“I started off LOVING JJ & felt that way till the last couple of months. The HUGE amount.of advertising is dreadful. Replaying a chapter for 2-3 days is uttering boring. The owners of the game are ONLY interested in making as much money in the quickest time possible. I've always had the view point in life that loyalty is rewarded, regretfully it's NOT Playtika's philosophy ....MONEY/GREED”

“Changes made to June's Journey since Playtika bought it are spoiling the game for many. They are motivated by greed and wanting loyal players to spend more and more money. Sure it's a "free" game but there are plenty of ads to watch so you can proceed which bring in millions in ad revenue of course so players are already cntirbuting to Playtika's profits. Bad strategy as players are boycotting or leaving the game altogether!”

“We won't play JJ because we won't have resources for that. A game should give an opportunity to be played. But how shall we do it, if we can't? It's ok to earn money, but on something additional, not crucial. Diamonds are crucial in the game, we can't play without them.”

“Junes journey has thousands of bad reviews regarding game changes designed to further squeeze the pockets of players. All correct. My review is directly related to their social media mods deleting comments they don’t like! Totally indicative of a company that doesn’t care.”

“Playtika have made several retrograde changes to June’s Journey. They have removed the certainty of receiving diamonds from gift bushes being replaced with bushes that *might* give diamonds or something else entirely. The weekly Detective League prizes have been downgraded and no longer have diamonds at all except for the first week. Competition prizes have been downgraded over the last year as well. Diamonds are a core resource in the game and any reduction in their numbers has an adverse effect on gameplay. Additionally, Playtika does not offer players equal opportunities - algorithms decide if a player receives a very expensive offer (AU$159.99 that includes 2500 diamonds plus a decor item or snippet pack) or a very reasonable offer (AU$6.99 that includes the same decor item or snippet pack but only 100 diamonds). Their logic is that the high offer is better value and is offered only to their higher spending customers. It takes forever to reshape your algorithm to receive cheaper offers if you’ve ever made the mistake of buying bulk diamonds. Finally there are at least 2 different rewards algorithms for the new gift bushes, so while some players may have a 70% chance of receiving diamonds from a purple smokebush, other unlucky players will only have a 15% chance of diamonds. Additionally the coin payout on that bush is 100 coins, yet it cost your teammate 300 coins to give it to you. Lucky players only have an 8% chance of the coins, but unlucky players have a 35% chance. These unfair tactics engender a lot of ill will towards Wooga/Playtika, because we feel unvalued as customers, and we feel we are just cash cows in the way they treat us. June’s Journey used to be a wonderful game before Playtika took over.”

“Message to anyone considering this game - June's Journey. Be prepared to spend $$$$ in addition to having to watch endless ads. WOOGA and Playtika have taken away the best parts of the game. This latest NON improvement of taking away the only source of reliable resources, which makes play possible is unacceptable. WOOGA Bring back the OLD bush system!”

“I'll never give them a penny again. They have take monitization to an ugly extreme. Every last benefit, reward, bones, prize etc has been shrunk to peanuts or completely removed since Playtika went public in January 2021. The latest cut of removing bushes has players around the world livid for days now with no end in sight. Players live on pins and needles daily waiting for the next installment of greed from this company. Unless Playtika reverses this Bush change and stops being greedy on this level, I expect 2022 to be Wooga's worst year financially. Long term dedicated players have had ENOUGH!”

“June's Journey used to be great. NOT ANYMORE! Developers have gotten greedy and made it VERY expensive. Be prepared to spend to real $$. Considering the HUGE number of endless ads, after every play, the least WOOGA could do is allow this reliable and not overly generous source of resources to be available. Bring back the OLD and reliable bush gifting system. Allow this game to be played by anyone willing to watch the ads.”

“Greedy, grasping company that haven't a clue how to treat their customers. June's Journey was a lovely relaxing game that they turned into a gambling machine and unpaid job. They give crumbs with one hand and take back the whole cake with the other. The more you spend with them, the more they hike the prices. I get vastly different offers on two games because I spend on one and not the other. Well this customer has done paying for anything now.”
