Absolutely shocking company. After waiting nearly 8 weeks for my order to arrive, it arrived broken. Called the customer service number on numerous occasions only to be cut off after over an hour of being on hold. Emailed them too with photos and a of the problem. All I got back was the usual 'Thank you for your email, we'll get back to you as soon as we can.' After finally getting the chance to talk to an actual person and a replacement promised I thought the problem was sorted...it wasn't. Got through again 2 weeks later to be told there was no record of my first call so replacements weren't sent. Got yet another promise that they were now actually ordered and on there way. 3 weeks later, still nothing. More calls, more emails and nothing still. This all happened 3 months ago and we've heard nothing. Utterly disgusted. We've cut our losses. We've managed to 'fix' the problem ourselves. It's a shame as the furniture itself was lovely, albeit broken. I personally would never recommend this company. Their customer service is probably the worst I've ever known.

Cannot get hold of anyone - no answer on the phone, been number 3 on the phone for the past hour then I get put through to an answering service. They must have gone under. Absolutely Shocking. DO NOT USE!

Placed an order on the 29th May 20, and delivery was made on the 9th July 20 as agreed. However some items were damaged and the colour of the cushions completely wrong. A list of the issues are below whcih were emailed to them on the day of delivery after speaking with Sandra in customer services. Monaco Rattan Garden Day Bed Sofa Set in Black & Vanilla - SET-MON-002 -All the cushion are white with black trimming. -The glass top for one of the coffee tables/bed is shattered. -The suction to place the glass on the other coffee table/bed is not working. Cambridge 8 Rattan Garden Chair and Rectangle Dining Table Set in Black & Vanilla - SET-CAM-022 -The rattan weave on the top of the table is loose and damaged. As expected I am having to chase them everyday for a response and as previous comments there is either an issue with the systems or someone is blaming another department. It has been a week since our delivery, and to date no one seems to want to take responsibility to resolve any issues. I will probably need to speak to my credit card company as we have not received the goods we ordered.

Useless company. Poor customer service. Ihey lie about delivery dates. Igniore requests for refunds. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.

I have a delivery today....waiting in....daybed ordered April....same as everyone else, cannot get to speak to anyone, long wait over an hour on phone to music and “your call is important to us” (apparently they are not) No emails answered.( was asking if they were still coming the date given) I have read trustpilot and terrible reviews. Scary. I have 2 ordered RD1717. To 2 different addresses as the other a present. What IS going on ????? Just want someone to tell me. Well it’s 5.30 now so they won’t be coming will they.☹️😢

I ordered two sun loungers on 7th May, promised delivery today 26 June. After emails, waiting in a phone queue to be cut off when my turn to speak I feel furious about the way this Company deals with its customers, in the meantime holding their money!! After my efforts told that their supplier will give a new date for delivery or I can have a refund. Goes without saying which option I will go for. Even in these unprecedented times one would expect a bit of Customer Service advising if the items cannot be delivered.

I ordered a corner sofa on the 7th June which said 24th June for delivery. I then ordered an extra coffee table and that said delivery 11th August. I didn’t mind as long as I got the sofa in June. I rang up was assured it was June on the day I placed the order. Same as the other review, I emailed 10 days ago and no response, emailed this week, yesterday etc. And nothing. Sat at no. 1 in the queue for an hour and 10 mins and was hung up on! Was in a queue at number 22 the following day and as soon as I got to number 1 phone cut dead again-they hung up. Tried again this morning fir phone back and nothing. I have phone records for all this. I still have no comms about my order but they were quite happy to take my money straight away. Honestly all I want now is a refund as it is a shocking service. I can order and pay for the same sofa today and it says it will be delivered next weekend. Do not believe it.

Shockingly bad company to deal with --- AVOID at all costs! Like other people I checked out Rattan Direct out on TrustPilot, all looked good so placed an order for over £1800 for outdoor sofa. Money was taken immediately with 4-6 were delivery. This week order was due to be delivered and ... nothing. Now I simply cannot get hold of anyone at Rattan Direct. I have tried to call and after an hour of waiting in a queue got put through to an answer phone! Tried emails with no response. Tried messaging via Facebook page, no response. Even emailed the owner direct and guess what ... no response. Have passed it over to credit card company to deal with, but do yourself a favour DO NOT use Rattan Direct.

Has Rattan Direct gone out of business? I ditto everything that has been said. My order was supposed to have been delivered yesterday but wasn't. After waiting in a queue for 40 minutes and finally reaching the top of the telephone queue it went to a voicemail message saying to leave a message! I have sent three emails and have received no reply. Before placing my order I telephoned the company to check that the delivery time quoted was accurate and they assured me it was! Is it not fraudulent to accept orders and payment knowing you are not able to supply the order? I checked reviews via Trust Pilot before placing order and in general they were all positive - clearly Trust Pilot reviews cannot be taken seriously. Avoid this company at all cost.

AVOID AVOID AVOID🤬🤬🤬🤬 They take your money for stock they don’t have and then ignore you when you try to get your money back. They lied to me saying they had sent refund when the bank confirmed they hadn’t!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS😡😡😡😡😡😡 They take your money for orders knowing they have not got the stock even give you a delivery date!!Once they have your money their not interested. They don’t answer emails and when you try and contact them by phone you are left on hold for 30 minutes. Appalling customer care who haven’t got a clue. Save yourself a lot of stress and go elsewhere.

Dreadful service. The order was only partially delivered, the cushions were missing. Despite several phone calls during which I was given multiple explanations and promised the matter would be rectified, the cushions have still not been delivered. I have requested a full refund. I wouldn't deal with this company again.

Ordered and paid circa £1200 for corner furniture set in August 2019. Delivery date was 7th September 2019. Delivery date came and went, chased them, got an email advising issue with stock and we could get a £50 refund and wait 4-6 weeks or a full refund. Opted for part refund and waited 6 weeks - nothing. Rang in November 2019. Rang December 2019. Now March 2020- still not delivered- rang again- told us order had left the warehouse but would call back to clarify why not received......waiting....

Terrible customer service. The furniture is quite good but they sent out the wrong rain cover. We have spent 3 months trying to get them to send the correct one. They always promise it will be delivered in a few days but nothing arrives. I would not buy from them again because if anything goes wrong they do not deal with it. They don't phone you back and only occasionally reply to emails. Customer service is hopeless.

I placed an order on The 30Th July this year and paid over £1600 for conservatory furniture. I was told my order would take from 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks I e-mailed for an update and was told as the order was coming straight from the warehouse they would find out and get back to me- they didn't. I then telephoned a week later and again was told they would find out and telephone me back- they didn't. I telephoned again and was told it might be that the cushion covers were out of stock and they would find out and get back to me- again they didn't. I then e-mailed again and this time they did get back to me and was told they didn't know when my order would be ready and did I want a refund! I had wasted 6 weeks waiting for furniture, the customer service was awful it was like they had no interest and didn't care if I got my order or not. Would not recommend this company.

I have been trying to contact Rattan Direct and they have not answered my last three emails. We have had a nightmare with our delivery and after spending £900 on garden furniture, one would think professionalism would be a given. Plus, the glass on the outdoor coffee table was chipped and the quality of the cushions are well below what they used to be (we are in possession of some other furniture we bought off a friend). I hope that someone will see this and perhaps get back to me as it’s been a month. Thank you

Nice furniture, but terrible customer service. The furniture covers they sell with their rattan sets are not waterproof and I have been trying to buy new cushion covers for 9 months. Every time I call, I am told they will be in stock in 7 weeks and that has been going on for nine months.
