My nearest branch didn't have the car I wanted in stock but were able to locate the car I wanted elsewhere and made this a quick and easy process.

My husband and I were very pleased with our sales representative Alistair who ensured a smooth and relatively (!) painless purchase of our discovery . He was vey personable , professional and easy to deal with. We had a slight issue once we got the car home in that it was pulling to the right and the steering wheel was off centre. The issue was resolved but only after two visits back into Aberdeen which is a two hour round trip for us. We felt that there was a lack of communication between the sales floor and workshop and if it hadn't been for the fact that my husband stayed in Aberdeen for the whole day we feel we might have had a third trip before the matter was resolved . However we love the car and look forward to further dealings with yourselves.

Very pleased with overall service from your garage/showroom. But it would be useful if there was more than one Motability specialist.

I dealt with Mark Clay and he was lovely, very professional and clear on all points for the sale, I feel that all your attention to detail is brilliant and made the whole experience a great one. Thank you. Very quick at coming back on any queries after the sale.

We bought our car from Peter Vardy Perth in August 2015. We originally went in looking to buy a brand new Astra on PCP however we were talked into buying a second-hand car. Whether this was to do with the salesman getting more commission I don't know, however there was no mention/discussion of PCP costs. A car was brought to us and we were immediately taken for a short test drive. No chance to inspect it, look at different cars etc. When we arrived back at the dealership we were quickly ushered into the showroom to discuss prices - we ended up being there for over three hours. We quite clearly stated what our maximum budget was and that we did not want to go any higher than that. The salesman (who we can't remember the name of but what I will say is that he was very pushy) went to talk to a manager in another room to "build a deal" and when he came back to us (remember, we were there for over three hours, he took his time "building a deal") he did his sales pitch, which highlighted all the "amazing" extras (which we had to pay for) and the free gift of paint protection, which we highly doubt was ever applied to the car. The price was over £30 more than our maximum budget, even after clearly stating we didn't want to go above £X. Yet again, he went back to the manager to see what he could do. He came back to us again and showed us the new price which was still more than we wanted to pay but naively we shook hands and agreed on the deal. On the day of collection we arrived at the dealership at an agreed time of 6PM. Exciting you would think, apart from the fact we had to wait half an hour before we even got to the point of signing paperwork. The salesman who we had dealt with previously was too busy and we were passed onto another (Glen) who, compared to the last salesman, was even worse. Loud, pushy, condescending. Are you seeing a theme here? After the paperwork we thought that was it, we finally get our new car! Wrong! Here comes another sales pitch, this time for a service plan. I will say that it is something we are happy with as the services are prepaid, however, the fact that the service department couldn't even set that up (they forgot to send the details through!) means that we have to pay more each month than was agreed. Although we are happy with our car we feel that it was a very pressurised sales experience. Six months later we booked the car in for a winter check. We booked it online and there was the option of a courtesy car for a small fee which we selected. The next day we got a phone call saying that you don't get a courtesy car as the car would only be in for two hours which we said was fine and that we would just wait. The day before the car was due to go in we got a "courtesy" call asking if we still had the Astra. We said yes and the reply was "We would be very interested in buying your car as we have low stock of that type and are you available at any time." Coincidentally we said the car was booked in the next day and we were told that when we took the car in we were to ask for Thomas Mannion. When we arrived the salesmen sought us out and took us over to his desk. We spent another three hours of the "hard sell" getting quotes for cars. We told them what our budget was and it would have to be brand new. Thomas got our settlement figure for our car (which we already knew) and went to give our car an appraisal and then spoke to his manager about how much it would be worth. The kicker is that it was almost half what we paid six months ago and not enough to cover the settlement figure. Being the kind people they are they upped their offer to £500 less than the settlement figure. If they wanted the car desperately they could pay to cover the finance. In the end we decided to keep our car (which we are happy with) and told them this. Thomas started getting defensive and belligerent. It was altogether a tiring and unpleasant experience. The car was also in for four hours (again we were misled) instead of two which meant I was late to work. We will never buy a car from them again. Avoid at all costs!

I had a great experience when buying my BMW. I got a great price and felt the deal was really tailored to what I needed. I was only intending on viewing the car but the service was great and the value for money was amazing so I decided to go for the offer that day. I have also had great service after purchasing my car and would recommend Peter Vardy. Thanks so much Miss Owens.

Brilliant service! My Salesman Gary was great. Even before my arranged appointment I was sent a video so that I knew who I'd be dealing with. Felt relaxed and in control. On viewing a vehicle that I liked, I was taken out on a test drive. No pressure, Gary made sure that it was the car I wanted and that I was sure. Deal done and arranged an appointment for the next week. All paperwork was ready and the car. Smooth changeover, as I traded in my old car too. Everyone was so pleasant and was offered coffee and biscuits on several occasions. Thanks also to the girls in the office who were great too. Gary is an asset to the sales team and I would have no hesitation in asking for him again and telling friends and family to ask for him when thinking of changing or buying a new car.
