Salesman phoned a week later just to make sure we were happy with everything.I filled in a questionnaire just before we collected car but the company had PHONED about another 5 times to ask about filling in this questionnaire. I am really not happy about it , It is putting me off using company again”

“A couple of weeks ago, a car I bought from Peter Vardy Aberdeen wouldn't start.
I called Peter Vardy assist and because it was late that night, they promised to send someone to have a look at it and get it fixed or tow it to a garage if it couldn't be fixed.
The car was fixed the next day but it had some technical codes which needed to be reset at Peter Vardy,or so I thought.
I took the car over and the lady that attended to me was very helpful and sorted out the code issues.
But as soon as I started to leave,the code came back on.I went back in to complain and was told that I would need to bring the car back on Monday.
But I had a dilemma-I had to use the car for my driving test the next day and I was either going to forfeit my test or by some miracle the car would work.
Anyway,what followed baffled me-the service was not good in any sense of the word-it was beyond excellent as the lady managed to speak with Danny who decided that he would not leave me without a car for my test. He worked late till the car was fixed and even delivered it to my home.
So this goes out to "Danny and the Extra Mile Go-ers" at Peter Vardy Aberdeen-from the receptionist, to the really nice lady who served us with snacks&drinks,and the very nice and bubbly lady who drove us home,THANK YOU!!!
You didn't just do your jobs,you went beyond doing your jobs,you showed what outstanding service looks like and true humanity. You have one very loyal customer in me.
Although I didn't pass my test,it wasn't because my car was not fixed.

“I have to say that I was rather sceptical about paying another visit to Peter Vardy premises in Aberdeen after a previous disappointing visit.
How glad I am that I decided to give them another try. This time the visit was handled extremely well. We were given first class service and made aware of the different options and models on offer. This ultimately resulted in us test driving the new Discovery Sport and purchasing it.

“It started off well but went sour very quickly. Car was sold with a full service history but in fact has none. Sales manager was very rude and obnoxious when approached on this matter - he didn't believe I had the right to complain, despite the fact I had been promised the FSH for three weeks.
Furthermore, the car had more owners than we were told. The sales manager didn't see a problem with the salesman making a 'mistake' despite the salesman making at least 4 of these (material) 'mistakes'. To my mind, the salesman was either incompetent or lacking in integrity. Not that this makes much difference to Peter Vardy! Their customer service is atrocious - no one will answer your calls even with a valid complaint. As soon as they have your money they do not care.
I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Certainly I will be going back to buying cars from Arnold Clark!
