“Bought some magnets but the size in the photo is much larger than reality. Yes, I know the size is somewhere in the description and it is my fault for not checking carefully enough but what looked like a 2cm magnet turned out to be 2mm. Aaannnyy chance that photos of components where size is likely to matter include a ruler next to the component in the photo. Thank you.”

“I found entering the discount code impossible but when I phoned the company to ask why they were extremely helpful and sorted the problem quickly and in a friendly manner. My goods then arrived soon after. My order will arrive in two parts as some was not in stock (no problem) but I then found the invoicing confusing and had to ring back on that. The two invoices did not match and I wasn't sure what I was paying in the end. I don't think I am a stupid person - it really wasn't clear.”

“The service from Rapid Electronics themselves was very good but I have had to downgrade my overall rating because I was not happy with the delivery company they used (UKmail). The UKmail website indicated that delivery would be on 02 April but the package did not arrive until 04 April meaning that I had to hang around the house waiting for 2 frustrating days.”

“Bought the workshop kit as an intro as it included the Arduino R3 and some electronic components. Unfortunately there was no mention on the website that this is, apparently, intended to be bought with a book. There are no instructions with this kit whatsoever. I mentioned this but haven't been offered a copy of the book even though Rapid admitted that this item does no make this clear and say they will change the description. The link to the accompanying book they send me doesn't mention the Workshop kit in its title either so really I stood no chance of knowing this. The Arduino itself works well enough if you find out about it by hunting for instructions on various websites. Without the book I still don't have circuits built using the supplied components though. As a regular Rapid customer I am not happy one, in this instance.”
