“I ordered an item from a garden company (100s of miles from my home), and had no idea who they'd use as a courier. It turned out to be Parcel Force's express delivery service. Not an issue. However, I work ALL DAY like a lot of people who order stuff online. It would appear that PF expect you to wait in for your parcel to arrive rather than go to work. If that's not bad enough, the courier couldn't write properly so I couldn't read the card. To top it all, when I did finally figure out the details, I went online to change the delivery date to a Saturday: £12.00? Excuse me? The cheapest option was at a post office - and I still had to pay. Mr CEO, you have already been paid by the company I bought the item from. Stop being greedy and taking advantage of people who go to work! I don't consider you to be an ethical company, and in future I will check who the courier is before I buy. Needless to say, I will be informing the seller of my experience.”
“Waiting over a week for parcel force to deliver. Spoke to several staff and was promised Friday, then promised the Monday - nothing. Held at their Stoke depot - why promise a delivery and not actually do that? Even sat by front door two whole days waiting. Never use Parcel Force. No scores, minus 10.”
“If I could give them a negative score i would. I send an expensive Xmas present which never arrived. The parcel was insured for up to £500. It cost me £69.74 to end it. after months of deliberations, they have now told me, it is too late, you claim can no longer be accepted. They have not even re-imbursed me for the service I paid for... Nothing! Do not use Parcel force international, they are not reliable and they steal your money!”
“Absolute scum of the earth, they will totally ignore your delivery requests, not really attempt to deliver, and all their customer service options either waste your time then reroute to the internet OR just leave you on hold forever. Entire company should be burnt to the ground.”
“I have had the same experience as many other on this site firstly I was supposed to get next day delivery parcel didn't show then the following day I was given a time slot this was also missed because of this I would not get a delivery from Toolstation again who for some reason use them even though the reviews are so critical”
“Tracked my parcel - out for delivery I read. Hurrah I said to myself. I waited all morning it did not appear. After lunch checked again, tracking page stated Addressee requested different delivery address parcel returned to depot. A simple lie as no delivery had been attempted and I had not been in contact with parcel force. Later I spoke with customer service persons (after negotiating 'phone barriers) who were both polite and apologetic, but apologies do not retrieve my time lost and cannot redeem or excuse simple untruths. If you can, avoid parcel force, or as I have seen them justly referred to as 'parcel farce,' and save yourself time, stress, and probably money also. It is hard to imagine a worse service.”
“I waited for my parcel from Costco using parcel force for 3 days and they didn't deliver and in the end they dropped to the post office which is 10 miles away from me”
“They lost my parcel. Two days in a row, the tracking said that the driver had tried to deliver but couldn't and had left a card, but there's no way that he tried because I was working all day literally next to the front door, and no card was left. After the second day, the tracking stopped being up to date, and when I called Parcelforce they said that the package wasn't on the van when it returned to the depot, and the driver "couldn't remember what he did with the parcel". Given that the package was three bottles of gin, I have my suspicions about what he did with it.
Then when the retailer contacted Parcelforce to confirm it was lost, so they could then send me a replacement, Parcelforce told the retailer that the package was at the depot and would be out for delivery tomorrow, so I then had to call Parcelforce again, then call the retailer to ask them to check with Parcelforce again. Eventually this happened and I now have the replacement a week late, but I will do my best to avoid Parcelforce in the future. Useless.”
“WORSE COMPANY EVER
still waiting for my next day delivery for a birthday. Paid extra for next day delivery was told by a rude customer service idiot that the driver was in my area at 6.45pm its now 8.58pm we have no parcel.
Its safer to use DHL than this disgusting service. They are not worth 1*”
“WORST PARCEL DELIVERY SERVICE. They do not notify you when your parcel can no long be delivered. They leave you sitting at home waiting for the parcel that is supposedly “out for delivery” and just don’t turn up. Paying for next day delivery is a waste of money as they said themselves on the phone that they have too many parcels to deliver. Would be a good idea to hire more staff perhaps??!!! Disgusting service - BEWARE. Use Hermes, Royal Mail or anything other than Parcelforce. Absolutely terrible. Horrid service. They also hold your parcel hostage even when they cannot deliver it. Truly terrible. North west London area please don’t use this service. Beware. If you don’t want your parcel delivered then this is the delivery company for you.”
“Lied about being at our door to deliver Scottish baby box.no card through door so can’t track parcel or ask for redelivery.tried to email company but automated reply saying someone will be in touch within 3 days.possible £12 charge for delivery.Absolute joke!!!!!!!”
