Had a bit of a bother downloading the full RIAS Policy booklet. I had to ring to get the policy number as I only had the original quotation reference no. as a guide. Nevertheless OK now. Staff courteous on the telephone and helpful too.

Sorted the renewal out without any problem, i just altered date of house build records were showing 1963 i thought it was 1973 your adviser stated (in a not too friendly tone) that it should be correct or it would invalidate the policy. After the policy paperwork arrived i found out the conveytance for our house showing when it was sold to the first purchaser where upon i saw it was first sold in 1974, so i rang to inform you of the one year out the adviser i spoke to on that occassion staated that the date only need to be to the best of my knowledge. The reason for the "Normal" review is due to the second time i rang to change the date i waited over 10 minutes to speak to an adviser which is not acceptable.

Pleasure to deal with.They found I had not been given discount for other policies with them and deducted it from the premium due immediately.

Have always received courteous response when phoning and efficient handling of paperwork, but as yet I have not received any confirmation of my motor insurance arranged with you last week. Yours sincerely Peter Reeves.

The web site was easy to use and the prices were clearly stated. Out of three quotes RIAS was the middle one. I hope that the renewal price in a years time will also be so reasonable! My only criticism was the follow up phone calls which rather intrusive.

No satisfactory answer why the cost of my insurance had increased by 50percent as no claim had been made.

I have stayed with RIAS because they reduced the cost. However. they should not have increased it by so much in the first place. I understand why you do this and it has nothing to do with improved service and customer service and all to do with profit. I can get similar cover for at least £50 less than I am paying. If the cost increases next year I will be moving.

A couple of years ago, I scanned the market looking for cheaper car insurance. I found the cheapest most suitable insurers were Rias. However, prices have gone up considerably and I am disappointed that even with a 80% NCB, my premium is now over £250. That equates to a base premium of over £1,250, for 3 drivers all over 40.

Have insured with RIAS for many years now (that gives an idea of my age!!) and have always found the people on the end of the phone to be most helpful have not had to make a claim as yet but hope that they would be just as kind in the event.

For home insurance,your agents are very polite and understanding.I am very pleased to continue my home insurance with RIAS. your agents for car insurance are not the type of person I would like to business,they have no understanding and they were rather rigid in their thinking,for which I had to change to a differet insurer.your agents do not beleive in loyalty and are not worried wheather i continue my insurance for car with RIAS.I am very much dissapoined the way I was dealt

Phoned to renew my Buildings and Contents insurance, the person I spoke to was very helpful ,polite and friendly , which makes a nice change.

I recently changed my insurance over to another vehicle the first lady I spoke to was very nice and helpful but when I phoned back I had a gentleman but I found him very rude . He didnt want to explain anything he just wanted to read from a script I know there are certain procedures you need to follow but I found him really unhelpful
