Created a Revolut account. I sent money from him to the Ukrainian Monobank, a euro card. Made a few trial transactions, no commission. With full confidence I spent the 4th after a couple of months - the commission from the transfer of 50 euros is 25 euros. At the same time, Revolut does not notify about the specific amount, referring to the work of the “intermediary bank”. I believe that the intermediary bank may well be some kind of pocket bank through which stolen funds are divided and withdrawn. Online support responds to all questions in the style of “my hut is on the edge, I don’t know anything.” I believe that this is a global phenomenon and a lot of users can be deceived in this way and used to earn money by Revolut Bank UAB. They did not want to send me information about the "Intermediary Bank" for a day and a half, referring to the fact that this information is not at the disposal of Revolut. Two days later they sent it, it was the German bank DEUTSCHE BANK AG, sender's deductions: SHA / SHAR / 25.00 EUR. What is: SHA / SHAR / 25.00 EUR - no one explains and is not going to explain. The argument that such things are conditioned by Revolut's internal contracts with third parties is not responded to. Revolut brazenly steals funds from users' cards, hoping for customers' unwillingness to understand the current situation. This is a direct violation of the client's rights to be familiar with the user agreement, to conduct transactions based on agreements, to know and understand the amount of commissions and other important details. They do not answer questions, distort information, ignore the essence of the question. Transparency from Revolut in relation to its customers should not be expected. I PLEASE distribute this information as much as possible in order to notify people who still wish to cooperate with this "pseudo" bank.

Following being scammed, I contacted Revolut to ascertain if they could recover the lost money. Since June 20th 2023 until June 24th 2023 my chat has been handed from chat operator to chat operator with 10 chat operators who are unable to read the previous chat history and just keep asking the same questions. So after 4 days of chatting I have got no where and now realise that the chat line is a total waste of time and when you require true service from Revolut it is not forthcoming

The system does not work as they say, I opened an account with a $150 monthly charge to make international wire transfers, but 90% of the transfers failed. Opened a support ticket, for 3 weeks all they say is 'rest assured we are working on it'. So I have asked them to cancel the account and they say you have to pay for 3 months because we sent you a metal card???? Who cares about a crappy metal card? So I am out $450 because they have lied. They are unable to send wire transfers. And they will take your money while shamelessly telling you 'rest assured' and nothing else for weeks. It's a scam. Definitely do not open a paid account and definitely don't get that crappy, useless metal card. What is the big deal about a debit card made of metal anyway?

Has anyone had the bank suddenly closed and money withheld? 564 pounds!!! Nothing suspicious at all on my account. Been using it for a few years. Paying rent, bills, food shopping and the odd transfer. Not someone new, nothing different at all. In total shock and now I have to wait up to 28 working days for an update!!! I don't want to bank with them at all, I just want MY money.

This website is fake and do not deposit any money. They allow you to withdraw money 1-2 times. then when they get trust they charge 25% tax on your wallet balance money. You will be forced to transfer more amounts in order to save your money. Then you go bankrupt. report them to BROADOAK-CAPITAL .C0M and get all your funds back .

For past 6 weeks I have both emailed and messaged revolut via messenger seeking help. I stopped using my account months ago however left account balance in credit. Six weeks ago I received an email from revolut threatening debt recovery action for a debt owed. Several days after sending a message prompts a reply saying I am checking your notes.....then nothing further! No replies to my emails either including ones sent to revolut executive team. This afternoon I am told they no longer answer emails, messenger service is futile as cannot offer support and they have no facility to ring customers. I am told if I refuse to re-activate my dormant account, taking yet more selfies, they will provide zero response to my concerns. So 6 weeks and numerous messages sent, I remain in limbo All sounds good until something goes wrong, and then you see the true colours....its scary beyond belief.

My mother's card was deactivated and Revolute won't let her get a new one, refuse to tell her why? Extremely slow customer service. Very annoyed and disappointed

Absolutely appalling customer service. I've had my account frozen without knowing why and being given a timescale for it to be unfrozen. I've been left with no food for myself or family, no means of getting to work and as of Friday no gas or electric. I've had 10 different people dealing with me who each have told me my account is limited. I've had to repeat myself over and over and over. I've asked to close my account which was refused. When I've asked for a timescale no one knows and I get told to be patient. It is a truly unacceptable situation and driven me to nearly take my life.

Revolut is a terrible company, they refuse to accept my change of name for verification. I am a French citizen and only recently the French government has accepted Change of Name documents. I have a deed poll supplied by the UK and the right to work in the UK. It is surprising how I can apply for : University University Credit Barclays Bank / Personal / Business Lloyds Capital One & More What Revolut taught me and what its staff said is that they can not pass me through verification with my change of name documents, even though I have legally changed this. I changed my name due to marriage and its complications that came with it, now I have to deal with my protected characteristics and take Revolut to court (which I have already escalated).

Complete disregard for customers and their data.. this organisation and its DPO clearly have no interest in respecting customers' wishes re their data. I barely used this account and many, many years ago. After witnessing their responses to a simple data request a massive red flag has been raised and I will make sure that I avoid this questionable outfit like the plague in future. The matter is now in the hands of the ICO.

If you are thinking of opening an account, my honest advise DONT. They rejected a payment saying not enough funds on my account (I had to pay on Amex card in the end), but strangley, despite saying not enough funds they continue to hold on to $2.055 and say they will not refund it back for 4 weeks, so 22 June. They can give no explanation as to why they rejected the payment or why they are holding on to MY money. No wonder they can't get a UK banking license. Stay clear.

I send three complain forms and i dint get any answer by Revolut. Customer service very poor, service very bad. The worst bank in the world, no attention to the need of they customers.

Can not believe what a scam bank is that. Yesterday, I had a fraud of 600euros taken from my account in 27 transactions. The bank haven't even contacted me to inform the suspicious activity. They ignored my concerns and therefore I can not be refunded the missing money. They should be taken their licence away for such!

Apart from the revolving door of senior executives, when it goes wrong, Revolut's customer service is appalling. They have currently "lost" $2500 of my wife's money, sent from a US bank to Revolut 4 weeks ago. After denying they ever received it, when confronted with the wire trail, they initially denied it was accurate, blaming the sending bank, before eventually conceding that there was a fault at their end. But they won't interact with the sending bank which has asked to reverse the transaction to get the money returned, and their app just has an endless stream of excuses from multiple customer service reps who have no accountability to put things right. They don't deserve a banking licence until they can sort out their customer service. We heard of another case today where someone has been waiting for over a year for a $5k transfer to be returned. Don't keep any money you can't afford to lose with Revolut.

Let the companies steal your money. Reject chargeback in obvoious situations like cancelation od the flight. Claim that the decission is final, but after of half an hour discussion they can change their mind.

The app is awful! I tried to set up an account on Revolut as a Canadian expat in an European country. During the signup process, every single time my selfie was rejected and I repeatedly got error messages when trying to upload a scan of my passport. When I tried to log in to complete my sign-up, I continually was stuck on a loop where I enter my phone number, am asked for a passcode I never created, click on "Forgot my passcode", get an e-mail to reset the passcode, and the e-mailed link is to the same page in the app asking for a passcode or to click "Forgot my passcode". I also was unable to change my phone number after obtaining a permanent number. Customer service was unable to help me complete the sign-up, though not really through any faults of theirs. The Revolut chat app routinely froze, and it was a long process of multiple selfies and pictures of my passport or driver's license to get back into the app to chat. The customer service people weren't responsible for the app glitches so I felt bad for them, they probably got loads of complaints over how poorly designed the app is.

I would not recommend to use Revolut at all, because it’s absolutely unclear service and terrible customer support. 1. If you bought upper plan with necessary services, you calculated cost and profit for this plan, relax, all options of this plan can be changed any time. You never get your profit. 2. If you have serious issue, you never got resolution. They can only reply by a chat and you never know what you are speaking with. I spent 7 days chatting with different people who appeared in the same chat and asked me the same questions and finally escalated my case. I was exhausted to explain the same things 5 times, and my chat is still open and I still did not get answer. I do not even know how much time else I should spend. I just needed to transfer my trading positions to another broker, as my husband and some other my acquaintances did. However, I was not able to do it and Revolut support teams cannot advised anything, they just redirected me from account support team to trading support team and back and each of them know only part of the issue, but no one can resolve whole issue. It’s a shame.

Absolutely disgusting actions from automated so called artificial intelligence systems. This is what happens when you put your trust in these things. My poor mother is going back home for the first time in 10 years and this is what they do to her on Saturday the 13th of May at 1 am! Ridiculous!

I sent a referral link to a friend on May 5th, the friend immediately ordered a physical payment card for £5 and the card arrived 11th May. The final steps to complete the referral offer was for the invitee to make three £5 purchases with the card. I checked the status of the referral at that point and saw that the referral deadline had expired in the app! I contacted Customer Service who informed me that the deadline to fulfill the offer was 9th May, two days BEFORE the friend even received the card. The offer was therefore literally impossible to fulfill and is an absolute scam. Revolut refused to honour the offer. If anyone else has had the same experience I would suggest they get their friends/family/invitee to chargeback the £5 fee for the physical card to the original payment method, close their Revolut account, and look into Monzo or Starling both of whom offer far superior service.
