“Poshmark recently lowered the seller fees a little but now they have added a new buyers fee for the protection service they used to provide for free! I'm in the process of moving all my listing over to Mercai!”

“Pish and their slippery ways if increasing buyers fees is horrible. They popped these new dees in without any prior notifications into buyers. Example , a 30 dollar purchase will end you up with a $42 dollar bill. People who car what they are being charged by posh should be very care. Slipper slope on posh”

“Their new fee structure is absolutely horrible and will now heavily impact sellers and buyer alike. I spend thousands of dollars as a buyer and have thousands in sales on the platform, I will no longer be using it anymore to conduct business”

“I bought in good faith 1 oair or Levi's Men's jeans Khaki 34x30. I received the item, tried to wear it, could not fit. Right away I knew that the jeans is a counterfeit one made in China. I sent the request to Poshmart Support to sak for instructions on how to return the item and get a refund. The Poshmart Community Team denied my request saying that I should have verified before buying ??? I believe this site promotes counterfeit products from China. Do business with this company at your own risk !”

“The person I bought the dress from put the measurements but it was in no way the size she stated. It was only $24 but when I asked Poshmark about returns they made it sound like I was trying to return a car or house or that they was the possibility a criminal act was committed. The proof they asked for was ridiculous. They denied my return. The dress was a M not XL!”

“I ordered used shoes for $128. Not sure why the hotel I was staying rejected the package. The seller never contacted me. A month later, I have no shoes, no money back. The customer service said, "we don't recommend you to ask your money back because it will build bad relationship." I did nothing wrong! The Postal Service called me back saying the package was delivered back to sender. I raised the issue with them and PayPal. The seller never bothered to contact me back. Poshmark customer service deny everything.”

“I somehow made and accidental purchase when my phone was in my pocket and only discovered it after I got off work. Because it was 3 hours after the sale and the buyer had shipped it, Poshmark refused to allow me to return it unopened upon reciept with postage paid by me as I requested. Their response was to parrot the standard policy and say "accidental purchase is not a basis for a return". Amazon could teach them a great deal! They are unable of using critical thinking skills to apply reasonable judgement. Beware. Mine was only a $165 purchase, yours could be more.”

“The seller never shipped the item I purchased! Over a week later I asked for tracking #s and she forgot she gave them to her sister! Very poor service. Now it will take weeks to get my money back. Needs to have a place you can leave reviews on sellers!!!”

“This is one of the worst resale platforms cost-wise out there. THEY CHARGE WAY TOO MUCH WHEN YOU MAKE A SALE! Many people list items then ignore or get locked out of their account...for years! So you may buy something and the seller never responds to the sale. Then after holding your money for a week they will finally return it. I stopped selling anything and was only buying on this platform because I can sell on others for so much less. There is no apparent way to message a seller except to comment on the item itself, which I found rarely get answers. They need a reliable messaging system! Even though it will say the seller was last active on their account "an hour ago", I rarely get questions answered...at all. I have found things I would like to purchase but the seller hasn't been active on their account in months or even years! Why aren't they temporarily deactivated so you cannot see what they have listed if there has been no activity on their account in say, 6 months or so? It's frustrating. Their app and computer based sites are also not intuitive. You can either sort by "your size" or "All Sizes". What if I'm looking for something for someone else? I have to go in and change what sizes I have set up for myself, then change them back, unless I want to sort through "All Sizes". While I have been lucky with most of the items I've purchased, I now only go to Poshmark if I am looking for something I absolutely want and can't find ANYWHERE else on the internet! Their site is also slow and glitchy, and there is often issues with refresh and loading items. I don't have this problem with any of the other sites I use. They are the worst, in my opinion.”

“This platform allows sellers to mis advertise items and is seller biased. There have been several times I have purchased items that arrive with odors, stains, etc that were not mentioned in the item descriptions. When I renting this up to customer service they make it an unrealistic burden to justify my dissatisfaction only to keep the money I pay in holding eventually releasing the funds within 48 hours of my complaint. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE as there are NO BUYER PROTECTIONS IN PLACE and more often than not YOU OVERPAY FOR GARBAGE!!!”

“They fill my email with spam every single day and the problem is that I erased the app and forgot the password and I can’t even use the forgot my password option because the recovery mail never appears and to contact customer support I need to log in, so its going to be virtually impossible to contact them to ask to be unsubscribed from their mail list or just to eliminate my account”

“i bought a pair of Prada shoes for $400. they arrived and look nothing like the photos. not to mention the seller just threw them in a used amazon prime box without any additional padding/ packaging to protect the $400 shoes. the leather was ruined with some sort of rainbow sheen?? the seller will not message me back. the shoes dont have a seriel number. the prada triangle doesnt even have real screw fasteners. extremely disappointing. i wish they would be more transparent and protect the buyers on this platform. why sell something counterfeit for such a high price?? i know i fell for the scam but at the same time, the buyer had a lot of positive reviews and i have never used poshmark before. i was genuinely excited and couldnt help myself. i have definitely learned my lesson.”

“Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered a pair of girls boots, and when they came, they were way off in sizing. The size I ordered should have been 10" from heel to toe on the sole, and the boots I got were only 8". When I asked for a return or customer service, I was told I should have asked more questions. Before I bought. REALLY???!!!!! Then, I saw I was out of luck, couldn't leave a review for the seller, couldn't escalate the case. I'm a first time user of the Poshmark app, and I will NEVER use it again. What a rip off for dishonest people who want to make money off of being deceptive with absolutely no recourse.”

“Poshmark always sides with sellers even when they are wrong. I purchased a pair of shoes described as "purple" the photos were definitely purple. When I received the shoes which still has the original tag on the bottom they were a dark cranberry. The tag listed the color as rich cranberry. While I wasn't seeking a refund because it's dang near impossible to get I left negative feedback which the seller disputed. Poshmark requested photos which I provided. I even provided a stock photo of the item from the brands website which showed my photo was accurate and sellers was way off. Posh sided with the seller even though I stayed I wasn't seeking a refund. They should hold their sellers responsible for photos that are clearly off as that should fall under item not as described. They started out as a fun site to buy on but after this last fiasco I'm through buying anything on there. At least their competitors are not color blind and care about the buyers a bit more than posh. It's ridiculous.”

“Poshmark has become overrun with scammers, aggressive sellers, and an unstructured marketplace. The mystery box sales and drawings are essentially forms of gambling, where participants are not guaranteed to receive anything of value. How are these items even shipped in such cases? This type of operation feels like a gamble, which raises serious legal and ethical concerns. The algorithm is highly biased, favoring certain users or behaviors for example aggresive sellers who use manipulation techniques that would not otherwise be allowed in a professional business who collects taxes. The platform is filled with sellers desperate to offload items at rock-bottom prices, devaluing brands and lowering the overall quality of the marketplace. Poshmark is rapidly becoming a spam-heavy, disorganized platform. Drawings should not exist in a platform where buyers pay taxes. Please relay. Customer service is notably, often responding with generic, auto-generated emails. It feels like the platform is turning into a gambling site rather than a resale community. The live shows are especially troubling, as sellers frequently employ tactics that resemble bribery, pressuring viewers to buy. Mystery boxes and drawings should be closely monitored during live shows for ethical violations, as they could be considered illegal gambling. There is alot of unprofessional and unethical activity on this platform especially for live shows. Again, Poshmark needs to be closely monitored for illegal activities, spammy behaviors, and the subliminal gambling activities especially with luxury live shows.”

“I sold an item and was asked to verify my banking information to receive the payment. They wanted to know how much was in my account to "verify" within seconds/minutes a charge was flagged on my bank account for almost the exact amount I told them was there. Then they were VERY pushy wanting me to ok the transaction with my bank, I got messages for over 30 minutes wanting me to ok the verification. Scam!!!”
