“The new interface is useless. There should have been a professional in charge of the redesign and a focus on the user experience. the Experience is an F-. I have used the service for over 15 years, and have referred many to it. I need to get out ASAP. This system is a disaster, disorganized, and apparently developed with no budget and some amateur at the lead of the software transformation project. LOOK ELSEWHERE... and if anyone finds an option that is worth using, please post it here.”
“I used paytrust for close to 20 years flawlessly. they just changed to a new software and it is a disaster. I am going to have to leave using them as i can't go on not understanding what is going on and having my bills be late. New is not always better.”
“I knew it couldn't possibly be just me. I started with Paytrust when it was pay my bills. This whole thing is nothing but one hot mess. Every biller I've ever had is now puked up on my home page. I have to know a bill is coming in order to go search for it. Page says my billers (27) are hidden but they there they are. Past due graphics appear on bills that aren't past due, I keep getting someone elses bills showing up in my "assign" box which pops up every time I log in. I now have to check my billers accounts monthly to make sure payments arrived on schedule. It appears to have been developed by a 12 year old gamer that loves pretty pictures and graphics but has no clue what it's like to pay a bill. Customer service is pretty much like it's always been ... "we're sorry for any inconvenience but we aren't going to fix a thing and we aren't allowed to say anything that isn't on our script". Of course we've got the new COVID excuse ... call volume has increased because of COVID because somehow this computer based operation with people answering the phone from their basement or bathroom has become more dangerous. In any case, Pay Trust is some little bitty piece of a larger operation and there's no interest in addressing the problem. Not sure why they don't just shut it down. Half the leadership did not even know it existed and the other half lies and claims it's very interest in customer support but they were unwilling to call in and enjoy the experience. Can't find anything, can't verify anything, can't get support on anything. To the poor fool that isn't getting his bills because they are coming to me ... welcome to my world. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
“I totally agree with the majority of users concerning the latest update the user interface! It is nothing short of a disaster!! I have been with pay trust for over twenty five years. It was nice to be able to pull up my account and see what new bills have arrived and be able to pay them off and what bills are scheduled to be paid. Now I haven't got a clue. I just spent 3 hours trying to understand whats new and what's being paid.
If I see no change to the new interface I'll be leaving my old friend. Never seen such a mess in my whole life. While I used to encourage my friends and associates to sign up, I'm now telling them to stay away!”
“Absolutely hate this update. Please return to old system. I have been a Paypal customer for over 25 years. I am currently looking for another service. I am having to call almost daily to have someone walk me thru my problems with this new system.

“I have been using PayTrust since 2000 and watched it get worse and worse over the years. The final straw is their "new" user interface. It is nothing short of a Cluster****!!
What a disaster!! Ever since Intuit acquired PayTrust, it seems like they are hell bent on destroying it!! And their customer service is HORRIBLE!”
“I have been a Paytrust customer since 2000 and aside from poor customer service (which I try never to call) the legacy platform has worked most of the time. The new platform / interface is very poorly thought out and while I have been able to make it work, it does appear to have been developed by junior code writers with no input from actual users and seems like it had little or limited beta testing. I've spent almost 50 years managing software engineers, software developers and I've never allowed an app out the door without hours of customer input / testing / testing with parallel data sets. Worse when trying to "help" Paytrust correct some of their most egregious errors and omissions, I receive a thank-you email and "we'll pass it on to management..." It would appear that management IS the problem and if they don't engage competent help, they will be left behind with few customers. This apathetic attitude is what allows me to say "thank you for allowing me to find a new resource" for bill pay. I have resisted moving to bank bill pay for my personal payments, but unless there is a rapid response with results from Paytrust, I will move on.”

Was a great service until now- it is inexplicable how a company could intentionally undo all the benefits of their website and then call it an "upgrade:" Time to short their parent company!”

“Recent "upgrade" is the most horrible redesign I have ever seen in a piece of software. It is almost unusable now. They are going to lose all of their customers because of this. “If I could, I would choose ‘0’ star rating. I have been a customer since the beginning. I have patiently waited for the rollout of this new release hoping that it was being improved and would get better. This is the worst program. Not intuitive, some functions seem to have disappeared. And old payees which I deleted to ‘clean up’ my account have been added back. Trying to pay bills and manage my payees and records is suddenly stressful! In the middle of paying bills, the system freezes and I have to start over. Bring back the original version!”
“Goodbye, Paytrust. I have been a customer since it was PayMyBills.com, over 20 years. I was their best salesman, convincing several of my friends and colleagues to use it as well. Last week, they came out with a software change that makes it completely incomprehensible. Before, it was very easy and intuitive. Now, it's impossible to find the things that you want to do. Someone decided that they wanted to make it more modern, I guess, but they have just made it difficult to use. So long Paytrust. Now working on selecting which competitor I should go visit.”
“I loved Paytrust and have used it for over 20 years. I was never that organized and often had overdue bills just because i had misplaced or forgotten about them. All that changed with Paytrust and have not had a late bill since I started with the service. Two weeks ago I would have given them 5 stars.
The interface was getting stale, but did everything I needed. The new update is unusable for so many reasons I cannot put them all in here. Some of the problems have already been captured by the reviews below, but there are other issues as well.
I truly hope that Paytrust will abandon the new platform and back rev to the old until they can present a better update or I will be forced to abandon what has been one of my favorite Internet services for decades.”
