“I have sleep apnea related to my lower jaw sliding back when I sleep: PureSleep is the solution for me as it holds my lower jaw in place and eliminates my apnea. I have been using one for more than 10 years. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, FOR ME, it stops being effective within 3-4 months as it becomes a looser fit by that time, and no longer holds my jaw in place. I only think this would be a problem for people who have really strong tooth-grinding movement. Mine is extreme- where I have broken teeth. But, protecting my teeth is an added benefit to PureSleep: I have not damaged my teeth since I started using it. Instead of my teeth, I wear out the implement. Much better choice. So, overall- this is an excellent device. It stops my apnea (which is due to an underbite, not throat width or other things that can create this issue), and it protects my teeth from damage. It just wears out quickly for me... Highly recommend overall.”

“I am a chronic snorer and apparently it gets so bad that my wife will give me a shove to wake me up to stop the snoring. Not anymore! I’ve been using the pure sleep device for about 3 weeks now and my wife reports no snoring from me. There is some discomfort in the lower jaw when I first take it out but it quickly goes away. Great product. Thanks!”

“If you have a small mouth this is very difficult to fit in your mouth. It’s one size and yes it molds well to the teeth. I was unable to close my mouth.”

If your PureSleep felt too large, and if you were unable to close your mouth, it's likely that you didn't make a deep enough impression of your teeth during the fitting process. That's a common thing because let's face it, that thing is pretty darn warm when it comes out of the boiling water, so it's real easy to wait too long before putting it in your mouth so it has a chance to cool off. However if you wait longer than the amount of time that the directions specify, the soft plastic will start to get hard, so you won't be able to make a good, deep impression of the teeth. When it's done correctly, the teeth fit INTO the device, like a hand in a glove, and it doesn't feel so big or bulky. Fortunately, it's easy to correct this mistake! Just repeat the fitting process, making sure that you don't wait too long. It may feel hot, but it won't injure you, and if you can't keep it in your mouth for the specified time, that's OK. Just do your best. But the trick is to make a nice, deep impression. Then your PureSleep device will feel like it's surrounding your teeth, rather than feeling like a big bulky object that you're biting.

“It's more of a mouth guard than anti snore device for me. This is because I can not get it to fit tight. Usually, it is only the top or bottom that fits right. I have been using one for many years, so I know how to prepare it. It helps me when I grind my teeth. Finally, I'm not real happy with the price. Besides once in a while discounts, we repeat users should be treated a little better.”
