“I ordered something from Etsy which used Parcelforce as their delivery service and I waited for 2 months to then find out that it was returned to sender because the customs charge wasn't paid. However I was not notified by Parcelforce that I needed to pay a customs charge in the first place. Now I have to pay over £30 to have the item redelivered on top of whatever customs charge I have to pay. This is the worst delivery service I have ever had. I don't recommend anyone to use Parcelforce, they're terrible.”
“The parcel was collected by S Jones KW64LJK on 12th June, assured it would be in Galashiels by 16th June. Tracked as far as Bristol Depot and no further, several phone calls to various parcel force people with no outcome. Claim raised, now just received an email because it is out of the 30 day period no compensation will be paid.
Over £400 pounds out of pocket.

“I sent a parcel with Parcelforce 24 Express service as I thought this meant it was a 24 hour delivery service. Instead the parcel took 120 hours. Pathetic. I just sent a similar parcel to a nearby destination with a different company and it took less than 20 hours.”
“I painted an Elephant for a customer and sent the canvas thoroughly wrapped in bubble wrap and fragile labels on the front and back. Arrived torn and the wooden frame broken beyond repair. Any possible compensation will not get the time and effort back as this painting now needs to be re-done. Avoid this terrible service”
“My item was delivered to the Preston depot at 4.15 on Saturday for next working day delivery eg Monday. has been prepared for delivery . Was not delivered Monday, waited in all day, eventually phoned Parcelforce was told problems with staffing, told didn't know when it would be delivered. The company I bought my item from had paid for a service eg next working day. Didn't arrive Tuesday again waited in all day, again phoned Parcelforce was told someone would phone me back, no-one did. Now Wednesday and my item is still not out for delivery and no-one has phoned!!! Am I expected to stay in until they decide to deliver? Someone at Parcelforce needs to sort your services out as they are not being carried out as to your claims.”
“Bad customer service, got hung up on.the parcel should be delivered yesterday and it wasn't. No update on the tracking. Had to call to find out they've put it in the wrong depot and wont deliver till tomorrow. After I took 2 says off cus of their incompetence. Condescending. Stay away.”
“Parcel handed over in County Durham 4pm Thursday on 48 hour service.
Because it was after 3:30 staff said it may not go that evening so plan for a Friday dispatch deliver Tuesday.
Parcel was delivered in Worcester before noon Friday morning.

“Worst delivery service in the world, period. I don't need to explain because they are basically bad on every aspect, from delivery service to customer service. Everything, just a waste of money. I don't understand why they are still in business after all these unsatisfied customers and all these complaints. It's just a shame..”
“Sent a parcel to Ireland -10 days ago. Tracked it to Ireland after 3 days. Then no movement and suddenly the history has changed the package is back in the UK with no movement for 3 days. Despite several attempts to contact parcel force - no explanation . Impossible to speak to anybody. Terrible service.”
“A parcel addressed to me in Huyton Liverpool L36 was ‘delivered’ to a house in Bootle Liverpool L20. It was ‘signed’ for at 11.11hrs on 3rd October. All attempts to get a useful response from Parcelforce have failed.....Driver off self isolating, manager off sick. There is no similarity whatsoever between my address and where Parcelforce ‘think’ they delivered to. The tracking information has my correct details. The missing item was a quilt I had spent hundreds of hours assembling and was being returned from a company in Wales who had embroidered it for me. Having read the other comments on this site I am appalled at the level of service and lack of response. Can’t even post a ‘No Star’ review.”

The retailer was astonished that so little care had been taken and I was equally shocked by the total lack of information from their Bristol Depot who were delivering the parcel. The Customer Service Agent could not tell me when the parcel might arrive and his final helpful advice was that he "was terminating the call", and the line went dead - So much for customer care.”

“We had to return a broken awning to a bad seller, we paid over £50 and it took five days and it was refused!!!! We lost also our refund of £400 due to late delivery!! No compensation whatsoever!!! But they were happy to take our money!! Never again.”
“We are an e-commerce business that uses Parcelforce to send our parcels. We found errors on our invoices where we were overcharged by more than £500.
Parcelforce refused to refund any of the billing errors that were more then 90 days old despite them being obvious mistakes by their billing system. They also acknowledged that all the billing errors within the last 90 days were their fault.
We will now be closing our account and start using another company.
If you are a business that is thinking of using them I would recommend that you use a different company.”
