“mileage asked for, 9,000 per annum, and was told would be ok, when Agreement Documents arrived, from Blackhorse Finance Co., mileage allowance was given as 24,677, for 3 years of deal, 2,323, less than I asked for,.and that I would have to pay an excess charge of 7p + VAT if I exceed the 24,677 on the agreement, not what I asked for.
The Vauxhall Service and Warranty Booklet, has no information about Pre Delivery Insp. being done, no information on what the service intervals, are, so I'm in the dark about when the car has to be serviced.Booklet has NO information, filled in by the Dealership, which is very disappointing.”
“On Sunday I turned up (by VIP invitation day) to buy a new car. Due to the fact that they were very busy and I had another commitment to attend I was informed that I would receive all the financial information by phone that evening - no call! So the next day I drove 30 miles (again) to complain that I didn't receive a call back and wanted to buy a new car which had previously been discussed. I was then told that I would receive a call that same day with the information I needed - no call. It's now day 3 after my first visit and still no call. I seriously believe this company don't want to sell cars and obviously have the worst customer service I've come across of any car dealership..........! Just amazing, Obvously I won't be buying my new car there anymore.”
“Very happy with the sales process, the Peter Vardy salesman was very helpful and not too pushy and allowed me plenty of time to test drive a couple of cars and check them over. I wanted the car as soon as possible, so the Salesperson arranged for me to be able to pick it up later the same day, which was great. However after having the car for a week I noticed that the handbrake was barely working. I dug out the service book from the car and found an MOT certificate from January 2016 which had advisories on it saying handbrake 23% efficiency only just a pass. The MOT certificate I was given from the dealer from June 2016 showed no advisories. So either Peter Vardy had failed to notice that the handbrake wasn't working when it was MOTed in June, or it had scraped through and they had just decided to sell it with the fault and hope the buyer wouldn't notice. Neither of which is exactly very reassuring. However they were at least very helpful in resolving the problem, and booked the car in quickly to fix the fault and gave it a free valet. The Salesman was also very apologetic, so at least they made a good job of rectifying the problem. Would I buy from Peter Vardy again? If it hadn't been for the handbrake fault then undoubtedly yes, but I now have doubts about whether I would actually trust them again.”
“Rob, the salesman who took charge of helping me was friendly, polite, humorous and extremely helpful and did everything he could to ensure that I was getting exactly the car I wanted and as soon as was possible. Harry, the manager of the branch was also very friendly and helped as much as he could. I was very happy with the amount of assistance provided by every member of staff who I had contact with.
I now have the car hoped to have when I first walked into the branch and could not have asked for more.”
