“I love this mould for jesmonite but was slightly disappointed with the finish on my resin piece. The mould had a matte finish which is perfect for jesmonite/clay but left my dish a little flat.”

“My item cost me double due to the fees. Instead of 20, it cost me 40 and had to pay the difference to pick it up. Last time I buy something in the UK”

“Finding Resin8 has been delightful and provides a much needed UK supplier in light of Brexit. Been ordering from them since December 2020 and been fairly impressed with their pigments, textures and tools. There's been a couple of occasions where powders tops have come loose and spread everywhere on a parcel but for the price, it's almost a shame to put up a fuss. Shipping wise: they had an option for RoyalMail or couriers, which they have cancelled. From experience, couriers have been lethal especially if it's a name you don't recognise: cowboy behaviour which leads you to chase their current courier. They recently cancelled their loyalty scheme which is paid for the year which made the whole thing worth it. Prices have been slowly creeping up and I don't think it's worth it anymore and you can probably shop around.”

“I had to pay 23 euros in tax when the parcel arrived in France after you had already charged VAT. If you want to send products to European customers my suggestion would be to set yourself up so that VAT is not charged in the UK. Other companies are doing this well. I like your product and would buy more .....if I were not to be double taxed, thanks”

“Unfortunately I don’t find the metallic as good as the opaque colours, they don’t mix as well and the gold was very grainy, finished products aren’t as metallic looking as I thought they would be either, shame as opaque pigments great but disappointed in these sorry”

Hi Karen The metallic pigments separate from the binder easily, with a good stir they should mix up into a nice paste ready for resin. Would you like to send us a picture of the Pigment you have? We can investigate this further for you. Info@resin8.co.uk

With regards to the packaging I am delighted to say that all of the plastic looking packaging is actually biodegradable, and our packing peanuts are compostable, we take looking after the environment very seriously so we offset the carbon footprint of every single order we send out. “I totally love all the Resin8 products and they are of the most excellent standard. Top marks! However the new videos are creepy , the music is tacky and it looks really staged and boring.Sorry Resin8 but it does not sell your products well.”
