This place is like Yelp 2.0.... what a shitshow. All kinds of shady activity going down over at reverb.com. I’m surprised they’re still in business. They can’t even follow their own site rules. Sellers not shipping items in 3 days and they do nothing but jack you around and stall you forever to avoid refunding/cancelling your order after the seller has clearly not shipped the item. AVOID!!! What a nightmare as a buyer. I had to call my CC company after the endless email games they play and offloading the work of getting a refund on to you, the customer. They make you request it from the seller who hasn’t shipped your item. What is this bizarro clown world Reverb operates from? -10000000 ⭐️

Reverb is protecting bad sellers that are selling bad gear. They make returning items very difficult. I cancelled my account because of this. In addition, they are even preventing bad feedback of these sellers. Definitely a corrupt and risky company. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

Was sent a broken guitar and I’m still fighting to get my refund it’s been over a month. Customer service has been giving me the runaround. The Guitar was already sent back to the seller and signed for there shouldn’t be any delay in my refund. At this point I have very little faith I going even get my refund back think I might be out 1600. I will never use reverb again.

Bought a guitar never came . Took over a month to get my money back. Customer service doesn't care about you, just your wallet. Great place to scam people out of money.

Bought korg pa4x on Reverb turned out to be scam .lost my money Reverb no help and gave seller my details ie: phone number thats how I got scammed. No help what so ever .will not use again beware..

SOLD a new unused guitar(had to list as used) epiphone lazarus,guitar new never played . reverb has all these fee's that wipe out your profit they made more money than i did on transaction sold for $1023 after all reverb fees they are sending $859.11 taxes, listing fee, seller fee, bump fee this was a total ripoff WARNING DO NOT sell your gear on Reverb site, they will give you WAY less money , and charge you alot of money, to sell your gear, AND LOSE MONEY IN THE PROCESS REVERB IS A RIPOFF SITE I WILL NEVER BUY OR SELL FROM THEM again and im telling all of my music students to avoid being scammed, by Reverb.com

I'm DONE with reverb. They have "ZERO" communication. Seller are ripping buyers off left and right, what does Reverb do.... "NOTHING" as long as they are making big money, screw everyone else. Took me for over $1000 with "O" communication! "TOTAL SCAM"

There is zero human interaction, you simply cannot deal with anything other than a bot. I got $180 for my first sale and I received $127. It’s online days ago and I need to return a small amount to the purchaser, who is not pleased. They suck.

The 7 day window will ruin you! 7 days to report an issue or you’re screwed! Buying the musician in your family a gift? AVOID REVERB AT ALL COSTS! Say you order some pickups. You better hope your tech can fit you in within 7 days of the delivery date, if not, and your tech finds an issue, well guess what?! You now are the proud owner of a defective product and there’s nothing you can do about it after 7 days. 7 days 7 days 7 days, that’s all they’ll say. If I wanted to hear that I’d just watch The Ring. Thanks reverb! Thanks for wasting my time and money!

received an email purported from Reverb wanting last 4 digits of my social to receive a 1099 k for 2021. Ha! i didn't sell anything on reverb in 2021. Nice try.

The agent only attended me by email...He answered me days apart and even told me that he couldn't do anything because he had no authority...I asked to speak to a superior and I'm still waiting...They make the decision they want without speaking and even if you have proof and guarantee they do nothing ... To the point of running out of money and without an article

They charge sellers fees on top of fees, they payout incredibly slowly, and they do not adhere to their own timelines and commitments. I've sold over 20 items on Reverb and have regretted it each and every time I've done it (slow learner, I know). Not to mention their huge fees ensure that no buyer can get a good deal whilst the seller also feels like they didn't get fair market value. Everyone loses expert reverb who take a huge commission for... I'm not sure why they think they deserve such a huge commission to be honest. At least brick and mortar stores have some sort of overhead to justify their fees. I find it hard to believe that the website costs that much to maintain. Anyways, I've done my last transaction through them. Hopefully this review can help others learn from my mistakes.

I bought a brand new guitar that had numerous flaws when received from reverb...what a mistake! Do your research then check the BBB site! I gave up after 2 weeks of asking for a refund. They'll wear you down asking you to fill out forms, contact the seller, sending pictures, etc. It was my first and last purchase.

Seller Beware! What a rip off! Sold an item, shipped item, buyer received item. Buyer text me saying he loves the item, gave me a great review. I've given Reverb my credit card number and my bank account number and password to get paid but still haven't been paid. I shipped item four weeks ago. Can't call. I emailed, they emailed back but still no money in my account. Never again will I use Reverb.

I've been scammed a $1000.00 - however if you want to scam a seller - claim a refund during shipping. The product will arrive and then you can counter the refund for a significant amount less than the original. If the seller refuses - keep the product or ship it back in an empty package. Scam away!

Reverb's policies don't stand up for the buyer when it really counts. I purchased an item, it was accepted, gave the credit card, the money changed hands fine, and the seller told me that it'd be shipping out shortly. The seller then reneged, and refunded me all in one swoop. I complained to Reverb, but there was no recourse, as the seller had already refunded me. Why Reverb allows a seller to do this (renege on agreement) is beyond me. The seller probably made a side deal and got more money. Another kicker is that I'm not allowed to leave a review for the seller (Bob's Gear Outlet in NH), on the Reverb site, as it was never shipped.

Never get involved with REVERB. TRIED BUYING A GUITAR OVER A WEEK. WAS APPROVED FOR FULL AMOUNT BY AFFIRM. TRIED MAKING PURCHASE 3 TIMES. Each time the sale said it was successful and each time the web page kicked me back to the purchase page so I had to repeat the process. Contacted REVERB. They said try a different internet connection, so I tried the purchase at my work place. SAME STORY. They offered no assistance other than to try fixes that were up to me rather than admit their website sucks. It was everybody's fault but theirs. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SAERVICE.

Went on there the first time to buy some ear pads, and couldn't sign up as I got flagged for some security reason. Well I went through verification and still stuck. Contacted them and no response. Never even been on their site before, and automatically banned, even with different email address. It's one thing that they auto-ban new customers for no reason, but they don't respond to any requests for help why it happened. I've given up and now I wouldn't buy anything there if you paid me with the fact they have no customer support, and even if you've never been there you can get banned/suspended even before you sign up.
