“Went test drove car-everything on car was okay-we paid deposit and confirmed the sale. When collecting car we had to wait 30 minutes for the car and paperwork. Came away from dealership washed the car to find out there was a dent in rear tailgate. Contacted dealership was told that dent master would call to home address to sort dent we then found that there was also paint damage too. Contacted dealership again to tell them about paint problem and dent was discussed that car would be dropped if at dealership. Called number of times to find out if car was ready didn’t manage to speak to anybody then my partner called to be told car was ready. On collecting car dent was removed but paintwork has been touched up with touch up paint and this was clearly a mess/half a job done by garage.. the sales manager and sales assistant agreed that job wasn’t 100% done, therefore car had to be left again at dealership to get fixed.. during the conversation it was insinuated that we had actually created this problem ourselves however my partner had proof that this wasn’t the case.. As a customer you can understand why we aren’t happy with a dealership likes yourselves customer service is massive nowadays and yet I felt like it was a hassle for your dealership to fix this problem.. my car was dropped off to me fixed however this should have been done to the standard in the first place instead of wasting my time and my partners time.. one very unhappy customer and won’t be doing any further business in the future with Peter Vardy..”

When you're spending many thousands of pounds, you hope that the people you're dealing with care about you - and the staff here certainly fulfilled that expectation. It is common knowledge that car dealerships make the majority of their money in the extra products they offer (warranties, insurance, extras, etc.) - and while these products were offered (and their benefits were explained) - there was certainly no "hard sell" or pressure to accept, which I *sincerely* appreciate. Top marks for treating me like a human, and not "just another customer".”

“I don’t like putting bad comments up in anything as I work in retail but the way my purchase went was a bit of let down .first of all when decided on the car I wanted the salesman was up down checking with his manager and came back gave me a price ,I was happy with that so I agreed I’d pay a deposit and we were getting so much back on our old car and would take rest on your finance but after agreeing to do this the salesman so more people coming in and left us for a we while to deal with them so wasn’t happy with that as we are important at this moment in time as he’s half way through the sale with us and as I said i work in sales and if I had done this to any customer I dealt with my area manager woukdnt have been happy with me .he then did the finance with me and because I didn’t have a license he would have to check with a finance company who would deal with that but then came back to me and said this has all went through no probs but then said I still require a finance company to except me without a licence.anyway two days passed and still didn’t hear anything so on the Thursday he called to say he’s still waiting on an outcome but I was fed up with waiting I decided just to pay the whole lot myself so he said he’d phone me in five minutes.five minutes passed and got a call to say I would have to pay so much which made my car approx a £1000 more so I argued with him and said he had agreed on a price so if I wasn’t getting that price I was gonna cancel anyway he called me and agreed to do this so I agreed to go ahead .i love the car but the extras ie foot mats weren’t in car so wasn’t happy at that .i have dealt with Perth before and was really happy with the service we received that’s why we came back but obviously now a we bit let down with the whole experience”
“I was extremely happy to start with and then unhappy at after sales service. I am still waiting after 2 weeks to get money refunded and also a call regarding the Bluetooth not working in the car”
“I only have one fault with my purchase from Peter Vardy and that was the valet of the vehicle, I was rather disappointed on it, I had to clean around the inside of the car, before showing my friends my new car and when I opened the bonnet up the there was still old leaves stuck under the window and engine was not even clean. I have bought used cars before and have had higher standards of cleaning in them. Poor show peter!”
