“It is a pleasure coming to the office each and every day. Tyler, the primary Regus team member at the Barrie center is always pleasant, informed, helpful, ready and willing to assist with any of our daily office needs, as may occur. The Business center is always well maintained and operates in a professional respectful manner. My clients/guests are always impressed with the warm reception and guidance.
Tyler is also knowledgeable on issues and concerns directed to him; if he is unsure he will always investigate to provide practical answers and solutions. Because he is familiar with Barrie and the surrounding areas he is in touch with applicable and relevant details.
Is is always reassuring to know when we are away from the office Tyler keeps us informed, by email, of any mail/deliveries or unscheduled guests.
We are very pleased with our decision to join the Regus family a year ago. The move has allowed us to focus our energies on the our business, being able to serve our clients in a professional environment.
Thank you.”
“In general, the office was good. However, I wasn't informed of a cleaning fee (restoration), which I wouldn't mind paying if I had received such service upon arrival.
My desk was so dirty that I requested wipes to clean it myself. Not a problem until i was later charged this fee. I was so shocked that I documented it that day in early Sept. (see photos). I appealed the $30+ invoice but you still charged my credit card.
I'm still waiting to get my deposit (you have another name for it) back.
Not sure how to proceed in 1) continuing my appeal of the $30 fee and (2) getting my several hundred dollar deposit back.
Thanks for your time,”
“The offices are very good but it is Rodica on reception that makes all the difference. Every day she goes the extra mile to make sure we have everything we need and the feedback we get from our clients in dealing with her is excellent.
She is a massive help to our business on a daily basis and we would be lost without her.”
“I truly love the experience had with my Regus resources. So much so, I don't want to share the news of how great the team and the facility has been with the thought that everyone will come rushing in. I cannot be more happy with the treatment, the building and the price of my new office. Once my business grows, I will surely acquire a second office and it will be with my friends here at Regus (different location). The office itself is so professional and make me proud each time I pull up to the site. For such professionalism the office is tremendously priced. I wish the team great success but hope it comes with reasonable population growth, but who am I fooling, once word gets out, ok you know the rest. Tremendous locations, tremendous quality all at a tremendous price.”
“I am very happy with the support team, the sales team and my experience with Regus. They’ve been flexible and supportive through the ups and downs of my business during COVID and they make it a joy to come in to the office.”
“I enjoy being at the Regus Office I. Vaughan. John and Nikki are amazing. Very helpful and always adding a positive spin to my visits. Since the pandemic has hit I have not been in too often as I am high risk to this disease. My main problem is noise levels by other members.”
“Our experience has improved drastically after Akbar Maredia took over the Regus Energy Cor location. He is efficient and responsive in a timely manner as well.”
“Given the Covid situation I must applaud Paul at Two Kingdom St for his continued assistance and help throughout this time - very much appreciated!!!”
“I love the Regus service. For a small business like mine, I need flexibility and productive working space. The service, design, space and facilities are top rate.”
“They lie, misrepresent, overcharge, threaten and are totally unethical. On another review site they have about 93% bad reviews over the last 12 months just in the UK and that is over 460 reviews in 12 months. They have also had highly unfavourable articles in the Times and Guardian.
They have put one part of the US business in to chapter 11 And one hopes the same will happen here to so the ex customers that they harass are free of this terrible company. DO NOT IGNORE THE REVIEWS.”
“I have never in my life come across such egregious business practices. I will forever regret being naive and inadequately skeptical when I was searching for an office, which has now led to me paying $24,000 for an office that I cannot use due to covid-19. Had I done my research, I would have seen that this group is corrupt, greedy, and untrustworthy. But they lure you in with a cheap initial contract and nice facilities, and then the shady practices start to become revealed. They take your credit card information and automatically charge you each month, which would be convenient if the charges didn't vary every month. After they charged $3400 dollars, in addition to my monthly rent, I asked that my credit card be removed from the system. It took over a month and about 10 emails and phone calls to make this happen. And this was only after I had to go through the process of disputing the charge with the credit card company, simply because Regus wouldn't respond to me. Other charges would just show up, including "coffee access", which I never agreed to and was never informed would be an automatic charge. I only discovered that I was being charged for this almost a year into my lease, after I had not once used the coffee. Apparently it's your responsibility to "opt out" of that service without ever knowing that you had automatically "opted in".
Then there's the rent increases. I'm a therapist, so it's important for my patients to have consistency and stability. Even though I was dissatisfied with Regus, I planned to renew my lease for the benefit of my patients so they didn't have to readjust to a new setting. As you'll read in almost all other reviews, they jack up the rent exponentially and do an automatic renewal. When I say exponentially, I mean a 75% increase - and they just hope you won't notice and it will automatically renew. If you do notice, it's a complete production to get them to lower it - involving anything from emails going unanswered, to them saying they'll request a lower cost and then not following up, to them then offering a mildly lower cost that's still an unacceptable increase. With each renewal, I was frantically reaching out to someone as the automatic renewal approached.
Finally, at the beginning of covid-19, without knowing or understanding the impact of the pandemic, I resigned my lease for another year. Once I realized in early May that I would be unable to see patients in the office for a long period of time, I requested that my lease be terminated. Over the course of the next two months, I was given mixed messages and sent automated holdover emails while I continued to reach out, most contacts again going unanswered. I was eventually told that my request is denied. Meanwhile, a lot had changed with my own circumstances over those two months, and covid-19 forced me to change my life course, including my practice and my residence. So I no longer live in or practice in NY, which was explained multiple times to various Regus employees. Their responses ranged from insensitive to straight out disrespectful; but worst of all, they were not willing to work with me at all to find a solution. I consulted with lawyers, all of whom said that Regus writes their contracts strategically to give all the power to themselves and zero to the customer. Most contracts have a clause that states that in such an event as this pandemic, both parties are not obligated to fulfill their end of the contract - Regus, unsurprisingly, has this clause only for themselves. So that brings me to paying $24,000 for an office that is unusable to me.
Regus has caused me sleepless night, stress, and tears in the middle of an already challenging time. They are now taking revenge against me in any way they can because I pushed back against and escalated their denial of my termination request. They are a huge corporation that has no interest in customer satisfaction at best, and individual suffering at worst. If this review is able to save even one person the hardship that I've endured through Regus, it will have been worth it.”
“It’s my fault, I should have read the reviews before I allow myself to get involved and pay a painful price for my wrong decision.
Regus: worth £2.6 billion, they make loads of money by taking advantage of pandemic and ripping off small new businesses like me. I set up my new company last Oct and rented 2 desk space at Regus Almondsbury for £454.80/month for 6 months tenancy. They will pressurise you in signing the contract 2 months before the tenancy and demanding 2 months deposit and 1 months rent straight away. Please check your invoice every month and avoid DD, as they keep adding unnecessary charges on your invoice, for example kitchen and coffee use for £48/month when I didn’t sign up or use or drink coffee. Every month, I complained about it, but they still keep adding it on the invoice. When the pandemic strikes, I was on my 11th week, and had to stop working as massage therapist and therefore I cant use the room until the govt allows me too. Regus given me 50% discount for Apr and May in return, they extended my tenancy till Oct 2020. I asked Regus if they can provide more support after May, as I am still not allowed to work and, with no income and not eligible for any financial support. Regus idea of support is to further put me in debt, by offering me 2 months of discount but extending my tenancy till Apr 2021. So far, I have paid Regus for 6 months when I only used it for 11 weeks. At this rate, I will have paid Regus 10 months of rents and only managed to use the room for 11 weeks!!! I was told to get your deposit back, it will take 2 months. They are not making enough money, so they need to get to keep your tiny life savings for as long as they can, so they can live in their luxury lifestyle. I am pretty sure there are ethical landlords around who is not so greedy, so I will avoid this one, if you can.
Actual Rating: -1000 *********”
“As per the reports below, they lie and use very underhand tactics to make sure they get as much of your money as possible. Don’t trust anything they tell you or write to you, they will still send you the same contract and ignore any agreements written. Frankly you are being conned and they know that you will not want to take on a multinational PLC. DO NOT TAKE OFFICES WITH THEM you will regret it. Look on Trustpilot and Twitter and Glassdoor. One person could be bitter, but hundreds of clients and ex staff!!”
