I've been purchasing from PC for several years and I've always been very happy with my items and with the service. This month I ordered the Layering Tee, which I've gotten many times in the past. The new version is much thinner and flimsier, and feels like it will not hold up very well. I'm going to try it, since I use these tees all the time and love the style. But, if it doesn't wash well and last over time, I will not re-order. For the first time ever, I received an error in my order, and noticed that there are no sizes or colors shown on my invoice or in my e-mail confirmation. This isn't a good way to ship someone's items! Also noticed that, all of sudden, there are no customer reviews on their website, and no place to write a review. I agree with the person below who said that if she can't read the reviews, she won't order from them anymore. This has always been a fabulous company, now it seems to be going downhill. Finally, I've noticed that PC is trending toward "Haute couture" lately, for astronomical prices. That will also drive me away. Please spend more on quality items, even if it means spending less on fancy boxes and packaging!

Website in meltdown, but they take your money and then tell you over the phone they no longer send emails to confirm the purchase. Impossible therefore without order number to find out what is happening. Customer service said I would find order number on the website but website requires order number to find the order number!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID. Something is clearly wrong with the business

Web says “made in Peru” funny how when I received my $300.00 dress the tag inside says “made in China” Customer service claims the material is made in Peru but sewn in China because they have better sewing machines?

The new website configuration leaves a lot to be desired. One can no longer leave a review, which I relied on to get a feel for fit, color, quality, etc. Also, BEWARE! Pay very close attention to the amount of your refunds. They now subtract the $7.95 return fee PRIOR to figuring your tax (if any paid), resulting in a refund smaller than what you're owed. Additionally, be careful when you checkout. Even if you spend $350+, the box for paid shipping is now automatically checked off. You will need to check the free shipping box yourself.

I ordered a cardigan in June this year which was delivered promptly was beautiful but didn’t fit. I started a return immediately after delivery but their returns site was experiencing problems. After a minimum of ten telephone calls and several emails their returns site was reinstated. I returned first week in august and was notified bt the carrier on the 23rd that the item had been returned to PC I mailed Peruvian collection on sept 13th to enquire about my refund, 22 days after delivery. Yesterday I heard back to say my refund was processed and should appear in my account. An estimated 3 months to order return and be refunded! Note! Refund happened after my email and over 3 weeks since they had received the returned item. Hours wasted very frustrating, won’t be revisiting however wonderful the items look.

I read these reviews - I agree that most companies offer free shipping. I saw that PC does offer free shipping as well. Their quality is good as well as their pricing. Just a thought - when they charge for a return just remember how much time and cost it is when you drive to a store!

Close to ordering $1,000.00+ from PC (not difficult to do) and I’m thankful for all the reviews; won’t be taking a chance with PC. Beautiful catalog-

I've been buying mostly cotton tops from PC for over 20 years. I'm an online shopper in general and Covid drove me to do it almost exclusively. I really do like PC's unique prints and all cotton tops, but many of the reviews here are accurate: they take quite a while to ship (and I'm in CO, they're in Kansas . . . one state apart), shipping is extremely expensive and returns are also; and just recently, with their new website, you can't even write a review of a purchase or read any reviews!(The new website and changes have occurred since the founder passed away.) If they've eliminated reviews by customers I will be forced to buy almost nothing from them -- it's just too expensive to order, pay shipping, find the item doesn't fit (their sizing info. is fairly inaccurate), then pay return shipping. I don't usually like the items that much! I think they're shooting themselves in the foot and may drive themselves out of business with these policies. The competition is just to strong for these policies these days . . . . Hope they learn something before it's too late. 8/12/23

After ordering a dress, I checked on-line to see when it would ship. The site said 6-12 weeks which was longer than I wanted to wait. I could not find a way to cancel the order on-line and sent customer service an email saying the wait time was too long and to cancel the order. They replied I would have the dress in 7-10 business days, which I did. There's obviously some kind of disconnect. After reading other reviews about length of time for delivery I wondered if you only get service by complaining. I was disappointed with the fabric of the dress but am keeping it because after reading other reviews about processing returns I figured a bird in hand is worth something. I will NOT order from them again based on other reviews and my experience.

Have been waiting 3 weeks for the returns portal to be up and running - very disappointed with being fobbed off every time I call. Hopefully I will eventually be able to return the dress I ordered, but sadly will never buy from this company again.

My daughter and I have bought many things from Peruvian connection , but many of my favourites eg vintage wash round neck long t shirts are not offerred anymore, and the fabrics on t shirts have deteriorated. In general quality of fabric and design is not as good as it was. And UK prices are now astronomic( much higher than US) so reluctantly I will not be ordering.

Return portal a nightmare. I am being instructed that my order number can not be identified so I am unable to proceed to the next step. I wish to return 3 items which I initially ordered on June 6th. They arrived on July 3rd and I have been trying to return them ever since. I will not be ordering any more items from them unless things improve significantly.

Nothing wrong with customer advisors at all. They are great but I'm appalled by the fact that now the shipping cost is £8.50 to receive an item, and if you need to return it, you lose that amount and then have to pay another £8.50 to return! It's due to items being sent to and from USA. Most likely due to Brexit in that there is no warehouse now in Europe, I believe. Their clothing is excellent quality and with some unique designs, but I won't be using them again, sadly, unless things change. The person I spoke to at customer service was brilliant and apologetic (I had problems with the website which is new and having teething problems!). I felt bad for her because it's obviously not the fault of the advisors.

Ordered an item and they sent the wrong color and charged me $100 more than item was advertised. I sent it back but had to pay the postage to return their mistake. I wrote them that I should not be paying the postage for their mistake. They refused to refund the postage. This shows what a cheap company they are. A small amount, but it revealed how they operate. I would not ever deal with such a company again.

Overpriced and the jacket I wanted was ill-fitting. They charge for shipping and they charge you again when you report it. They refused to publish my review when I submitted it. Do not trust this company.

Thanks for all these negative reviews. I was about to order over £1200 worth of goods from them. Now I won’t. Rather sad, as they looked lovely I the photos, but sense I’d be swindled .

USE CAUTION: Great looking catalog, ridiculous prices, S L O W order processing. You'll wait WEEKS. Fabric quality is unreliable. SHIPPING rate is HIGH and you will PAY to RETURN. Look well, some things that look fabulous will be junk in your hand.

I have spent thousands of dollars over the last 10 years at Peruvian Connection and have always paid their outrageous shipping costs. I called today to see if I could get free shipping on an order over 200.00 as complimentary for being a loyal customer. The answer was no. This company expects you to spend 350.00 to get free shipping which is insulting. They need to show appreciation to those who keep them in business instead of greed to fill their own pockets. Very disappointing and I do not know if I will continue to be a loyal customer.
