“Absolutely the best trip ever. Everything to make a trip spectacular was over the top. Naturalists were super knowledgeable and accommodated every age with grace from the 6-year-olds to the 84-year-old. There was no way anyone could not learn a ton of new information about the origin of these islands, their inhabitants, and the struggle to keep them that way. The accommodations were both comfortable and attractive. In addition, they were kept immaculately clean. The meals were buffet-style, an attractive and bountiful table for every single meal. The crew was friendly, helpful and ever-present. The bartender was excellent and the bar never ran out of wine.”

“The naturalists were passionate, knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Truly enjoyed the evening recap and educational aspects of the trip. Also felt the love of the Galapagos through our teachers Bolo, Roberto, and Christina. The itineraries were very well organized and made the most of every minute of every day.”

“The Quasar Expedition to the Galapagos was a world-class experience and was truly one of the best trips that I have ever taken in my life. Every single day was planned with care, and I felt as though I was experiencing one of the world's most beautiful destinations in the best way possible. “We had the best vacation ever on the Evolution in the Galapagos! My family of 19 people could not be more pleased with Quasar, the ship and the staff. We had so much fun, and the staff joined us in our fun, which made them feel more like part of our family. The one other family on our trip became family as well. You could say we were one big happy family! Aliana and Gabi went above and beyond to help me when our flights were canceled the day before we left. Monica was a great guide and always helpful! Alec was our fearless leader! The Captain was helpful, and available, always on deck to welcome us back from our many adventures. The bartender George was so much fun and kept busy with our large group of young people. The booking, and covid testing, the care we received was all top-notch! Thank you for taking us on this amazing adventure. It was a privilege to observe all the wildlife, while under your guidance.”

“The crew went WAY above and beyond to make our experience perfect. They added additional snorkeling excursions, put on an unforgettable performance, took handicapped passengers on alternate excursions, helped us reschedule flights home when ours were cancelled, and so much more. You can get a similar Galapagos experience on several cruise lines, but you’ll not be taken care of better than you will with Quasar.”

“WE LOVED OUR TRIP TO ECUADOR. It was a trip of a lifetime. The guides were excellent with great English skills: Rafael (driver to Papallacta), Miguel (guide to and in Otavalo), and Gustavo (guide at Sacha) and Norbi in Cuenca. We liked the drivers and the accommodations. The hotel we stayed at in Quenca (Cruz del Vado) was a bit of a problem. The rooms were VERY small and HOT (with little ventilation). The hotel building is historic and beautiful, the location was great, but with no outside windows... it is not a pleasant place to stay. They have two rooms (101 & 102) that at larger and with outside windows (and a balcony) that are exquisite. We were not so impressed with the Hilton in Quito, but we did love the EB in Quito. The entire trip (air flights, accommodations, etc.) was extremely well planned and organized. We highly recommend Quasar to our friends. One small improvement would be to change the second-day pick-up in Quito to 11 or 12 (rather than 9:30 AM) since the Spa will not let you into your room until 3 PM. Also, on the way back to Quito from the Spa, it is possible to visit the Sasha Rose Farm (my wife is a gardener and this was one of the high-points of the trip). You can take a tour for $10 at the Sasha Rose Farm. We did that. It is only 20 minutes from the airport, and well worth the time. One other thing to mention: Diane Schick gave us a "tip-guide" and this was very helpful. We shared this with other travelers and they really appreciated it.”

“It was perfectly organized and run. Being met at the Guayaquil airport for our flight to Galapagos was very helpful. One glitch was that we had been told that tips for the naturalists and crew could be done via credit card, but this turned out not to be true. We did have checks, so the problem was not serious, but we had planned on paying with credit cards, not wanting to carry large amounts of cash. All in all, a fantastic trip for a family of 11.”

“Our week aboard M/V Evolution was the best week of my life. Our crew thought of every single detail to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. The meals and snacks were fresh and tasty, the daily schedule was filled with activity and learning opportunities. Our naturalists were extraordinary. My daughter and I consider our adventure the trip of a lifetime. It exceeded our highest expectations.”

“The most memorable trip of my life! The accommodations were really comfortable, the crew and guides quickly became “part of the family”. Every day they took us on a new adventure (or two). Each event was well planned and executed with knowledge and expertise. Even the meals, which were delicious, were well organized and enjoyed by everyone. The birds, tortoises, ocean life and reptiles were incredible! And it was all done with a careful eye toward protecting the Galápagos wildlife and their environment. Everyone who gets a chance to experience this trip should jump at the chance. Thank you Quasar for organizing and flawlessly executing this very special trip.”

“The U.S. and local staff of Quasar answered all our questions promptly, and were able to accommodate two changes in our sailing dates due to Covid. They also made PCR and rapid Covid testing easy, and stayed abreast of the quick changes in Covid travel policies by various countries.”
