“We had a great experience with Quasar. Tasha guided us through the process of tailoring the trip for us. We loved the vastness of Patagonia,the Penguins, the people, Buenos Aires, and ending at the unbelievable Iguazu Falls. The Jeep experience was both fun and easy. It allowed us flexibility on activities depending on the elements. Would heartily recommend Both our agent Tasha and Quasar”

“Thank you to everyone at Quasar for a spectacular trip. We are still looking at photos and drinking great wine in honor of everyone we met in Chile and Argentina. Quasar's guides were ALL very knowledgeable, fun, and excellent in many ways. Rather than review 5 different guides, let me just say that if you ask for Ines W. in Valparaiso, Alwin in Santiago, and Tim in Patagonia, you will be very happy. Our transfers from place to place with Natalia and Martin were very smooth and effortless. All spoke excellent English and were very helpful with the many times we crossed borders, either at an airport or by car. I can't wait to book with Quasar again since I now am completely confident they will send superb people to make the travel experience that much better.”

“We had an outstanding expedition. Tasha was so great working with us from the very beginning. She got to know us a little bit and what we liked and what kind of adventure we were looking for. All of our excursions were very enjoyable and appropriate to our adventure level. We liked the hotels that we stayed in. The Jeep was perfect-That's how we like to travel being independent and being able to get where we want to go rather than travel in a large group or on a bus or van. Patagonia is wild and untouched, and I am so grateful we got to see it and Quasar was the perfect option for us”

“Quasar was a fantastic company to work with for our trip to Patagonia. My husband and I had been dreaming of a trip to Patagonia for years. I am very outdoorsy and love all camping and hiking expeditions, but my husband prefers more of the hospitality and food scene. We found Quasar and decided it was the best option for us to both get what we wanted. It couldn’t have been more perfect. We did all the hiking and adventuring I craved all while staying in beautiful hotels with spas and delicious food. They truly helped us get everything we wanted out of this trip and made it all really easy to achieve. I should also mention that a month before we were set to leave on our trip my husband sustained an injury that led to a surgery where he would be non weight-bearing for two months. We were devastated. We made the call to Quasar, and they worked with us to completely reschedule our trip for ten months later. We were so afraid to lose our chance to visit Patagonia, but Quasar worked with us to make sure it happened! They really were great!”

“Great trip with three amazing naturalists. Swam with sea lions, followed orcas, saw lots of marine iguanas, Galapagos penguins, flightless cormorants, blue-footed boobies, etc. Went on some very interesting hikes, kayaked, and snorkeled 5 times. Highly recommend the trip!”

“Great Galapagos experience. Environment and snorkeling were amazing. Staff was attentive. Food was fine. Would definitely do it again, but internet policy was restrictive and toilet paper policy was off-putting.”

“Our experience with Quasar was outstanding. They helped arrange every detail of the trip, which included two extra nights prior to boarding the cruise ship. They arranged the hotels, shuttles and excursions. Stress-free travel is always appreciated and they definitely took care of us. When one of the hotel stays resulted in a pretty significant inconvenience, Quasar spoke with the hotel manager and got us a full refund. That was unexpected but very much appreciated. The planning of the trip also included multiple calls prior to departing to ensure that all travel details had been accounted for, including food allergies and profile preferences. I appreciated their attention to detail. The trip was fabulous and we were able to focus on and enjoy the experience fully, and didn't have to worry at all about travel logistics. “Don't hesitate to book this trip! We chose Quasar at the recommendation of a well-traveled friend who took this trip aboard The Evolution earlier this year. We also read Cruise Critic reviews, watched Quasar's videos and spoke at length with Diane at Quasar. From our first phone call with Diane up until our "welcome home" phone call, we were given the highest level of service and care. Quasar exceeded our expectations. The communication, packing list, itinerary were top notch. The Evolution has 21 crew members and a very high ratio of crew to guests. We are grateful for every single crew member from Captain Victor to the behind-the-scenes folks who made everything work smoothly. Andrea, the concierge was always available for help and guidance. Kudos to the chef - the food is spectacular - lots of options, lots of fresh salads, vegetables, meat, fish, local cuisine and desserts. Every meal was a delight and delicious. The service is seamless - from the moment our luggage was collected at embarkation to the delivery of our luggage to our departure. Where to begin to describe the 3 naturalists? Bolo, Cornelia and Christina taught us so much about everything we were experiencing. They were interesting, fun and incredibly knowledgable. Each night we had briefing which was fun and informative. These professionals were so kind and supportive whenever we needed help and took the time to get to know us individually. This is very robust trip and the most "active vacation" we've ever taken. For every excursion, we had a choice to be as active as we felt comfortable. The guides were helpful every step of the way, recommending when we might need a walking stick, whether is was a wet or dry landing, which shoes to wear and what type of terrain we would encounter in order to manage our expectations. The emphasis on guest safety and attention to detail is very comforting. The excursions were fantastic and the crew and guides helped on and off the pangas with tremendous care. The proximity to animals is breathtaking. Snorkeling with turtles, sea lions, sharks, colorful fish is amazing.”

“This was our 2nd trip with Quasar because of their superb quality, customer service and attention to detail. Working with Tasha on our Patagonia/Chile trip was above and beyond. She spent an inordinate amount of time in helping us through some personal pre-trip problems and a possible trip cancellation or postponement. So very kind and caring. The hotels booked were wonderful, with every one having a super comfortable bed, and now we really can't wait to get back to Argentina & Chile. Safe, great wine and fab food. Truly an exceptional trip. Also, Quasar's ground support is constantly monitoring your trip and have thought of everything, so you always feel safe. Finally, their guides are knowledgeable, caring, and willing to adjust to your preferences, and can't be beat. A luxury experience all around.”

“We’ve been fortunate to travel with Quasar to Galapagos in 2016 and Patagonia this October 2023. Our decision to choose Quasar again was based on our incredible previous experiences. You get what you pay for with Quasar. They are into the details and the level of service is top-notch! From booking your trip, selecting an itinerary, prompt responses. and even an amazing follow-up after your trip! The staff was great, and all our guides had incredible knowledge and knew how to make the trips adventurous & fun as well! The ships in Galapagos are unique & beautiful, and the accommodations in Patagonia will spoil you.”

“Quasar is a class act with tremendous staff, excellent food, wonderful accommodations. The excursions were amazing: hiking, snorkeling and/or kayaking, typically at least 2 out of 3 activities each day. The wildlife was absolutely unforgettable. The staff was super helpful before, during, and after our trip to make sure all details were covered.”
