All they do is raise the rates, ever few months. Over and Over! They have done this repeatedly to me over the past year, and I have three large spaces. You would think they would treat best customers as best customers. NOT so!

I have had a unit in South Daytona on Nova Road for several years. They are conscientious and care about their customers. I was notified immediately after several hurricanes that they wanted all customers come to check their units for possible flooding. Joe and Tammy in South and Lacey in Merritt Island recently helped me with an issue, and I cant thank them enough. Prices, like everything else, have increased..please see if with that increase if anything can be done about the critters running through the place. They havent ruined anything but sure do stink!

No refund! Be aware that if you vacate in the middle of the month, even if you notified Public Storage over 30 days in advance of this, they will not refund you for the unused remainder of the month. In other you must pay through to the last day of the month, even if you wish to vacate before then.

Public Storage raised my rent $50 a month a while back and they will probably raise it again. I have made several trips to my third floor climate controlled this month and noticed that it was really hot up there. It feels like the heater is running, it’s 70 outside right now in San Antonio at 6:00PM. The young woman said that the thermostats have been raised to 85 degrees per corporate. The email I sent said someone would reply within 12 hours, it’s been 24. Most of the people that I have encountered are really nice people but Public Storage management that make these decisions are the lowest of the low. Greed seems to be so pervasive, it really saddens me. You would think that with the expansive flat roofs on these facilities that they would install solar panels. That will never happen.

6543 34th St North, St Petersburg Florida. This place is absolutely disgusting. Completely rat-infested and Corporate does nothing. Property manager quitting because she cannot deal with renter complaints. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!

I recommend you never use this company. Rates continue to go up, unable to open units (rusted), and promised to issue credit and than later the credit was rejected without informing me. Very poor customer service.

I reserved a storage space online with a move in date of 10-8-2022. My daughter no longer needed the unit and I called to cancel on 10-6-2022. I was told that the $19.99 lock fee (which is insane to just add this to someone's account to get the money) would be refunded, but the $24.99 administrative fee would not be refunded..... Well ma'am, I've never occupied the unit, therefore you have no right to keep the administrative fee when you've never provided any administrative duties and/or tasks.... Well it's non-refundable. So, now you're going to strong arm me for services not rendered???? No problem, I'm a huge blogger and I will make sure that people DO NOT reserve any units with your company UNLESS they're absolutely sure that they need it and/or they're just ready to DONATE $24.99.

Eric from the Southlake Texas site was a very seasoned knowledgeable individual when it came to giving us good counsel regarding our move and our need for storage. He put us in the correct size unit, made sure the unit was clean prior to move in and offered many great tips on moving and storing even to the point of how to tape our boxes for best result. I won't store anywhere else. Eric you sure made it easy and stress free. thank you dave

I am at the 732 s cedar ridge location. I can never get in contact with anyone on site whenever I need something or have a problem. But when ever I ame at my unit they will pass by on their golf cart. I came two days in a row and no one in office I call and no one answered phone. Left 3 messages and no response. I waited at my unit for 30 minutes and drove back to office and waited 15-20 more minutes. Called customer service and they didn't have any luck also. September will be my last month

The manager, Genice at the 367 Southern Blvd location in the Bronx, has been very nasty to me on multiple ocassions and verbally abusive to my elderly parents. When I have expressed concern over this, I have had my lease threatened. I was given a flatbed with a faulty wheel one afternoon and went to the office to ask for a new one. I expressed that my mom is crippled and it could cause her to fall. Genice refused to give me another cart. I realize that flatbeds are a courtesy, but any equipment provided should be safe and there were plenty of other flatbeds out there. I have video of the conversation and the rude refusal I received. I finally called the district manager, Sam, and left a message, because they will not offer us any of the senior accomodations there and are very disrespectful. Sam called me back and did not address the issues, including zero climate control, even though we are paying for it, which causes us to have to haul our stuff into our unit at a stuffy, fuming temperature in 95 degree weather; Instead of addressing the issue, Sam told us to VACATE ALL our units at EVERY Public Storage location by August 31, 2022. Yes all..those that belong to my husband who has been in FL for years, my mother's, my entire family, anyone with me as a contact. Have you ever heard of a manager casually ending the tenancies of 8 units at once, punishing an entire family and costing his company a combined $2400 revenue a month? No company should allow such an abuse of power. Each of us will be suing. We rent medium to large units. Sam even visited one of my units in June, and had no complaints. This is direct retaliation for my complaint, ageism, negligence and breach of contract. I have never heard of a location not having a problem with your tenancy for years then suddenly ending all your contracts, because you finally found a voice to say something about the wrongs going on there. This is extortion. In addition to the gross display of negligence towards its elderly and handicapped clients : 1. Public Storage is terminating our month to month tenancies without 30 days notice, and 2. Terminating my tenancy without prior warning and without reason or proof is a violation of my civil rights and automatically indicative of retaliation, based upon the timing of my complaint on August 4th (I was told we would have to vacate by August 31st on August 8th.   3. During our phonecall Sam refused to state specifically what events ocurred to cause my tenancy to be discontinued. 4. Sam also refused to notify me which units he wanted me to vacate. This is ridiculous. I am open to contact by an attorney or others who have had extremely negative experiences with Public.
