“Things could have gone smoother and finance details could have been made clearer. Car was received pretty dirty which was hard to notice on collection as it was dark.”
“Throughout the process the staff I dealt with were excellent and all would get a 10 out of 10 rating. The only problem I had was when I took the car home after handover and got a chance to examine it. First thing I noticed was I opened the nearside rear door and saw a large muddy footprint on the rear sill which I had to wash off. Next thing I saw was there were a lot of pieces of plastic bag and elasticated string. The protective coverings had obviously ripped off with no attempt made to remove it all. Most of it came off by lifting the headrests slightly and taking it off although there were a couple of bits which were there in there entirety. I took off several handfuls. The third problem in the back passenger area was that there was only 1 seat belt anchor point visible. I could see where the other 2 should be but they weren't there. Being new to the car I didn't know how to recover them. I looked from the boot, no joy. I put the seat backs down, no joy. My wife then noticed that there was a pull ribbon on the front of the seat which allowed us to pull it forward, find the seat belt anchors and bring them up to where they should be. Sloppy, careless pre-handover valeting.”
“Car looked great when collected but on driving home it was discovered that a rug stud was broken, I returned the car immediately and informed the sales team. I feel the time taken and having to return to the garage twice was excessive and a long with the time to correct the problem, although I would say a minor problem. To me it is usually the minor things that go wrong when a new car is purchased and should be handled fast and efficiently, in preparation just in case of something major later on, it builds confidence.”

“Was very disappointed with the poor quality of the paint job done on car this has now been resolved also extremely disappointed that i drove the car 70 miles when the low engine oil light came on the car took a full litre of oil to get it to its correct level which could of damaged the engine also checked tyre pressures the following day after receiving car and the back n.s. Only had 18 psi in it certainly wouldn't recommend Vardy for mechanical work”

“Already sent in a review, but have one niggling concern . When I asked about warranty on the vehicle ,Martin said it came with12 months warranty which,not being told otherwise I assumed to be provided free by Peter Vardy. I Did not get to see the finance proposal untill we collected the car ,even though I had previously asked Martin to e mail a copy to us to look over,and even then it was basically just sign here and we will get every thing ready. Looking through the finance agreement now ,it appears that I am paying for the 12 months warranty that was provided with the car.
Disappointed that Martin did not mention when asked about warranty that it would be an extra cost.
