I got scammed and as with the other reviewers got no support and they denied my claims. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Everything is OK with Revolut until something goes wrong and then everything is rubbish. The problem is their customer service. They have no telephone number only a chat facility which you can access only through the app, which is a big problem if your issue is that you can't access the app. Also even when you do have access to the app the chat is the worst one I have experienced. I have waited up to an hour for responses sometimes and I would say average wait time for responses is 20 to 30 mins. Who has that amount of time to sit and wait on responses it is ridiculous. We have complained and complained and complained about our issues over the past month and NOTHING has been done. All communication has been via email which is slow and usually they don't read the email properly, the amount of times we have received responses telling us we need to do this and that on the app!! We can't even access the app!! We are so frustrated to the point that we just want the account cancelled and our money back but even that seems impossible. If you want to risk it it is good for abroad spending with no charges but if u have an issue u have no access to your money and u have no means of quick resolution.....do you want to risk it is the question? I do not recommend

Scam payment platform. Set up an account and made a couple of payments, then when I paid £1,000 into my revolute account they blocked my account and refused to let me have my own money. Looks like I have been scammed by Revolut and lost £1,000 - do not trust this app / payment platform. They just quote terms and conditions and take your money. After it happened to me I began to look online and I am just the latest in a long line of Revolut victims where Revolut has blocked aggounts and refused to gove people their money or assets back. This is a scam banking / payment platform. They can just block or close your account and take your money.

I got scammed and my account emptied because of Revolut's horrible security measures. I authorized a 0$ transaction in what turned out to be a scammers website, just to connect Google pay with my Revolut account. After that the scammers could easily withdraw everything from my account. Revolut claims that I should have received a notification for every single transaction and I authorized these payments, but of course I never received any notifications. If they admitted responsibility, they would also have to admit how bad their security measures are. It is horrifying how easy it is to steal from their bank and how little they care.. avoid at all costs

Use to be good. But ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING lately. I sent money to my partner which needed to send this money by card transfer because revolut was not accepted for payment. We made the card transfer in April over 700 euro and it was not received into the bank which we sent it. Now revolut say card transfers goes usually in minutes or up to 30 minutes. It's not near the end of July and we still have no outcome. Everyday we are on the online chat at one point we were told they found the money and it would be refunded in 72 hours and then we got a different person every 5 minutes on the chat and now are saying different we need to wait. Sick of waiting I don't know why they can't just refund this money as it's there fault it is lost as it was sent from revolut but there trying to blame it on the other bank. SCANDALOUS

I’m a freelancer and opened a freelancer Pro account with Revolut about a month ago. I have multiple clients who pay me at different days. First they held one payment and asked to upload documents like the invoice which I did, they approved it. Then they held another payment two over two days before reverting it back to the client!! Then they told me that it happened because my account was restricted and under review which no one even notified me about! How can you offer a freelancer account and then question every freaking payment. I’ve never experienced a worse bank then Revolut and will be closing the account ASAP.

Abominable bank. Hackers cleared out my stepdaughters account and they will not reimburse her. Revolution are a scam. We pay their bonuses and they can’t assist their customers.

Hi all, this Revalut bank is a scam do not open a personal account or business account with them. Once you received the money in to your account they will just put you on a review. Where your customers can’t deposit money Noor you can use any of the faculties on the app. Without any warning. Your money will be there for months intel they finish there review. The live chat they have on the app. They can’t help you they don’t even know what’s happening. You’re left in the dark for weeks. This what happening with me at the moment. I have a hold on my money. I can’t send money to my suppliers Noor I can receive money from my customers. What is reason? My account is on review and they can’t even tel why it is on review. Worst worst worst place to bank with. Please please don’t use these online banks.

I referred my friend when the May rewards scheme was running. She did all the steps correctly. I screen shotted what she needed to do to ensure this and we deliberately waited till the reward scheme began to use my link to open her account. We didn't get the reward. Upon contacting revolut, they advised that there was no reward scheme at the time of her referral despite my screenshot evidencing that there was. If planning to refer a friend, I would avoid as scheme is a scam.

This is a disgrace of a bank that has no morals of basic human compassion! My autistic daughter who suffers from anxiety got scammed by someone who made her set up a Revolut account and took the money extremely fast without any type of security or help, especially with someone with her condition. We spoke to one of their reps who was a heartless disgrace and basically told us to go screw ourselves! They should be investigated, it’s like they’re in cohorts with the fraudsters!

THIS BANK IS SCAMMING YOU! My card was fraudulently used, Revolut refused to investigate explaining i must know the transaction as there are no other fraudulent transactions at the time. There were no other transactions period, hence how i knew it was fraudulent. Additionally, I was told i must pay for a replacement card if i want one. i am 99% sure this practice and approach to claims is not legal. Otherwise this bank is using loop holes to operate illegal practices, legally.

Revolut don’t wanna return money to my 13 old daughter after someone use her card and took her savings! They refused and saying that she press the button and agree with the payment which literally she been at school this time. Shame on you revolut! We took all our money from there and we will never use again this app because that’s not bank (now I know) it’s not safe!!! People don’t use this app, I think they stealing people money by them self and after they claiming they can’t help you!!!! Shame shame shame

Restricted my £40K as soon as it landed Revolut, in the name of “worried about my funds security” whilst I have zero, none pending transfer outing or incoming whatsoever. Spoke to customer service for an hour, answered all questions, but still needs more review which they say takes 1-12 business days. So I wonder what they do with my money during this period?

Don't trust! On 22nd May I clicked on the referral widget in my app and referred my friend. The information said that if I referred someone and they hit the four criteria by 28th May I would be given a reward of up to £200. When I didn't get the reward I checked my referral list and it said my invitee missed the deadline for making three payments of at least £5. However, he had made these by 25th May, three days before the deadline I was given. I raised a dispute and Revolut said that the promotion actually ended on 7th March and I couldn't get the reward because my invitee hadn't made all his payments before then. Not only is this not the deadline I was given at the time, but it is nearly THREE MONTHS before my invitee was referred. How could he possibly be expected to make the payments three months in the past? It is impossible. Clearly the information and coding at the back end of this offer was wrong on my app and I think this is pretty clear. The fact I am now being denied my reward on this basis under this ridiculous technical argument is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY wrong.

It was bearable before, but now it has become poor and disgusting! App lagging all the time, thousands times of verification, which just doesn't work and you waste hours for making one transaction, and afterwards associates send you tones of unrelated questions! All reviews on Revolut itself thoroughly selected, of course only positive ones!

They act like scum, the app does not do anything useful, and you could lose all your money. I can not log in or use my phone or email because apps keep crashing. My God, I am so glad I went through this now because I was going to move all of my money to them and make them my main bank, but now I am going to close my account.

This is a wannabe bank. Bank with them at your own peril. In the event that you have an issue with your transactions, they will copy and paste archaic robotic points, with manipulative and patronising gestures, pretending to "customer care" for reviews and frustrate you without any solutions. Stay away from this bank. Save yourself the eventual heartache.

Most worse app / bank ever. Even if u block any merchant, they can charge u anyways! And u dont get ur money back!!! This service is bad! I dont get my money back even i did block the merchant months ago, they was able to charge me. Bad revolut. Used u for 4 years, and i will not anymore!!
