“The quality of Postmates’ customer service has officially gone down hill, making it insane for me to use over cheaper and more diverse options like Grubhub at this point. Not only does postmates charge you multiple taxes (they have two separate delivery taxes that just use different language (??) and STILL ask you to tip the driver), they’ll then keep every cent of your order even if they NOR the restaurant fulfilled the order. Taking money from someone without a service rendered is either a donation or a robbery; I don’t know why I’d be donating to a multi-million dollar corporation in this economic climate so lets go w the latter.
What’s worse? The app glitched. I had to cancel my order because THEIR app made it a delivery AFTER I chose pick-up, and instead of them refunding my cute $25 in light of me being their customer for a decade and giving them literally THOUSANDS on dollars last year (don’t judge my non-cooking habits), they chose to be greedy and condescending by having Ralph just read a script back to me over and over again, which tells me they value $25 over my business so they can have the former instead. I’m floored, ngl. Will literally never use this app again.”
“I bought chipotle (a burrito bowl) for my sons lunch last night (he works nights) and it had dried clumps of tasteless rice as if it was from the night before, with no seasoning not one hint of lime. And the chips were stale and hard again no lime no salt. This is the 3rd and last time I will buy from this company (Postmates) and this chipotle. Postmates refuses to refund my money”

Postmates “decided” that Taco Bell had provided all my food, despite the clear image that I posted immediately after receiving it, displaying that there were not the correct number of items. They literally stole from me. I ordered something, didn’t receive it, and they believe that it is acceptable to simply lie and steal from customers apparently. This is not the first time this has happened with this app. I have been experimenting with several apps for months, and UberEats/Postmates is 100% the worst delivery app currently. The most expensive with the most problems. Don’t waste your money. Every time you order from Uber Eats/Postmates you’re risking half your order not arriving and no guarantee of a refund.”

The driver showed up to what I thought was my address, I told her how to get in and to drop it off at my door and I gave her the code since I couldn’t walk to the door to get it.
Turns out she delievered it to the wrong building a block away. Literally one minute after she dropped it off, my neighbor went to get it and it wasn’t anywhere. I called her and she said she was 30 minutes away (??) and wouldn’t come back. Then hung up on me.
After a Sherlock Holmes investigation for a phone number, they said she is too far away, they don’t do refunds and wouldn’t replace the order. Basically, sorry! You’re screwed.

“Postmates is horrible. They had a nice promo for me to use BUT the delivery person sent it to the wrong house. I contacted customer support and tried to get help because I never received my order. This happened on August 9th. Today is already August 21st and there is still no resolution. I’ve been calling every few days because it doesn’t make sense for me to suddenly lose money on food I never received. I don’t know how long this would take to be resolved but it definitely is a clear indicator for me to NOT ever use it again. The photo shows that it was delivered to someone else. I do not live at that address. Don’t even know where that is!”
