I've bought two phones so far and all transactions have gone smoothly.

I went Phones 4U as they were able to offer several network providers as my signal with Tesco mobile at my home was poor. I was advised that EE would be much better and therefore I switched to them. However now with EE I often don't have any connection at all so therefore I was wrongly advised and sold.

Hi John, Thanks for your post! I'm really sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems with your signal. At point of sale we will check your postcode with your chosen network, as this does give us an idea of what the signal will be like. I can see that with EE it is showing as good signal for your area. What I would advise is speaking to EE to run more in depth signal checks for your area. If there is no improvement, then you can speak with them to see if they do any sort of signal booster box. I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused. Many Thanks, Sam.

Good price with a reasonable customer service. There are times when you get an advisor who does not appear to be interested when asking questions about the phones (especially as you are not looking for one with a price plan) but come back another time and find another assistant who would love to help you. Love the Click and Collect service but wondering how accessible this will be in light of Curry's merger with Carphone Warehouse. Yes I will buy from them again.

My PUK code transfer from vodafone to EE is an absolute disaster, and I can't help but take this out on phones4u also. 2 and a half weeks without functioning incoming calls or outgoing or incoming texts.

Hello Neil. Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry to hear that the transfer of your number has not been as smooth as it could be. When transferring your number from one network provider to another, this is a process that Phones 4u don't complete. It is done completing by the 2 networks themselves, if it us that you have moved to EE then I would advise speaking to them in regards to getting the number activated. I am sorry for the inconvenience and delay. Thanks, Sam.

I was given several pieces of information about how long it would take for my new phone to activate, so I followed what the on line help section said, which said phone if over 24 hours have elapsed, only to be told it would be up to 4 working days. Irritated by the conflciting information, and also I think it should be made clear up front there will be a significant delay, as I would have purchased elsewhere.

Hi Phil, Thanks for your post! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience and delay that has been caused with the connection of your new upgrade. I understand that you have since spoken with a member of our Customer Service Team and they confirmed the process and timescales, as it was an upgrade you should still have had access to your old Sim Card. Thank you for providing us with your feedback on this, I will make sure it is passed on for future consideration. Thanks, Sam.

Saw phone on website but went to local store as my daughter's phone had broken and wanted it quickly, store told me phone had been dis-continued and website was out of date, orders it 1 hours later on phone and arrived 2 days later. Store just wanted to sell me another more expensive phone through them and not the website. Don't go into stores and ask as you don't get the truth. (Wrexham store based in Currys by the way)

I bought a phone on contract for my daughter, I asked could there be some sort of block put on it so she did not run up a huge bill. The answer was no she just needed to turn something off on her phone and she would use the household wifi. A larger than expected bill arrived for her first payment so I again rang up and asked if there could be some sort of block on and the advisor again said no. The next month the bill was £60+ and I rang again very upset, the advisor said she could this time block my daughter from using the internet and she could only use the available wifi. I wanted to know why she could do this but the previous advisors could not, she said she could not answer for other peoples actions. I emailed twice a complaint letter and both times received an email saying someone would get back to me, no one ever did. I was most upset as I'm not on a high paid job and only agreed with my daughter to take the contract out if the bill was low. I would not recommend your services to someone else. I can imagine I will hear nothing back from this also but if you care to my address is karenb2503@hotmail.co.uk

Purchased contract phone galaxy s5. Was told I didn't need to do a thing and I could keep my number and wouldn't need to set up voice mail. My old phone simple went dead half a day before my new phone arrived, being self employed this means I probably lost business. When the new phone arrived I put new sim in and thought great. Couple of days went by. Thought it strange I had no voice mail. Checked to find it no longer was active. So I recorded a new message as the original one wasn't their as I was told it would be. Thought great couple of days later still no messages. Then I checked from another phone to find it still didn't work. Had to phone them up to find they needed to activate it their end. Finally voicemail sorted and probably a few jobs lost. A month later i get a letter saying im in debt for non payment. How? I gave them all dorect debit info etc.. was told it would be done automatically. Another call tp sort this out. Few months later I get a letter saying the insurance I took out for the phone is invalid because I have not made any payments. How? The money going out for the insurance was showing on my bank statement they had been taking it. Another call they said sorry it was a mistake. So I cancelled the insurance. My advice don't bother with them.

Really not happy with Phones4U! I took out a fairly pricey deal for and iPhone 5s on an EE contract because they offered £100 cash back via a deal my company offered through rewardsgateway.co.uk. Now, 3 months down the line, Phones4U have refused to honour this, with no reason given. Suffice it to say I feel totally ripped off and will not be sticking around when my lock-in expires!

My last visit to arena resulted in me falling down the concrete stairs due to the stairs being wet and nobody from the arena has contacted myself to make sure i was okay or apologise for the injuries that resulted from the fall. The lids need to stay on drink so they are not spilt everywhere !!!! The arena needs refurbishing and re flooring badly !

So we were told they would pay off our contract but they didn't. The bill came through with an extra £90. We went into the store and wr were told they would refund it to us. After two weeks of being fobbed off that they would get back to us in a few days we visited the store again. We were told they could not deal with it in store and had to contact their head office. We called them from the store and we were told they could not deal with it at the moment and we would have to wait a few days as they were unaware if they or orange would refund us, even though phones 4 u made the mistake. We were shown no empathy in the store or by the customer services at head office. This was almost £100. To rub salt into the wound when we went back in we found out that we missed out on getting a free smart watch too. This was disgraceful service!

Initially agreed to a contract with 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb of data but when my first bill arrived it showed I was only entitled to 250 minutes. Queried this with my network first who told me no such tariff existed so should not have been sold to me. Spoke to phones4u who said this information is incorrect and they would get back to me within 24 hours. Nearly 6 months later I am still waiting for that phone call. my recent bills show this issue has been fixed but it would be nice to have received confirmation. Also less than a week after I received my phone/contract the same deal was advertised again but with a better phone.

Hi Rachel, Thanks for your review! I've located your account and I can see that we sent a copy of your tariff agreement across to the network to be amended. I am so sorry about this and the inconvenience that has been caused, I can see that this has now been resolved and updated with the network for you. Many Thanks, Sam.
