“Just the right size for Palisade steel railings fitting vertical with the post slot through the railings. Good strong construction. Does need some vertical fixing to stop the box sliding down. You might like to consider adding a small sign on the flap to show you lift it up, because the postman cannot work out how to put the mail in the box, it does not look obvious how it works. It is an excellent product well worth the cost.”

“The postbox was fine, and arrived very quickly. The dimensions were a bit smaller than advertised though - apparently based on incorrect dimensions from the manufacturer. I phoned to discuss the issue and had a very helpful conversation with the customer service person, who took the issue seriously and gave me various options. I got the overall impression that the company was trustworthy despite this error.”

“Good appearance and capacious. Easily mounted using the template printed on the delivery box, and the soft spacers will accommodate surface undulations. All fittings provided although the supplied torx wrench would be frustrating if you relied on it to tightening the fixing screws. A small hand could retrieve the contents through the top flap, so try a different model if you need security. We bought it because it seems weatherproof. Wish we'd bought one years ago.”

“Item was ordered on a Thursday , delivered on the following Monday and installed on Tuesday . It is a very secure, capacious and impressive postbox , which is exactly what we wanted . There were no instructions on fitting the box , or even fittings /screws supplied. This was no problem to me as a practised DIY person , but might risk others not using screws /plugs that are big enough for the weighty box.”

“The product itself is good quality, and as described. It feels good quality - not flimsy at all, and the moving parts like the delivery flap and door feel solid. There are 3 "drill outs" (you have to drill these through before using) for screwing to a wall, which I personally found to be in a slightly awkward place - they are quite close to the bottom of the delivery flap mechanism, which means getting at them is not as easy as it could be. My preference would be for them to be in a more accessible spot, or for there to be more hole options than just 3 hole. This is a minor annoyance though and shouldn't put anyone off. Regarding service from PostBoxShop themselves, I'm in a quandry as to how to score this. On the one hand, the placement of the order was lightning fast - I placed the order at the weekend, and by lunchtime Monday the item had been dispatched - very prompt! However, I had specifically requested in my order notes that the vendor contact me in order to arrange a delivery date, so that I could arrange to be at home to receive the delivery. I didn't get any such contact - just a "your order has been dispatched" note. When I contacted the vendor to ask what that mean in terms of delivery date, I was told (quite abruptly and with no apology for not having contacted me as per my request) that delivery would be the next day, and was given a Parcelforce tracking number (why is this not supplied with the dispatch notification I wonder?). So I had to at short notice take a day away from work to receive the delivery.....which never arrived. Using the supplied Parcelforce number was no help, since the Parcelforce site was not updated all day. As it turns out the delivery came the next day, which meant that despite my efforts to avoid neighbours being bothered by the delivery - I had to pick it up from a neighbour. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that a company specifically geared around easing the burden of deliveries from 3rd parties, could do more themselves to help make their own deliveries smoother. All in all though - happy with the purchase.”

“Post box bought to replace a metal one which had become rusty & unsightly due to sea air. Looks good & hopefully will do the job. Delivery was quick & it was well packed. However screws for fitting were missing - very disappointing!!”

“The ordering process was quick and simple. The mailbox arrived within days. Was really impressed with it. Great looking modern box. Is solid and very spacious. Can hold at least a couple of weeks amount of mail so great when on holiday or away.”
