“The backbone controller is one of the best mobile device controllers I have tried. As far as build quality it’s great, and the fact that you can now get the adapter for the larger iPhones is great. I love the included app that works great with the button on the controller. It really is a great product”

“Purchased my Backbone from Amazon, as the Amazon description said the Backbone is now compatible with iPhone 14 Pro Max via an included updated adapter. However, it shipped with an adapter that was not compatible with iPhone 14 Pro Max. Ordered an updated free adapter from Backbone website, and after receiving it a couple weeks later, the iPhone 14 Pro Max camera lens still touches the Backbone. I am still waiting on a response from Backbone on if I need yet another adapter to try and fix this. No complaints about the Backbone itself, and the app is fantastic, however it has been a poor experience getting it to fit correctly, and as advertised, with an iPhone 14 Pro Max.”

“Awesome product for sure but I think that when someone goes to purchase the controller they should have a question to choose what type of device they have that way it can be shipped with the adapter”

“Good product? However two flaws adapter barely fixed anything. Feels like it fall out still, isn’t a completed flush and that’s with no case. And then second flaw is having to reconnect for a different game.”

“The hardware is good but it still doesn’t quite fit the new iPhones. The adapter helps but it’s not perfect. Additionally, the free trial for backbone plus seems to have gone from 1 free year to only 1 free month. Why? Now I get less value”

“I enjoy using it for my mobile games. I mostly play mobile games on it and sometimes Xbox Game Pass games on it. Just wish the controller was a bit bigger but thats fine.”

“So far I am loving this product works really well with PS app and other games that support controller haven’t had any issues other then every now and then having to reset the backbone app because it got stuck in a sub menu. Overall really love the product”

“The backbone is a great device; many games are much more enjoyable with joysticks and buttons, also I lost the original adapter that came with the device, and the company has a system in place to sell a replacement free of charge, I was really impressed and grateful.”

“The device is perfect and works awesomely. You’ll need the adapter if you have a new iPhone 14 promax my only problem with it is that the camera still rubs on the plastic but the controller does the job ad is a great control.”
