Recent price increases mean Rapid are now often more expensive than Farnell and RS. This would be ok if their delivery service was as good as the others but, unfortunately, orders usually arrive within 2-3 days rather than next day.

Hi Tony, Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Customer Services have been in contact with you regarding pricing. They have advised contacting our Sales Department should you find our pricing higher than our competitors when looking to place an order. With regards to deliveries, Customer Services advised that we do not guarantee next day deliveries against our standard delivery services, however guaranteed next day delivery is available for an extra charge. Wish Rapid could hold more stock, as many of the goods I need are usually on a 4 weeks lead time according to the web.

My small purchase was handled quickly and very well. However, the image provided of the product (an eye bolt) was not the same as the one I received. I wanted the round eye bolt, but I received the square, flattened model. I needed these eye bolts immediately, and I didn't have time to send them back for the right ones. I'm sure that an exchange would have been made with no trouble, but I didn't try. Still, it would behove them to place the right images with their products.

Ok company, good site, good comms. Delivery is fantastically bad though. I have discussed this with them and it is the reason I have to use other suppliers. My orders weren't big enough for them to worry. Will use them if I can afford to wait a while and if the goods aren't fragile. It IS their fault, as they choose the "courier"*. Such is life. *term used very loosely for the delivery channels they use.

Nice low prices but often out of stock, the website is a maze and I can never find anything and they use UKMail which are the worse couriors in the country. I on;y use them because they are cheap.

Generally good, but last order had to be repeated because I have been waiting for three weeks for the parcel to arrive (still not arrived). Additionally, when I first spoke to your sales dept. about this, I was given a less than satisfactory response. (The impression was that the value of the order was small, and so what did I expect? ) Bob Bows, SciTron.

Rapid Electronics was good as a supplier but I am not so happy about the wash bottles that I bought. As other reviewers mentioned, the seal between the screwtop and the bottle is not air tight, so when you squeeze the bottle, all that happens is that air comes out the top. I improved the bottles by slicing off a little plastic flash at the neck of the bottle, but still not quite satisfactory.

Was pleased by the fast delivery of one item but the second item has still not arrived. I was very pleased with the price of the items as on another well known site they were much more expensive.

finding parts on the website is not too easy if you are trying to compare pricing, loss of the cat is a great shame it was so much more easy. BRING BACK THE CATALOUGE.

Its take moore than a week to get the package to sweden Rapid have lot of metal case that i dont find here Problem is payment for shiping have to be very high 25 £ ... Best regards Anders Brandt Sweden

RAPID in name only. Fine product at fair price. Ridiculously overpriced courier service which is slower than 1st class Royal Mail or even Parcel Fxrce.

I bought two T5 fluorescent tubes (made in China) for an under cupboard light. One blew as soon as it was put in. Probably nothing to do with Rapid, but it's disappointing

Reasonable website, quick delivery and fair priced items makes Rapid attractive to buy from. However, we had multiple invoices and warning emails due to the bizarre reason that Rapid 'forgot' to add VAT to the original. Very odd.

Good prompt delivery but Delivery charges can sometimes be too high compared to the weight and price of goods shipped e.g. Farnell and RS are free delivery but then again you do stock some products they don't

Good service from Rapid. Shame about the carrier. They are uncommunicative and poor. I lost a day because they promised delivery, failed, promised it again , then promised it the next afternoon and then delivered in the morning when I was out.

We were generally happy with the service, although one of the items was not with the consignment when it arrived, stating that it would follow. When ordering the goods this was showing as 'in stock' on the website. We tend to order goods as we need them, so if it was showing out of stock on the website, we would have gone elsewhere for the goods to avoid delays. Thank you
