“Peter Vardy are offering a minimum of £1000 part exchange as advertised on their web site and the news papers with no mention of restrictions. However when you go into the showroom and ask for a the minimum £1000 part ex they they tell you it depends on the age of the car on a sliding scale down to £250 for anything over 10 years old.
They are also advertising in addition to the minimum £1000 part ex cash back instead but nothing was mentioned in the show room about this.
In addition the paper is offering free servicing but this was not offered in the showroom instead I could buy a service package.
What they offer in the local papers and on their webpage and what they offer in the show room don't match.

“Excellent customer service, had a slight problem with the car a couple of days after purchase (nothing that could of been foreseen), but it was dealt with efficiently and effectively. Overall, very happy with the whole experience.”
“Visited the Car Store which is an intresting experience. You have to check in on arrival and are giving a lanyard with your name on it and assigned a salesmam. On reflection it was a bit patronising wearing a name tag. The salesman was good enough, I saw the car I was looking for and then we sat down to look at figures but they way Peter Vardy work is they are passed to someone to look at but were not in my budget and then i felt the salesman could not be bothered after that. I think if he wanted my business he could of done more. Anywhere I sent to visit a Nissan dealership they had the same car with a lot less miles on clock and the car was 2000 pounds cheaper and they bent over back wards to get me the deal I was looking for so left a happy customer. On reflection I won't buy a car from Vardy in future as the prices for cars are high and the salesman could of done better in terms of service.”
“Had done extensive research online and visited Perter Vardy Motherwell, to physically look at the vehicles. Was met by Gordon and after explaining my needs, he showed me a few vehicles that met my particuliar needs. After a few hours I decided that the meriva best suited my requirements. I was still a little unsure and informed Gordon that I needed more time to think it through. He was ok wih this and I left the showroom. I returned a few hours later and purchased the vehicle in question. From first visting Peter Vardy I was under no pressure to buy. I would like to thank all the staff at the Motherwell branch for their friendly helpful advice and especially Gordon who, was very patient with me and everything I asked was expained in a clear and consice manner. I have purchased a few new cars in the past from various dealerships and always felt pressured to buy. They should take a leaf out Perer Vardy's sales staff. Once again a big thank you to all invoved in assisting me during the purchase of my new car. PS the dogs love the boot, they have room to move safely when attached to their harnesses.”

“I had been to a couple of garages before I went to Peter Vardy and the service had been extremely poor. Peter Vardy were very welcoming.
The salesman was Gary McLiesh and he was very helpful in explaining the different models of car I wanted. He explained everything in detail and I didn't feel that he was pushing anything on us.
