“First time I have used peter Vardy to purchase my car. First initial phone call to enquire about the car was with a call centre, Jenna couldn't be more help full. She arranged the appointment with the Perth branch which once in branch the salesman could not do enough to sort the best deal for us. Unfortunately the salesman was Ill at the point of handover so another manager stepped in. He was very helpful and explained everything clearly. The gift they gave us for buying the car was a nice touch. The car had a small mark on the paintwork which they have arranged to fix for us with no problems. Still waiting on private no plate for the car but dvla controls waiting time on this. I'm sure the very high level of service will continue until everything is completed. “Buying the car was a great experience. Paul Johnstone was really professional and is a very customer focused. He is an asset to your company.
However, my car was recalled today. I called Vauxhall, Seafield, Edinburgh. Firstly I was told I could drive the car. This was against the advice of the Vauxhall website.
I then received a very insensitive text from the rep that handed my car over to me. Not Paul.
I called her and asked her to recheck if I should drive the car. She checked with her boss and I was advised not to drive the car. I was given a number to call, tried it until 1400 hrs and it was not available for calls.
So I went on the website, printed the advice and followed the instructions and found that the "cardan joint number" advised to look for in fact is not a number on the recall.
I am nearly 50, found myself lying on the floor of my car looking for this number, having been completely stressed out all day.
It really upset me that Peter Vardy Vauxhall could not have offered advice, when I called them this morning.
I bought my first new Vauxhall in 2000/2001, another new car in 2009, get all my services and work done by Vauxhall, but feel really let down today.
I only picked up my new car last. Saturday.

“Bought a "crackin lookin car" from peter vardy. They assured me that the car is in perfect condition and they were the second owner(They werent!!) Car was after the bad accident. So i checked the HPI it was fine. When I come back to them they says that they have some (over 100) safety check points and this car match all of them and its in perfect condition and they can paint the car fo me but i will need to pay for it!!! So before you buy a car from peter vardy MAKE SURE ITS NO AFTER THE CAR ACCIDENT. Very disappointed!!”
