They block your money for long time and then you ask for update and they just say wait

They block accounts without telling any reason. They simply block your acc, wait for two-three weeks, and then deactivate it. It doesn't make any sense to use this service.

I NOTICED A TRANSACTION THAT WAS NOT APPROVED FROM ME FOR 65.12 THE ONLY WAY TO CONTACT THEM IS EITHER VIA EMAIL OR CHAT SO I TEMPORARLIY SIGNED UP TO GET TO A CHAT AGENT . THEY WERE NOT HELPFUL AND SEEMED NOT TO CARE THAT THEY TOOK OUT THE LAST OF MONEY I HAD I WILL BE CALLING MY BANK TOMORROW 12/26/2023 AND DISPUTE IT I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR THIS AT ALL

Really bad service. Was trying to send money to brother in law abroad. They blocked the transaction and reported me for suspicious activity. I did send payment through western union. Avoid

I once ran a business and had an employee I trusted. Unfortunately, after prepaying him for his services, he absconded with my money. Subsequently, I opened disputes with Revolut, following advice from PayPal to dispute these payments through my bank, which in this case was Revolut. However, my experience revealed that Revolut is adept at making excuses and shows reluctance to recover any lost funds. They seemed indifferent to the plight of their clients. My confrontations highlighted their inconsistencies – they initially refused my disputes on the grounds that the transactions were categorized as 'family and friends,' but offered no resolution when I pointed out others that weren't. Their response was dismissive, simply stating, 'The decision is final.' This inflexibility, in my view, reflects a broader issue with Revolut's approach to customer service, especially in fraud cases, as supported by similar experiences shared online. I strongly encourage anyone facing similar issues to report them to the financial ombudsman. There have been instances where intervention by financial authorities compelled Revolut to issue refunds to their clients. Moreover, I advise considering the closure of your Revolut account, as I am planning to do with mine. If a financial service fails to support its customers in disputing clear scams, especially when entities like PayPal suggest bank disputes, it questions the reliability of such a service. Adding to the concerns, Revolut's own platform security has been compromised in the past, leading to significant financial losses for users. If you've been a victim of a scam and Revolut is unresponsive or unhelpful, do not hesitate to contact the financial ombudsman for support

They do not have your back. Their investigation into a scam was superficial and went no further than "it's your own fault." I will be closung my account asap

absolutley do not use. impossible to get your funds, impossible app to use, impossible customer service. zero help at all. had to close my account to get my money and that took forever with lots of loop holes to jump through! do not use!

Completely TERRIBLE customer service! The card is frozen just about every other time you use it for security issues for no reason! It's SO frustrating!!!

I was tricked and without looking carefully I pressed the approval button. Yes, the mistake was mine, but … Immediately, after that I contacted the support, saw that the status was Pending, told them everything, instead of canceling the request and refunding my money, they told me that they were very sorry and it would be better to get a new card. It was really disappointing experience because I know that the status was Pending.

If it were possible for me to rate them with a zero, I would. The support I received was absolutely terrible. I strongly suspect that they are engaging in fraudulent activities. They are preventing me from accessing my own hard-earned money, which is both frustrating and absurd. It's truly comical how the entire team consists of individuals who lack basic intelligence. I have been communicating with them for over a week now, and it feels like I'm talking to my own family members. This experience has left me completely drained and frustrated. I deeply regret ever having any involvement with them. It's clear that they are regulated scammers. This is a perfect representation of their work ethic.

Their customer support is really really bad. Can't say I ever experienced such a bad service from a tech company (I work in tech by the way). They take forever to answer a basic question and then move you from one team to another without passing on the information. All in all, I upgraded to a paid plan and couldn't access any of the paid-for features, and when I asked them about it, I had the following (very poor) answers: 1) it's because you're based in Spain (not true, the features are accessible in Spain as clearly stated everywhere on their website) so then they came up with 2) you have an upgraded plan but your account is basic so that's why it doesn't work (which made no sense, why would the plan be upgraded and not the account) and then 3) oh yes it's because we made a mistake do you want to upgrade to a new plan ? => NO I just want to have access to the features I'm paying for ! This took 1 week of back and forth by the way because they were always "very busy at the moment so please allow 30 minutes before an answer" which usually came hours after.

Zero customer service. Every time I got transaction in question, my card is frozen and I spend hours with 'customer service team🥲🥲🥲' to unfreeze it. Avoid this outfit!!!

The system needs to be shut down… The system needs to be shut down urgently! Even the money you send to yourself doesn't come and they confiscate everyone's money. They give copy/paste answers, then say within 30 days, and blame your bank. They are probably keeping your money and using it! Stay away!

Personal account locked down for no valid reason. Support team has been extremely unhelpful and literally useless. At first in app contact they stated that restriction was imposed because I might had been a victim of a scam or fraud. I responded that I had not experienced any financial loss nor detected any other sign of interference related to the above allegation. Instead, case review team started collecting information on my external bank accounts and crypto investment platforms even though this had nothing to do with the assumed scam event. After receiving required documents continued keeping my account locked forcing me to make the following statement: "Revolut has warned me in app chat that this is likely a scam. I confirm that I am not being assisted with my transaction and understand that Revolut is unlikely to recover my funds if I proceed" which I refused until they could specify the exact reason or event for it, however, Revolut refused to give any. No other solution has been offered so far. Due to Revolut failure to observe my statutory consumer rights I have requested an account closure.

Absolutely shambolic customer service. Have displayed contempt for the customer. No telephone support. Clueless chat support. Refusal to adress the actual issue at hand. Repeatedly sent a Template about how to complain. As soon as I can make alternative banking arrangements, I will close my revolut account. Truly an unnecessarily distressing experience. The Board of Revolut should be ashamed!.
