I am grateful to the agent for his call to me, otherwise I would now be without house contents insurance cover. I'm sorry I can't remember his name, but I found him to be very polite, helpful and efficient. I cannot fault the service and would recommend Rias to friends and family.

for years now I have insured my house and contents, also my car insurance with RIAS, always pleased to negotiate. Just waiting to get my quote for my car insurance.

I tried to organise on line but was not successful,however the lady I spoke to the next day was very helpful and organised everything speedily

RIAS insurance offers competitive prices, ease of renewal, good service and for me peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend to any driver over 50 to get a quote. I have saved significant cash by using RIAS insurance as have other friends and family.

I've insured two cars as well as my house buildings and contents with RIAS for five years or more I believe. I've stuck with them in spite of the fact that at each renewal the premium requested is invariably a lot more than the previous year and we've never made a claim. I find it tedious to have to trawl comparison sites before phoning RIAS and threatening to go elsewhere before obtaining a reasonable renewal price as I prefer to stay loyal to the company in the probably mistaken idea that I will be fairly treated in the event of a claim. In addition RIAS only offer a 0345 telephone number for renewals costing me even more. However they quote free 0800 numbers for new business if you want one of their other insurance products. This year they requested 11% more for my wife's car. 59% more for our home insurance and 32% more for my car insurance which I have yet to challenge!

Fairly easy (quick) to get through to the renewals Department. Once through I was dealt with in a friendly, efficient and professional way. Although I was advised of other add-ons to my policy I never felt pressured. I also had a couple of queries relating to my policy where I required some extra clarification. Frankly if I had been hassled or subjected to anything other than a clear explanation it would have put me off and I may not have renewed.

My concern was that my renewal notice did not arrive, yet when I rang up 2 days before due, I was told it had been sent.... There was no follow up to check why I had not renewed.... I can confirm that my renewal was never received.!

I did not receive a renewal advice until after the renewal date, if I had not checked my expiry date on my policy I would have been driving with out insurance....!!! This is certainly not good enough..........!!! This then left me little time to appraise your insurance offer which had again increased in price......!!

The initial conversation was ok, but we have received two letters telling us we did not have insurance with you, Six confirmation of the insurance policy?? What a waste of time and paper. I rang you again to get confirmation that we were ok with the car policies, but this should have been totally unnecessary. It does not instill confidence in the company, whom we have our household insurance as well.

My options were clearly set out and the costs plainly detailed. The overall product was 'Comprehensive cover at a reasonable cost'.

Overall we find R.I.A.S Insurance a good product we have been with R.I.A.S quite a few years now so that speaks for its self Sincerely David Gaul
