“I used to love Poshmark. But not sure what has happened, but since being sold to a foreign company, it's really gone downhill. Customer service is fine even though they are communicating with you at like midnight or 3am. But my main issue are the sellers, many of them seem really sketchy. Like myself, I like finding items from people's closets, items that are too good to just give away, so you try and sell them. I don't like the boutiques, but I also am not sure who I am buying from anymore, as the sellers don't use names, photos, and the mailing addresses are just random mailbox hubs in the middle of nowhere. I'm actually waiting for a refund for an item that was totally described wrong (size, everything), but once that transaction is complete, I'm deleting my account. I'll just try selling or buying my clothes at local consignment shops.”

“I ordered a vintage coach bag that I was excited to get but it never arrived. When I contacted Poshmark they assured me that everything was in order only to find out that the seller could not be reached. Eventually, Poshmark canceled my order and said they would issue a refund that would take over a month to show up in my bank account. If you are considering buying anything from Poshmark, run, don't walk away from that scam site.I will report to BBB.”

“I purchased an item on postmark. When the item arrived I had a very difficult time getting it to come on, I had to tap it on my table and wiggle the cord to get it to work. I unplugged it and it again, nothing. Tried it again the next morning and it was so difficult to get it to work. They're refund policy is a joke. NEVER WILL PURCHASE FROM THEM. Junk! Junk! Junk!”

“This is the absolute WORST, WORST, WORST company EVER!!!!! Don't walk...RUN from doing business with Poshmark!!!!! I purchased a belt that was NOT in excellent condition as the seller described. Good luck trying to return ANY item. I followed their return policy to the letter and instead of kindly accepting my return, they make you jump through hoops asking for more pictures which was ridiculous in my case since the problem wasn't visual...the belt was worn and stiff which wouldn't be reflected in a photo. When I made this point to them they ignored me. They refused to answer me so I wrote another message asking for an update to my response...again...silence. Finally the only response I DID get was a denial of my return. I WAS FLABBERGASTED!!!! Are you kidding me??? In this day and age of companies focusing on the customer experience, this company is doing the opposite over a $60 BELT!!! Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Buy on Ebay, Amazon or all the other thousands of companies that let you return an item!!!”

“I shipped my item to the buyer and I am supposed to be paid per their Posh Protect Policy. Tania has received several emails from me and I have sent over 20 emails at once even more but she doesn’t help whatsoever. She will make an excuse just to force a Poshmark Ambassador seller from getting their earnings.”

“Sold a pair of BRAND NEW Gucci pants tags attached. Seller wanted to return them because they were “worn.” Poshmark approved return?? Sold them on The Real Real within days with no issues. This buyer was an “Ambassador” so based on the reviews here they pick and choose who gets a refund. Never in my years on the app did I get a complaint. What a waste of my time.”

“I ordered a pair of shoes, "new in the box". What arrived was a Lulemon skirt. The return process was so cumbersome that I decided not to return and gift the skirt to my Granddaughter. The seller suggested that I "reposh" the skirt to start earning money. Seriously? Now I am being asked to ship the skirt to the correct customer? Again - really? Worst buying experience I have ever had. The seller said that since I was not interested in helping HER, she would just send me a refund personally. This has become a time consuming waste of my time. I did really want the shoes, but not anymore. If by chance the shoes ever do show up, I am happy to pay for them as I do not expect anything other than reasonable service from Poshmark. I would have given zero stars but had to select one in order to write this review. This is bottom line ridiculous! Buyer beware.”

“I bought face and body cream it was a total different product than the one I usually buy from different sellers. The body cream was watery and super light in color and the face cream was actually the body cream that they put in the little jar. Not fair for me to pay $55 and not receiving the right product. Believe me who ever did that just wait for karma.”

“Extremely rude staff, ordered a dress, buyer sent a wrong size and they refuse to take it back as my photo of the item was not good enough or another lame excuse as that . Now I’m not dealing with them ever as they not honest and transparent in their policy”

“While for the most part I have had good success with buying items on poshmark as most sellers I have come across are legit until you have one bad experience with a seller! Items stated the correct size 7.5 shoe but it had AA after the 7.5. Show size okay so seller stated the correct size but clearly nowhere in the description or even the chart description did it state what AA meant! All it said was a comfortable fit all day long! Okay good I bought it and it would appear that AA means very narrow and /or slim so it doesn’t fit! I didn’t ask for a refund of the 27.00 plus shipping only that I return the shoe and I buy another pair from the same seller!! Poshmark gave me a 5.00 credit and I can keep the shoes which 35.00 later after the shipping for something I can’t use is ridiculous! And you can’t call a telephone and speak to someone at poshmark! Buyer beware and make sure you understand shoe sizes.”

“I bought a jacket and it came with sweat stains on the collar. It was bad. I loved the jacket but it was filthy. I tried to return it but they made it hard to do so. Said I needed to put a picture in jpg. I don’t know how. I have washed it 3 times. It is better but still bad. This is a terrible experience for me.”

“I bought 2 pairs of 14K earrings at 14K prices. Two different vendors. Neither were 14K but lead or some other heavy materials. While they looked like the pictures, they are way too heavy to even wear. They are about $10-$15 elsewhere. What a fool I am.”

“Horrible, horrible, absolutely horrendous support. Automated as usual, Impossible to talk to a human being. 3rd item I’ve boughten of there that was completely non-functional. I am done. Something as simple as trying to change your password will be like pulling teeth. You won’t receive any confirmation emails. The user interface is the worst I’ve ever seen, especially for a company with the amount of money and influence. Disgusted, will never go anywhere near that bot-heavy app ever again. Within 5 minutes of making an account you will have over 100 followers, because bots harass you and welcome you to the app. Desperate for you to buy their worthless, broken, useless clothes/item. Thanks”

“Purchased things here and there on Poshmark. Mostly kids sneakers. My last purchase I bought two pair of sneakers and one was destroyed. Nothing like the picture. Poshmark offered $5 back. These shoes are so bad they won’t stay on any child’s foot. Very very poor customer service”

“The seller sent me an offer and i immediately accepted and paid. Then the seller cancelled my order and marked the item as sold. Because of this I decided I don't want to use the Platform & Because of the selliers idiotic tactics. I can't delete my account .”

“I received the Ugg shoes I ordered, in a size 9. They were at least an inch shorter than normal Ugg shoes, of which I have many. Poshmark's policy that items can't be returned if they are too small or too big, is insane. I will never chance buying from them again. Buyer beware.”

“The seller misrepresented the size. They sold a pair of pants that were listed as 38 waist. What I received was a size 32 waist. They have denied my request for a refund and repeatedly asked for photos. I sent photos and they sent another email with the same request for photos. $40.00 and they have lost a customer of 8 years with no prior complaints. Bye.”
