“I returned a pair of pants as they did not fit after trying them on for less than 2 minutes. When they received the pants they refused to refund due to the pants being “dirty with black stains all over and no tag included”. They sent them back to me. Upon inspection, the pants are SPOTLESS, no marks whatsoever and the tag was included in the return bag. I called again only for them to change their story. This time they claim it was denied because the pants were covered in pet hair (we have no pets), smelled funny and the tag was included but detached from pants. I didn’t even mention that I paid for expedited shipping only to receive them nearly 3 weeks later”

“Beware of sweaters that say hand wash on label. Maya is the argumentative woman that complains go to. She’s useless to the customer. Manipulate and unhelpful. Felt like I was deal with a used car salesman. Now they simply put artificial reviews on line with nothing lower than four stars. Save the catalog paper. You’ve lost a customer. You still haven’t fixed your “handwashing “ problem. You are not a well oiled machine. Another company focused on only money. & Maya, kiss my donkey you misappropriated sad little person.”

“My daughter from the Netherlands ordered a Mothers day gift for me from Poetry online. First it weren’t giftwrapped woth tissue paper, giftbox and message card as ordered. Secondly, 2 of the products are damaged, and it the damage wasnt caused during the shipment. The 2 products were already damged when they were packed. I can’t believe the quality of service we receive these day from these stores!!!! And it seems they justo dont care!!!”

“Customer service, well there isn’t any at all. The advisor I spoke to called Maya was extremely unhelpful, rude and unprofessional. Avoid this company. The lady was so rude and instead of listening my concern she was being very difficult.”

“I just received the Spring Summer 2024 Poetry catalog - which was totally unsolicited. Photos show clothing items that appear to be cheaply made, with no thought to forward design and made with fabrics that will not stand the test of time. Suggest that you review your audience prior to sending catalogs.”

“If you like cheap fabrics and poorly made clothing that doesn’t fit and is way over priced these are the folks fir you. If they fail to send your entire order, they will ask for pictures of what you received and are very slow to give refunds. You have to keep flogging them to get satisfaction. In short not recommended.”

“received a gift that I didn't care for and wrong size. Could not exchange except for same item, in different color or size, even though I wanted to purchase something more expensive Also could not do an even exchange without refunding original payment and re billing months later, when available. Just too difficult without involving the 96yo gift giver.”

“Don’t buy from here. I placed an order over a month ago and haven’t received any Updates on the items I purchased. I have also tried to contact them which you can only do via email, no responses. I’ve tried twice. Must be running a scam”

“US EXCLUDED FROM SEASONAL SALES Currently there is a Summer Sale on the UK website for 30% off. Just looking at one item , using the conversion from pound to dollar, it was a couple of dollars last to begin with, $97 It is, now, $60 on the UK site. It is still $99 on the US website. I called to ask about it and was told that US citizens cannot order from the UK website and the US citizens do not get the seasonal sales. There are many items on sale now on the UK website and the website includes a number of items not available in the US.”

“I know this company does not care what costumer write about them. As other costumers says after you order and click submit nothing happened. US costumers would like to see “ thank you for your order”☹️After 10 days of your purchase you still do not get any thing from this company. Unreliable company.”

“The web site is not working, we cannot order from it. And when I used the phone to order the person on the other side did not answer. I would have love to shop with you but I stop trying. The employees seem to run the show. I want to underline that I am talking about Poetry Fashion”

“First of all warning - order at least one size smaller - clothes come up very big. Secondly I ordered (and kept) a pair of crinkle trousers with button on ankle and drawstring waist approx. 2 months ago. They have become a very expensive unwearable pair of trousers. They have stretched to at least a size 22 (from an 18) hugely baggy on bum - keep dunking them in water to shrink back - but half an hours wear and they are back to being huge. So in future will give Poetry a miss”

“ATTN overseas Poetry customers: Stay away. Poetry will not make good on its own mistakes with sizing. It will not pay your return shipping. Dealing with them will cost you money. They will give you a lecture about how they are a UK brand so obviously they are going to send UK sizes, and point you to the return policy saying overseas customers must pay their own return shipping. That's based on them GETTING THE ORDER RIGHT. Which they did not, twice in a row for me. The first time, I thought, ok -- I don't think I ordered the wrong size but I paid $50 in return shipping. I hand-wrote on the receipt that I wanted an exchange for the correct UK size. They paid for the shipping the second time -- and sent me the same wrong size again. They now will not correct this second mistake by paying the return shipping. They should not market for overseas customers if they cannot handle the sizing discrepancy and the customer service required. Stay away.”

“Poor return policy & the linen-silk fabric does not wear well: My husband purchased two (2) scoop-neck, linen, T-shirts. The return policy clearly says that ONCE THE TAGS ARE REMOVED IT CAN NO LONGER BE RETURNED. Thus, I left the tags on and tried on the T-shirt. Since I loved the color and drape, I then took off the tags. I wore one of T-shirts twice (2!) - for a few hours each - and the fabric already shows pilling. I haven't even washed it yet! A great company has a "return for a full refund within xx days if you are not 100% satisfied." This is not that company. We will not be shopping here again. Last but not least, Poetry sent us an email asking that we review our purchase/product. I gave them 1 star and wrote the above review. I hit "send" but the review would not load. It's as if the company put a "stop" on any review that didn't meet their "standard." Wow! Thank you!”

“On Friday, April 30th I tried to order over $1,000 but nothing happened when I click the "submit the order" button. I keep emailing them but no response and it's been 5 days. It feels like they are out of business.”

“I am a regular customer - or was..... now living in the USA. I ordered over £500 worth of clothing on March 30th. I tracked my parcel to Memphis then it disappeared. I have emailed and phoned poetry but got no response. I am very disappointed by their poor customer service. Are they still in business as the silence is deadly.”

“Just ordered a denim jacket that I really liked. Ordered my regular size 12 and it must have been a size 18! I called customer service and was told I should return item and needed a size 8. I couldn’t exchange the item, only return it for a $6 return charge. I’d already paid $15 for postage and just noticed on my cc bill that there was a $7 international charge. I called yesterday to order the smaller size and was told it was back ordered until August. So I’m out $28 and no jacket. Very disappointing.”
