“Absolute disaster.
GP issued prescription.
P2U website (logged in to my account) showed "Everything's on track - waiting for GP" for over 2 weeks. Complete and utter rubbish. The surgery had issued the repeat prescription and it was sat on the NHS spine waiting for P2U to pull it down.
They blamed everybody else when I eventually got through on Livechat.
You cannot call them - they are always too busy. You are told they will call you back within 3 hours: they don't. You just get a "sorry about that" when you complain.
Don't bother with them - Boots are great and always helpful.”
“Utterly awful. Was forced to use pharmacy2u after using the wonderful Lloyd's app for a couple of years. Not only is Pharmacy2u's website and app not fit for purpose, it's impossible to get a prescription in a timely manner. They take forever to process and send. At least with Lloyd's I could request a barcode immediately so I could go to a pharmacy instead. Honestly, if you're contemplating using them, just don't, save yourself the hassle.”
“For the second time my order delayed. I’m disabled and was told I could cancel my order and collect at a pharmacy. They do not phone back. Since they took over Lloyds Direct all my orders have either been delayed or they had run out of medication. I’m leaving them the moment my present order arrives. My advice to everyone is do not use Pharmacy 2U.

“AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
TERRIBLE! I waited 2 days for my prescription, they've not even posted it, then I tried to get it cancelled and released so I can pickup locally and they said "sorry it's in the final stages of dispatch". The phone system says they are too busy and they will call you back within 3 hours. The live chat is too busy so you need to submit a ticket.”
“Like everyone thought sounded sensible, saving the trips to the pharmacy weather, unavailability etc. Guess what the this shower are worse!
Im now chatting with colleagues at BMA about changed meds etc without consultation General business practices suggest that they some tie up with Fujitsu and Post Office counters....
Its commercial organisation so we expect to look out for being screwed some were down the line but this mob are dangerous. Fortunately my MP lives locally..t heir practices need scrutiny.”
“They need to fix their website.
I moved from Lloyds Direct and I did not have any problems logging into my account with that company. In fact, I have no problems logging into any website apart from pharmac2u.
In simple terms, it for the last few weeks, it is impossible to login in first time. It takes a few attempts during the day. It still occurs after the common trouble shooting attempts. This problem occurs on multiple browsers and even after clearing the cookie cache and allowing pop-ups and redirets.
With the IT knowledge that I possess the the cause of the problem is either the Session Cookie or simply an over capacity issue on their server.
When this happens it is usually a sign that a shoddy company is not maintaining its website.
Hopefully, pharmacy2u will read this review and sort out the problem. The company will lose customers if this annoying and stressful logging-in problem continues. At he very least, if it is a server over-capacity issue, perhaps a message can be displayed on screen telling customers.
I will give them another 2 orders and if the website is still broken in two months I will move to the Boots online delivery service.”
“Sadly all the 1 star reviews are genuine this company is a joke, a great idea but run by inexperienced people, they even have an AI help line which is utterly useless.”
“My prescription was spit over 2 weeks ago as they did not have one of my medications. The. part they did not have arrived last week, the rest of my medication (vital things like asthma inhalers) have not arrived!!! Everyday I check my account and everyday the delivery date gats further away. This is dreadful service - lack of the correct medication could end in someone's death.”
“I was unwillingly switched to Pharmacy2U from LloydsDirect following their merger. Unfortunately, the Pharmacy2U app is markedly inferior to the LloydsDirect one, being both slower to access and less informative. For example, it does not give detailed information about individual medications (stock status, expected wait times, etc).
More seriously, if a medication is out of stock, Lloyds used to give you the initial choice as to whether to wait (dispatching in-stock items first) or to release the full prescription so you could take it to another pharmacy. If you instead wanted a different substitution, you could opt to call your GP.
Pharmacy2U instead automatically contacts the GP for an alternative and only tells you afterwards, and you then have the hassle of calling Pharmacy2U (and waiting for a ringback!) to arrange the prescription release instead. Also, this creates extra unnecessary work for the GP in reviewing Pharmacy2U's unnecessary alteration request as it is only their supplier that is out of stock, not other pharmacies.
I have asked Pharmacy2U to delete my account as I will be switching to a different provider in light of this poorly designed customer experience pathway and the inferior app.”
“My doctor approved my prescription a week ago and it's still not here. I'm awaiting a call back, 2 days later I still havent had it. I've had to go and get an emergency prescription as I get very poorly without my medication. I've tried to cancel my account now which is also proving impossible. I would avoid this company.”
“Terrible service!!!! Page doesn't work, bots certainly don't and cannot even get my list of meds correct no matter how many times i call them, chat to their bot or try and change it. Tel often not working and just refers you to bot. When finally through I had a horrible conversation with one of their staff 18th July when a woman told me "Well, if you cannot be bothered to go to the Dr's to correct repeat prescription list, then you cannot have meds!!!!" after I told her that I was disabled & had everything delivered !!! How rude is that. They couldn't care less about anyone !!! I'm on valium, many medication and anti-depressants but thinking of quitting all as I cannot fight this lot and fed up with soooooo many other chemists. It's not worth it !!!”
“Absolutely terrible service. I've now been waiting two weeks, and still no medication. I have no tablets left. I can't get hold of anyone - either email, phone or online chat. My money's been taken, but still no prescription. I just don't know who to turn to now. There's only one phone number and it just says that there's no one to answer my call. I wish I could give no stars.”
“I've hardly ever had even part of my prescriptions delivered on time. They offer split orders but then deny those. So far impossible to contact them via email.”
“I've waited for weeks to get hold of my medication, and when I speak to the GP they have said the fault is with Pharmacy2U. The automated line either hangs up, or, if I do get a call back hours later, I get condescending call handlers implying it's because I don't know how to use software. The system still says the order is pending GP approval, but the GP says it's with Pharmacy2U. I'm left completely out of medication and no where to turn.
I would urge caution using this provider, the service I'd had so far has been terrible, the online service barely useable and, as a tech savvy 30-something, that's really saying something!”
“PLEASE PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM PHARMACY2U, THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE WHAT YOU PAY FOR. CUSTOMER SERVICES ARE A JOKE, ONLINE CHAT IS USELESS, YOU WONT REACH ANYONE BY PHONE AND EMAIL WILL GO NO WHERE. I DOMT UNDERSTAND HOW THE GPC REGULATES OR LICENSES THEM ITS BEYOND A JOKE AND SOMETHING MUST BE DONE. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER REPUTABLE PHARMACY BECAUSE THIS ONE IS NOT IT.”
“Took my money and deleted my order. The website boasts of amazing customer service and offers call backs. Fake! You try calling, go through verification, and - get disconnected as "all the advisors are currently busy". Also, I found out the company was fined for selling details of their customers. Why are they still operating??!! If I knew I wouldn't have had registered”
