“Ignoring delivery instructions of 4 out of 6 deliveries.
Routinely depositing deliveries at post offices over 25 miles away for collection.
Lying about location of parcels and when they're are sent.”
“I sent a large parcel ( horse saddle ) via parcel force tracked 24,due to it being broke didn't take extra cover,Bristol depot loaded on the van never attempted delivery long story short lost the Parcel now have court action against me, parcel force say I have to sought it out myself nothing they can do wouldn't send anything with them.”
“Tracked my parcel and waited in all day for delivery. The parcel was never delivered and no card was left. On checking the tracking online it stated that at 19:52 I had asked to rearrange the delivery date which was a complete lie. I rang to complain and ask where my parcel was, to my surprise it had been sent back from Manchester and was on its way to Carlisle. When I asked why, I was told it was probably human error. Nearly 24 hours later, my tracking states its still at the national hub and no one in customer services seems to know what to do other than send emails the the depot manager and promise to ring you back, then don't ring you back. Appalling service”
“When tracking a delivery, a message came up to say a delivery had been attempted and a card was left to tell me what to do next. I was home at the time. No delivery was attempted and no card was left. I made three phone calls. The first said I would receive a call back - no call back. The second left me on hold for ten minutes then the phone went dead. The third promised a delivery the next day - we will see.
This is not the first time this has happened with parcelforce.”
“My parcel took a month and a half to be delivered and I had to be constantly on the phone with ParcelForce and the depot, everyday for more than a week, in order to get my parcel safely to me. Parcel kept going to my home back and forth despite several requests to redeliver to my office. No card was left a single time.
The lack of communication when delivering parcels, the customers services and the inability to provide accurate information were appalling.
ParcelForce should assume responsibility for its poor service and work hard to improve its communication system with customers. In an era of easy communication, I find this service outdated and out of touch of the modern ways of living.”
“I arranged a date for my parcel to arrive. I checked the tracking and it said my Parcel has already been delivered a day early. Luckily it was with a naighbour but the delivery guy did not post a card stating where it was. Only found out due to the tracking.”
“Booked the next day service , payed for them to print label, parcelforce arrived , left labels in porch on top of the parcel, with a message saying this size parcel will be accepted at the post office so take it there, and left it ? Just rebooked for third time,,,fingers crossed there will be a courier with at least half a brain tomorrow in gloucester......”
“If there was a 0 star option I would give them that. Don't know what a 24hr service is. Nightmare customer service. Never ring back when they say they will.
Just all round shambles.”
“I was in the middle of a very important phone call and asked the driver if he could just give me a second, I was literally 15 seconds to just ask my elderly mum to hang on. On returning to the door he almost threw a ten kilo package into my hand, turned on his heel and stormed off. I was under the impression that customer service is important, I was polite, I had put my phone down in another room whilst I gave him my full attention. Absolutely no need for any bad attitude on his side, very dissatisfied and disappointed in parcel force.”
“These people are a joke. Parcels go missing, they dont turn up and dont leave a card.
Very Bad Service.
They send me a message with the wrong post code, my parcel is due to pick up in different place!!!”
“So far I'm still waiting for my parcel.. It's now day 20 for a 48 hour express delivery.
I have been told its being delivered Friday.... its being delivered Monday.. It's at our national Hub.. I will get someone to call you.. Or I will go and look and call you right back.. Still nothing.. My parcel it appears is gathering a large amount of dust at the Leeds depot where it has been now for most of the 20 days.... I give up.... what are you meant to do.. I've phoned.. I've chased .. I've emailed.. I've contacted on messenger... I've contacted on twitter.. still nothing..... NOTHING.....”
“Despite having four people in the house, parcel force was unable to leave this parcel with any of them- they were even downstairs and would have heard if the doorbell was rang or if they knocked on the door”
“Not very happy with the service at all! Ordered courier service to my house and paid for Saturday delivery. Waited all day Saturday and no parcel came. Tracking said "parcel delivered to wrong depot". It was bank holiday Monday so assumed parcel would be delivered on the Tuesday but still said 'wrong depot" on tracking. Wrote an email asking for a refund and delivery of my parcel and this email was only replied a few minutes after my parcel was delivered!”
“Appalling service. After waiting in all day, and then receiving a text message saying that my parcel could not be delivered, and that the driver had left a collection information card. I knew for a fact that no one tried to deliver anything. So I had no parcel or collection card. After three phone calls over a period of two hours. The last one to the depot itself. It turns out that I was not left card. Its just an automatic SMS. Hopefully they will be out on businesses soon.”
“I have tracked my parcel online and it says that it was attempted to be delivered at 2pm today 05/05/2017. I was at home from 1pm to 3pm and no-one rang my bell or left any notification. I had to call the depot 10 times 20 minutes on hold each until I could connect them. I was told that drivers are very busy and that I will have to go tomorrow to collect the item to the depot. Also I will have to call them before to let them know, it may be not possible to collect it.”
“Ordered a bottle of champagne for my son's birthday and was initially impressed with the text message updates that I'd received from parcel force informing me that the parcel would be delivered to my son between 8am and 9 am. I phoned my daughter-in-law to make sure she was home so the delivery driver didnt miss her.
Then I received a text from parcelforce saying the delivery driver had called at my son's home and no one was available to accept the delivery and they'd popped a card in giving instructions on what to do next. This is a total lie as the driver hadn't called and no card had been left. My daughter-in-law was still waiting.
I then phoned parcelforce to ask what had happened. Was left on hold for 10 minutes then spoke to someone about my son's gift. He waffled on and just couldn't understand what had happened then suggested that my daughter-in-law go to the post office herself to see if the parcel had been left there, but with no delivery card how could she do this and why should she go out of her way for there incompetence.
Then the parcel force representative asked for my daughter-in-laws phone number so the driver could rearrange delivery. I actually gave him her number 7 times before he got it right.
At this point my son still hasn't got his gift !!!! I'm so disappointed as I wanted to surprise my son on his birthday and needed his gift to be delivered on this specific day because he was going away for the weekend. Message to parcel force. Stop telling lies about deliveries and get it right first time !!!!”
