I shop with phones4u because the 1st time I was served there 4 years ago, it was so easy. They listened to what I needed, were so friendly and didn't push the latest phone on me. It turned out it was the manager. Each time I use you for an upgrade I get even better service. My last upgrade, Head Office phoned me and explained I could upgrade 2 months earlier than my early upgrade, I got the phone I wanted free of charge, the next day for a better deal, and even paid for me to leave O2. I recommend you to anyone and everyone! :)

The service so far has been really great, good deals on good phones and so forth. They called me before my last contract expired and gave me exactly what I wanted and more. I do however have only 2 issues that very seriously needs to be addressed by these guys and it is as follows. My new contract ended up being with EE, moving over from O2 because its the provider with whom I could get a better deal, however, after being assured that I had reception where I live, now that I actually have the phone I'm finding that yes, I have reception, but it sucks to say the least, and the 4G is just as bad, great when I have signal and it works, but its unreliable. In short, random fluctuation between zero to two bars of bloody signal and random changes between 4G and everything does not count as any kind of acceptable reception. You guys need to seriously get right on top of this if you're going to recommend and provider to anyone, this is a most basic a requirement for a phone and a really stupid mistake to make. Second is that my recent package came with a free Galaxy Tab. Yeah, stuff for free is nice, but this tablet is actually useless and it sits in its packaging in my drawer, never to be used that I might as well have not even received one in the first place. To give someone such a tablet when they are purchasing something like a Galaxy S5 phone is a really silly thing to do because the phone itself makes the tablet totally redundant, the smart thing is to properly match up device qualities if you're going to do such promotions, even if it costs a little bit more. Clearly someone who is willing to get the latest thing out as soon as it hits the shelves with the associated costs getting latest gear doesn't mind it so much, or at least give one the option between various items or something. Also, I had to chase Phones4Uu twice in order to get this delivered, it would appear that they totally forgot about it or something. This would have have been a 5 star review were it not for these two issues.

Hi Morgan, Thanks for your post! It's great to hear that when you've contacted us that we've been able to find the best deal for you! In regards to your signal, we will complete a signal check at point of sale using the signal checkers provided by the network. This then gives us a guideline of what you're signal will be like in your area. If you are experiencing problems with your signal then I would advise speaking to EE directly as they can complete a more in depth check for your area. If after completing these checks you're still experiencing problems, then it may be worth speaking to them to see if they do any signal booster boxes that may help. I'm sorry to hear that you had to chase your free gift of a Tab with us, these are usually sent out within 28 days of receiving your new phone. The promotions that we run alongside some contracts are a free gift and they are subject to availability and change. If you are experiencing any problems with your Tab then please speak to the manufacturer directly about this so that they can take a look. We will of course take all of your feedback on board and make sure it is fed back and considered in future. Many Thanks, Sam.

great service - very speedy My only complaint is that there is no requirement to enter one's DOB in order to pay online. Since one inputs ALL Card details , address etc etc. inputting a GENUINE DOB as well is a security risk. All they need to know is that you are over 18.

I received the worst service of my life from phones. 4 u n would nvr shop there again. I took out a sim only contract that nvr worked. I spent hours on end trying to resolve the problem n hours in one of the stores. Phones for u continued to bill me and wrote to me saying my credit rating would b effected if I didn't pay . When they were n breach of contract and would not terminate the contract.

Superb first-time experience. The website was easy to use and understand. The delivery was very quick. I called the helpline to ask a set-up question and was dealt with in a very competent and pleasant way. Well done to all.

I had renewed 3 phone contracts and I was happy with the first two but on the last one I did not receive my code for the free addidas trainers. Made costly phone calls to sort it out which they said they would do. But just got an email today saying that I wouldn't be able to get them now...Very poor show... Mr A.Knighton

Staff was good, but a little slow to attend to you when in the shop. I had a query with my Galaxy S5 and they was a bit unsure (no surprised the phone had just come out ). Still they tried, but overall not bad.

I will never use phones for you again, and would urge anyone looking to take out a contract phone, do it direct with the service provider, although deals may be better with phones4u the after service once you have your phone is utter trash. Phones that go wrong in a matter of weeks will need to be sent away to their offices to be checked, then and only then can they send you a replacement. Can take up to 14 days!!! Companies like O2 and EE directly, they send a courier with a replacement phone, and exchange on the doorstep within 2 days. I will never use them again, nor would I ever recommend such a shoddy company.

I was completely ripped off. I was offered a buy out of my old contract in return of a new contract. 4 months later phones 4 u didn't buy out my old contract so now I'm left paying for two £35 contracts as a student. I tried contacting phones 4 U to sort it out but they didn't give a damn and made it all out to be my fault. I personally feel conned by the company but obviously I can't do anything about it because of their quick, sly small print that they mutter out several times during the phone call. So in my opinion never use phones 4 u, never contact anyone from phones 4 u because they just want your money and nothing else. I'd recommend using a more Intelligent, friendly phone company instead of theses c**** P.s to prevent anyone else getting the same issues I'm going to develop a contract comparison site which will contain nothing from phones 4 u

Hi Richard, Thanks for posting! I'm so sorry that you've not been able to set up the Sky Sports application that you're entitled to. As far as I'm aware if you contact Vodafone they should be able to talk you through the steps in which to set this up. What we will do is investigate this for you further and find out the steps in which you need to take to get this all set up. Again I am so sorry for the delay and time this has taken, we will be in touch via email within 48 working hours. Many Thanks, Sam.
