“Best customer service received from any garage or dealership in all my years of motoring. First time I`ve left not feeling as if I`d got the worst of the deal. We decided to change some things at the last minute but Colin Elliot managed to sort it out to our obvious pleasure. Picking up the car we were served by Claire who was very helpful as well as being very informative.”
“This is the second new car we have purchased from Peter Vardy. Last time we had a series of delays in the delivery with the delivery date being changed on many occasions & finding we had to chase any info. Due to being very happy with the car, we decided to return a put our previous experience to one side.
The service we received on arrival & throughout the buying process was excellent, but then when it came to the delivery, once again we hit problems. Due to being away on holiday between the buying & the delivery, there were over two weeks to have the car in the showroom & prepared for us. We were told this was no problem. When the day arrived we were told it hasd been left At Livingston instead of Aberdeen & we couldn't get until the following day.
The next day we were en route to the showroom when we received a phone call to say the car was still not there. We continued to the show room to discuss this with the staff & the car arrived during the time we were there. We were promised & two hour turn round, so we completed the paperwork & we left to have a coffee elsewhere to return for the car. When we returned expecting the car to be ready to leave the lot, we had to wait another 40 minutes for it.
The staff at the Aberdeen showroom were polite, pleasant, professional & apologetic, but once again the delivery arrangements let the whole process down. I don't know where in the system the problem lies, & maybe we have just been very unlucky with our experiences, but it leaves a slightly bad taste.
I hope you can address this area of your system so these disappointments don't happen to others, or us if we return.

All our requests were considered in a professional manner,& the advise & info that was offered to us regarding car models, servicing & finance was invaluable in our eventual choice of new car. we were more than pleased to place our order & on the day we collected our vehicle, we were so surprised & delighted with the way in which it was managed. “We were very disappointed with the service we received from Peter Vardy in Kirkcaldy. We were promised that the car would be serviced and valeted and on arrival we found that this wasn't the case. We thought it was strange that the car was already running when we went to drive away for the first time but we soon realised when parking and restarting the ignition that this was to hide the service and engine warning lights appearing. This was deceptive and completely out of order.
We were provided a courtesy car that then promptly broke down. My partner missed two days of work due to having to sort out these issues. Some of the comments made by the salesmen were not acceptable during this process were not acceptable and full complaint email will be sent shortly.
All in all I will never use Peter Vardy again and will never recommend Peter Vardy to anyone ever.”

“I have given 5stars but with one small caveat. When collecting the car I was informed that I would require to produce both my driving licence and paper copy, this entailed me having to rush back to the house for the paper copy. We should of been informed of this earlier. Apart from that we are delighted with the car it was presented well any minor problems eg manuals etc was sorted out right away, the staff, Jason, was extremely patient and helpful. “For the last 12 years I've purchased Vauxhall cars from Peter Vardy and will continue doing so as I have always received great service and advice when purchasing cars the only feedback I wish to give is on this occasion and my previous purchase at a different Peter Vardy branch I've had to return to each branch to have my £20 fuel put in which I've always been charged for on my invoice but I haven't realised until I've driven about 20miles.
In future I will check fuel reading when I view then purchase my next car but I shouldn't have to as your branches should be trusted to ensure this has been done prior to handover.”
“From the moment I walked into Peter Vardys, Whytemyres, Aberdeen the staff were fantastic. Eddie the salesman was most knowledgable, attentive and patient. He made sure I understood everything.
When collecting the car Jason went all through the paper work for the old and new car. The car was unveiled and we were shown round the whole vehicle. Jason even set my favourite radio station for me.
The receptionist gave us coffee on arrival and juice later on.
Eddie rang 2 days later to see if all was well and if I was happy with the car.

“I recently purchased a Suzuki Swift from Peter Vardy Motherwell. I was disappointed to find that on my way home after collecting the car the brake information light on the dashboard came on and off several times. Also the fixing around the gear stick was broken and to cap it all when I got home there was a wheel trim missing (I had only travelled less than ten miles). These problems were fixed although I had to wait several days before I got the car back. (The only saving grace was that I had a courtesy car).
I would have given a 'poor' rating were it not for the fact I had good service and an apology when I returned the car.
My mother, her partner, and my brother have all bought cars from Peter Vardy without any problem so you can imagine their disappointment after recommending Peter Vardy to me.
Whilst on the subject of recommendation, I have yet to receive the £200 I was promised as my family had purchased cars from Peter Vardy. This should really have been taken off the purchase price but I did not find out about it until I collected the car. (My mother has also been promised £50).”
