“All staff that dealt with me regarding the sale and delivery of my new car were without exception first class from the receptionist, sales executive, sales manager, administration staff and guest experience manager. Very customer focussed without being patronising, any query I raised was listened to and dealt with professionally. The glass of non alcoholic fizz and hamper was such a lovely surprise and really appreciated.

“With the exception of a girl called Debbie & a salesman called Sean, Peter Vardy Kirkcaldy are the most unprofessional, inept, incompetent bunch of 2nd rate cowboys it has been my displeasure to deal with! After sales and customer service was non existant, they take months to resolve the simplest issue & have no idea about phoning customers back! If we had not gone to their head office and threatened legal action we would still be saddled with a defective car! We will not be dealing with them again & I will be advising friends/colleagues accordingly! Car supplied without 2nd key (4 months for replacement) bad advice from service dept, incorrect mot & no advisory notice giving us the chance to return car, defective & dangerous brakes, email for possible upgrade sent after deal date, cars advertised not available etc etc!”

“Showroom and layout was impressive, meet and greet was also very welcoming, however this is where it ends. Having located a car on the dealer website I arrived at the garage to be told that the Audi A4 car I had selected was available, much to my delight.
After some discussions between the less than average sales person and the business manager I was told that the price online was actually wrong and that the car was £3,000 more than the website price. After challenging this for false advertisement I was told by the salesman that false advertising is "a myth". After this comment was made and no real apology given, I decided to take my business elsewhere.

“The staff at Peter vardy were very helpful and my car is great, I wasn't happy when I collected my car as the petrol light was on and flashing 'fill up'. I completely understand that petrol wasn't included in my payment invoice but had I known I was going to be in a situation of being scared the car would brake down due to having no petrol I would have asked in advance and handing my car in with over quarter tank of petrol I was upset about that. It should maybe be made clear to customers handing thier old car in with very little petrol if there's going to be none put into the new one.

“The Gentleman I was dealing with, was Jason (handover person for picking up car) and he was very polite and helpful. My issues with the car were the following:- Firstly the car wasn't ready for pick up as it wasn't in the foyer area. Jason had to chase it up, he advised me that the car was going for petrol which took 20 mins. On arrival, we both started to inspected the car, Jason asked the driver for the main key, which couldn't be found, Jason left me to inspect the car which was no problem. I noticed the paintwork had loads of brown marks all around - I was advised that this wasn't buffed up correctly, Inside the car was dusty, polish was still noticeable on the interior handles and marks on the windows. There were grass like bits stuck in the grooves once the boot was opened. Very disappointing, therefore this experience took the limelight away from collecting my daughter new car. If I had transport, I would of left the car until all these items were corrected. Jason has/or arranged for the car to be picked up on Saturday 9th Aug from myself to address all these points. Key - inside cleaned and Scotchguarded again, paintwork buffed and the protective coating redone and to fill the car with petrol.(Awaiting a call from Jason Wednesday 6th Aug for confirmation) hopefully this will happen.
