“John McIntyre was the assistant who dealt with our sale. He went over all finance options available for the Model I was interested in and went in depth with these to make sure I was getting something within my budget and that was value for money. The sale was quick and easy and didn't throw out any issues. We were kept up to date of timeframes in between the sale and pick up, which ended up being less than a week. There were only two issues on pick up: the service plan hadn't been included and the stripes on the car had not been removed. Both of these things were dealt with and resolved within half an hour without any problem at all which was great and very much appreciated. This was out first time buying with Peter Vardy and would absolutely recommend the service above other garages we have used. All staff involved were extremely friendly and helpful. We are delighted with our car and all areas of the sale.”
“got my first car from here very quick process and great customer care, i got a better car than i expected for a very reasonable price , i wouldnt go anywhere else! Thanks peter vardy!”
“Over all 7/10 good experience
. The call centres shouldnt be making appointment for customers to go and view cars that arent in the branches.
. i told the sales rep my budget and he
completely dismissed this
. I bought the car cash when i came to pay it i was told they can only accept £9k cash this caused hassel for me having to borrow money in put what i had already taken out back in the account , the sales rep knew i was paying cash i should have been told this before hand.
Apart from these three things i had a pleasant experience with yourself.

“The 61 plate Vauxhall Corsa of my work colleague suffered a snapped timing chain. She had had only one service in this time and so the car was not in posession of a full service history and her warranty had just run out. Was Peter Vardy Aberdeen understanding and helpful? No they were not. They almost took pleasure in telling her they could not help her. They offered no support in terms of helping her purchase another car by means of a good deal and they did not take a view of the big picture at all. No car should suffer such catastrophic failure after only 16,000 miles. In the end my colleague went to a competitor garage and they offered to give her the full value of a working 61 plate Corsa in exchange for a new car from them. Why couldnt Peter Vardy Aberdeen have done that? Because they have no conception of customer service. As a former Peter Vardy Aberdeen customer myself I will never go back to them.”
“Always had excellent service at Peter Vardy - have had 3 cars due to changing situations. Staff very helpful, offer suggestions & very knowledgeable. Both myself & my daughter recently bought new cars & absolutely delighted with them. Like having service plan & also like regular texts & e-mails reminding me when service due or offering mid year services i.e. winter check etc. Would have no hesitation in recommending to friends/family.”
“Our experience was good with a helpful salesman. Communications at Dalgety Bay is, perhaps, not its strong point. We looked at 3 cars on the forecourt which turned out to be sold - no signage and the salesman unaware. We also visited the website and were informed there were 2 Minervas on site which we were interested in. Not on site. Thought to be in Glasgow or sold!
The salesman's language was, at times, ripe and he took the Lord's name in blasphemy quite a few times. We thought that he should have been informed that was unacceptable from a company with Peter Vardy's Christian principles.”
“Gavin Woo was the salesman I dealt with and he was fantastic. Really helpful and considerate without being pushy or too 'salesman-ish'.
The car I purchased was at a fair price and was in great condition - I did feel it a cheek to add £50 as an admin fee, £30 for half a tank of petrol, £25 for new mats etc to the price of the car as I would expect this to be included in the price of the vehicle. Also, my car was traded in with half a tank of petrol, mats and my time preparing admin (V5, parking permits, insurance etc) which I wasn't able to add to my part exchange price, so to charge this as a separate fee I felt was a bit rich.
Nevertheless, I would definitely return to Peter Vardy in the future. My previous car was purchased at Arnold Clark and their after sales service was so shocking, I vowed I would never return to them again.”
“I bought one car which was ok but when I asked for some help to buy another car for my wife they keep changing the word they said and no customer care what so ever.
So disappointed by some service they provide. Also My car which has just passed the MOT 2 day after I purchased.keep making noise and .....”
“My decision to buy the Jaguar XJ was made very easy by the helpful advice & information given by John Otto. I found all staff were very pleasant & would have no hesitation returning when I'm looking to change my car in the future. Well done Peter Vardy.”
“Excellent service from start to finish - professionally handled and guided through the buying process by Alastair Grant & all the Team in Aberdeen.
Delighted with new car thank you.”
“All staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful which made our car buying experience exceptional and even more of a pleasure. This is the second car we have bought from Peter Vardy and wouldn't hesitate to buy further cars”
“Excellent care, help and assistance. Paul Johnstone at Seafield was extremely helpful and friendly and listened to me for my needs and requirements.
