“Sales team at Dalgety Bay were very good and found my car in the colour I was desperate for. It did arrive the following day for collection but I received a call saying that it had a scratch and that they were sending it to be fixed. Very grateful that it was fixed however was slightly annoyed as was then told should get the car tomorrow with a possibility of it taking 2 days. Was then contacted the following day to say that it would not be that day but ready by 2pm tomorrow. I did then phone the following day just after 3pm to see if it was ready for collection but was then told it was the but would then be the next day for definite. I did get my car 3 days later than expected but Stuart the Sales Person was incredibly apologetic and it was definitely worth the wait. If I had been told on the original day of collection that I would not be able to pick it up for 3 to 4 days and that they would confirm the collection once the body shop had completed the repair rather than telling me each day it would be tomorrow I would have scored it 10. I would rather have someone under promise and then over deliver so that my expectations are then surpassed.”
“I just bought a corsa at the Edinburgh Seafield branch and was happy until I picked up the car. On the sales receipt I noticed that the salesman Mark Clay had added paint protection and car mats without even telling me. I complained to Craig the sales manager who apologised and offered to cover the cost of my first service. This offer didn't come close to the cost of the useless paint protection and the car mats, which incidentally were not even given to me until I complained. I agreed to let it go and accept his offer as he said that was all he would do. The offer he made was almost two weeks ago and despite me chasing it up and calling twice I still have not received the promised letter. I am happy with the car but totally disappointed at the underhand way that these products were sold to me without my consent or knowledge, and even more annoyed at the fact that this has not been resolved.”
“Great service, Chris was very helpful, but I know it seems nothing, but a wee free gift would go down well, other carers I work with who bought corsas got £500, cash back, or a tablet, or a voucher, I didn't even get a teddy bear”
“Service was good although i did e mail about the fact that in the delivery checklist it stated there was a warning triangle and first aid kit, these were not in the car, i have not pursued it to dates”
“Salesman Robbie Blakemore was very helpful in helping us choose the car that we wished for being the Vauxhall Mokka. He advised us on the financial side and helped us conclude our business with Peter Vardy. Since agreeing the deal he has been in contact with us to make sure all was fine with the car. We wish to say that from start to finish the service from all staff at Peter Vardy Motherwell was excellent and they all couldn't be more helpful and can only say ten out of ten for everything.”
“I brought a 2012 VW CRAFTER from the Aberdeen Vauxhall branch and I have nothing but problems with the van . I have had the van since march and it has cost well over £4000 worth of repairs to it . This is one of the worst sales experience I have had I just keep getting fobbed off from the branch from managers to sales staff . I am looking at taking this matter to court over the shocking time I have had at this branch.
Regards .
Mark Bullen”
