“Very amazing product for transforming your iPhone into a portable gaming machine. I would have given this 5 stars if it was compatible with my phone while it has the case on but since I own the iPhone 13 Pro Max I was lucky to at least get an adapter that helps secure it onto the device without the case. Also, if you’re used to playing games with a controller then playing shooters and driving games will take some adjusting because it’s like using Nintendo switch joy-cons. Lastly, and this is aimed towards Apple and game developers but AppStore arcade games should have more remote compatibility and furthermore should allow you to remap the buttons. An example of this is Slaughter 3, a game I was really excited to play with nice textures graphics wise but when I tried playing with the backbone on I still had to touch the screen to interact with the environment because there was no button and for whatever odd reason the aim button was the Y button so I could either aim or move the camera and as a shooting game that is unacceptable.”

“This is my second backbone purchase in four months. The first was for me, which I loved. It sounds trite but it is definitely a game changer. Now I just get mad at the games not supporting the controller when it makes perfect sense for their game. The second purchase is for my son for Xmas. He has tried mine so I know he will love it. Thanks so much for such an excellent product!”

“The controller is great. I'm enjoying using it on COD mobile. But the Xbox part leaves a lot to be desired. You have to work it through a web browser so the image isn't great and it's really hard to navigate. I swear I had to sign into a Microsoft account 7 times before getting anywhere. The design is great though and I love how seamlessly it connects to my iphone.”

“It’s good device. The only complaint I have is while playing COD mobile, the aim is off. After calibration it’s still the same. A lot of games compatible with the backbone are not released yet on the game cloud beta so it’s very limited to what you can play. Overall I would recommend this device to someone.”

“Y'all don't know hard it is to pick out a controller for a phone. Well, at least with iOS, the backbone was the right choice. The quality of the build is superb, doesn't feel like a phone attachment. Everything is crisp, clean, works as it should. Bought it for the wife so she can play Genshin switch style. She couldn't be happier. Thanks! Received 9 days after purchase.”

“It’s a great controller but it feels very flimsy and delicate. All of a sudden my first one randomly lost control of the left side. They got me a replacement pretty quickly and they also threw in the Game Pass Ultimate with my replacement as well. Talk about customer service!”

“I’ve enjoyed backbone so far. It works great on items I’ve found, but I wish Xbox game pass had better functionality. This obviously has nothing to do with backbone but cloud gaming still feels really awful. My only complaint about the backbone itself would be to include the iPhone 13 pro max adapter by default in the future, but I did buy the backbone right when iPhone 13 came out so it’s understandable that it wasn’t available yet.”
