“I'm a frequent costumer from Publix in my area in Deerfield Mall ,Deerfield Beach Florida for over 4 years. I truly love Publix ❤️ however this past Saturday March 20,2025 I bought a fried Chicken 🍗 🐔 it is very tasty and crispy already packed, surprisingly the Chicken tights was uncooked with blood. I think the kichen manager needs to be aware of that and make sure all fried chicken needs to be fully cooked before putting for sale. I have to throw out the chicken tights.”

“the meat at publix supermarkets is about the worst i've ever had. I'm from the northeast and used to get fresh and tasty beef. The stuff they call "steak" and "beef" is horrible. Don't know if it will be any better, but I'm at least going to try Winn-dixie ... it truly can't be any worse. They must buy from the cheapest suppliers they can find”
“Another fail by the worst Deli manager at any publix. Runs out of 2 types of breads for subs at 5 o'clock. A good manager would not have that happen. Btw if it was my first experience with her deli I'd be more forgiving. But after 6,7,8 etc times I'm tired of her incompetence”
“I’ve been a loyal customer of Publix for quite some time, but I feel compelled to share my disappointment regarding a recent policy change. They have decided to charge over $1 per pound for cutting up chicken into small pieces—something that has always been a complimentary service at their competitor.
This new fee feels unnecessary and frustrating, especially considering that Publix Supermarket is already known for its higher prices across the board. Adding an additional cost for a service that used to be free makes shopping here less appealing. Many customers rely on this service, especially when purchasing larger quantities of meat, and this change just adds to the overall expense of shopping at Publix.
It’s disheartening to see a supermarket prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. I hope they reconsider this decision, as it may drive loyal shoppers like me to seek alternatives where we can find better value and service.”
“Today at the Publix at Verandah, a store employe, Charlie, stocking in chip aisle helped me and my sister find multiple items through out the store by aisle number. Charlie was very helpful and pleasant. He even knew where to find hot honey in the store.”
“More than 30 minutes on the deli subs line. Is not only one time, it has been the last 4 times I came in two weeks. Publix needs to improve the speed. Plenty of people just getting tired and leaving the line because of the ridiculous wait time for a sub!”
“Completely disappointed with the customer service. the price is the highest of any grocery chain I have shopped in for the same product. Was at my local store in Coconut Creek and Lyons Road, this morning to get some empanadas just like in other days. but today a young woman that appeared to be the assistant manager when asked by an employee about it ignored me and after four minutes of waiting said sorry, they won't be ready for a half hour”
“Horrible customer service.
Deli wait was very long. Not the first time. The deli employee did not speak even when prompted. Cashier was rude and unhelpful. Manager was uncaring and robotic. Prices go up and service goes down.”
“What is going on in the deli departments at the Publix stores in Tallahassee. All deli staff are rude. Either they stand there and talk to each other before wanting to wait on you or they will look at you and walk away. There is always a lot of staff working behind the counter but a lot of them don’t want to help you. Very bad personality. If they don’t like their job, quit. All of the deli managers should be fired .Then when you check out at the register the cashier is more focused on having a Conversation with the bagger then with you, like you are not even there. I have shopped Publix all of my life and it is sad to see them get just like Walmart. Publix used to put the customer first, but not anymore. This will be another company that will go out of business because they just don’t care anymore about the people that has made them what they are. And why do you need my email address to see if this review is genuine ?? I wrote it!”
“No more Apple fritters? The old ones were fantastic, these new ones a clerk tells me they are frozen, then packed? Shame on you Publix! Very disappointed, your bakery leaves a lot to be desired now.”
“Quality of people has been lowered.stocking stores during the day are always in the way in the isles.workers used to be professional and look like they just got out of bed.seeing workers being yelled at because they are understaffed due to employees not reporting to work.”
“Publix was known for good customer service. Not anymore at least not in Sebastian river walk ( roseland Rd) I was doing self checkout and noticed the wine rang up twice. When I asked the employee to look at it she said yes but it’s your fault you did this but I will fix it. So unnecessary I was blaming the store. This is the third time an employee has been snarky about something simple.”
“For some time, the quality of the deli and bakery departments has gone downhill. Now, it has gotten worse. For over a month (or longer), all Publix stores in Tallahassee have not had their famed Apple Fritters available. Whenever I go to the bakery and ask for them, I am told they are unavailable, and the employees have no answer why. They are in the dark. Apparently, Publix has discontinued their delicious Apple Fritters. Instead, they have tried substituting with another product they call "apple fritters," but they are tough and horrible tasting. They're just a cheap imitation. Apple Fritters are not supposed to be tough! Why, Publix, have you discontinued your best-Nealselling and best-tasting bakery product?”
“Publix store no, 501 in Tampa FL. Address 2724W. Hillsboroe ugh Ave. There is only 2 registers open at a really busy time. To me it is not a pleasure to shop there anymore.I might as well go to Walmart and shop. I have been shopping at the that Publix for over 60years. If this keeps up I will not go there any more.”
“Saraland al Publix PHAMACY is the worst run pharmacy in town and I thought it couldn’t get worse than Walgreens, but I was wrong. Lies, not having scrips ready when they say, multiple trips with still no scrip. Lousy service and a manager that doesn’t care one whit. FIRE HER!”
“Right this moment I would give a zero if it was there. This morning at the Bradenton Commons Publix. I had something happen that I was shocked and actually embarrassed the heck out of me. In produce I picked up a container of mixed fruit. I dropped it, the fruit had fell into the bottom shelf. I had picked up as much as I could, put it in the container, sat it back on the shelf. Less than 10 feet from me is a Publix Produce guy (Jose). He waited until I started to walk away and then proceeded to outloud ask me if I planned on just leaving that. I ask if he wanted me to put it in my pocket or something. So the altercation is partly my fault. I picked up all that I could get to and got a " come on man" from Jose and he took the container into the back room. Guess I should of done that.
Its not much at all to Publix I know. However due to Jose polished customer service. I will not spend another penny with this company.”
