SCAM ALERT! This company is the biggest fraud to date. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately fell for their lies. Now i'm out $2k that couldve well gone to something or someone else that ACTUALLY DELIVERS THE MERCHANDISE YOU PLACE AN ORDER FOR. I am 2 months in since the $ was withdrawn & no product has arrived to my door. NEVER AGAIN - ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TEAM!!!

If you are a seller, beware. Reverb‘s (Etsy) uneducated listings dept will baselessly pull your listing claiming trademark “design” infringement and will threaten to suspend you if you relist. They provide no proof and no returned response to their baseless, ignorant claims. They are too lazy to present evidence to their claim or even return emails. You can’t call or talk to a human being anywhere other than chat which is USELESS. Theres been no trademark EVER filed for the design of the guitar I listed, and yet the uneducated listing dept cannot be bothered. I would look elsewhere to sell your items unless you want to deal with folks who could care less about their customer base, aka the people that pay their wages.

This company allowed their change of payment method- from PayPal to Reverb Payments- to impact their repeat customers as if they were brand new customers. Their "customer service" is non-existent and is OK with telling you there's nothing they can do. Highly recommend going elsewhere with your money.

The site was good in the beginning, now they don't give a damn if you need them, me as a seller and some buyer were involved in a ridiculous matter just because the lack of support from the site, they are pretty good charging you for everything, but when you need any support, forget about it, a bunch of silly kids doing nothing to help you out.

This business is a sham.It is ridiculous how they can't even realize if you have been paid or not.Your better to give your item away and feel good about it than deal with them

I ordered a guitar from a shop called Music Matters Florida. The guitar was listed as refurbished in mint condition. It showed up with a crack where the back of the through-body neck meets the body. I looked back at the listing pictures and could see the crack hidden in the glare of lighting. When I zoomed in, it looked like there was some image editing to blur the crack area. I messaged Reverb that I thought I may have been knowingly sent a broken instrument. They responded only that they could see I was refunded. I sent another message again stating my concern. They did not respond. I can't find a place to leave seller reviews on the site, but someone else has given them a review. Maybe Reverb doesn't let return orders leave reviews?

Paftone Handwired 5e3 Tweed Deluxe Clone 1x15 I asked for a refund because the seller sends me a guitar amp that is not working... He refused... Reverb is not acting to protect me... I paid for the amp, shipping, and tax and it is not working...

Terrible seller experience. Reverb hold money paid by customer until id is verified. Have tried to do this multiple times but passport is rejected as is other uk government id. Help desk cannot say why and cannot do anything about it. Avoid this site.

I bought a Used Source Audio True Spring Reverb from Mitch’s Gear. The pedal works great in pristine condition. It was packed very well for shipping. The pedal reproduces my Fender Deluxe Reverb. Thanks, Mitch. Very happy with purchase.

I've created a FB group for people to educate others on the truly pitiful company that Reverb is. It's called: Reverb.com Nightmare Tales

Done with Reverb, got burned on a guitar deal and was told since I paid with paypal I would have to file a claim with them which I did and won, during the process I never heard another word from Reverb, this wasnt the first problem I had had with their site, its pretty much anything goes so I closed my account, I will stick with ebay.

I purchased a microphone and they refunded my money, saying they already sold the item elsewhere. This was my first time doing business with them so I won't be back.

I purchased a guitar on reverb a few days ago. My phone autofilled the incorrect shipping address. No big deal, right? Wrong. I was advised to contact the seller, and request a refund. I assumed they would follow up with the seller. Wrong again. As of right now, the seller shipped my guitar and will not confirm to where he shipped it, my pending refund does not include the sales tax that I was charged for so I've been robbed, and Reverb hasn't contacted me with any useful information in 4 days. Regardless of how the situation is resolved for me, I can't say enough how terrible this service is. Everyone should avoid using this site! Oh one more thing! The seller didn't include a case in the price of the guitar, was forced to ship the guitar in its case, and is now asking me for MORE MONEY without telling me where the guitar is going to even show up.

They have a buyer policy that claims to protect your purchase with the guarantee of getting what you paid for. When a problem occurs and you request a refund based in fraud by the seller, Reverb allows the seller to refuse your request and than does NOTHING about it!! They will send useless emails claimt they are looking into it and it just goes round n round to no avail. Another business making clains that are simply FALSE!!

I bought a banjo through reverb which was listed as new and I paid the new price. When I received the banjo the box was marked used and had a price listed on it that was half of what I actually paid. After many attempts to get a partial refund I have up as the seller was located many many miles away. Reverb has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Reverb defends only the seller and cares nothing about the buyer. I will never shop on reverb again, and I have told many other friends to buy from any site except reverb. Horrible customer service!

They used to have a working phone # you could call & get someone in Chicago. Haven't sold anything for awhile, but won't do it again. Since I'm a return seller as soon as the package shows in transit I'm supposed to get paid, that was a almost 2 days ago. Tried to get help from the chat line. All they did was quote their payment policies, which they're not even following. Won't do business with them again & suggest you doing either, unless they remember where they came from and go back to those ways.

This company is horrible to deal with. Long ago when Reverb got started they had a practical approach to dealing with problems. Now, they are beyond difficult. We tried to buy a guitar and our account was immediately suspended for no given reason and with little or no ability to communicate with the company. This is the second bad experience with them. I did not report the first but now I will. The first experience was over a guitar that we sold, customer lied about the condition and Reverb sided with the customer. The customer didn't even return everything we sent them and Reverb still sided with them even though it was reported that the customer kept some of the order. So we closed the account. Reverb stated if we wanted to use Reverb again to open a new account...that's what we did and now look at how they are behaving. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this pathetic excuse for a shopping site.

Do you want to do business with a vendor who offers no help live phone support if there's something amiss with a transaction? Because that's reverb.com There was numerical error in my bank acct. # filed with them when they were to send a payout. I fixed the error 2 weeks ago and they said they had to wait for a 'bounce back' from my bank before resubmitting payment. Then they just dropped the ball on me. Not responding to my emails.

Reverb use to be a great place to sell and buy equipment but lately the customer base leaves a lot to be desired. Reverb has chosen to back and support the buyers regardless of proof or inspection of any claims. The long time seller is now the bad guy no matter what. The relations department is rude and non caring towards the seller.stick with eBay and avoid the Reverb hassle.
