“Richard Etherington dealt with our case after my son was charged with possession of an offensive weapon. Richard was extremely committed to helping us and very professional. He kept in touch during the whole process, regularly. His expert advice on getting character references proved to be a turning point in my sons case. Richard was incredibly hard working , very understanding and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. The original charge was changed and my son received a caution due to Richards efforts. He was also very reasonably priced. Highly recommended and I am extremely grateful the outcome was the right one.”

“The support and professional advice given me by Victoria Rees and Richard Etherington has been enormously helpful. Their communications have been clear, detailed and containing of my anxieties in relation to a difficult professional situation. Their assistance over several months has been in the form of emails, phone-calls and liaison with the police on my behalf. They were patient with my lack of knowledge of legal processes and systems and took time to clarify that I understood what might happen, including the options available to me. They were able to contain many of my anxieties and I felt very well supported. Overall they have provided an excellent service, for which I am most grateful.”

“I have worked with Pam Dosanj who took the time assess my situation in a completely non-judgemental and professional stance. Pam was not only empathetic but firm and fair with her appraisal of the situation which helped me to have a very realistic view of the process and possible outcomes. Throughout Pam has taken the time to understand the circumstances of my case and has given me a number of key strategical points to raise. The process is expensive but there is clear value for money when you consider the depth of conversation and advice Pam is able to give based on her expertise. I have felt much more confident having Pam secretly in my corner and face the following proceedings armed with much better knowledge and a sense of optimism that I can prevail.”

“I was in so much distress when I received my pre-registration exam result. It was my third attempt and I had lapsed my eight year timeframe . I only realised I might have a ground to appeal a week before the GPHC appeal deadline . Despite all the unfortunate odd , the Richard Nelson team put me at ease and helped me to achieve the result I had hoped and more. Special thanks to Victoria Rees for all the prompt replies to the endless emails I had send and being an angel at my difficult time .”

“I used Richard Nelson for a civil case in an area where they had a clear specialism involving family matters concerning theft from a dementia-struck parent by family members. The advice was accurate and the service first class. My expectation was set most realistically and both lawyers concerned were able to predict various actions and outcomes with a remarkable degree of accuracy. As a consequence we were able to achieve a very positive outcome, actually beyond my initial expectation. I would certainly use Richard Nelson again.”

“Huge thanks to Jonathan for his support with our appeal in regards to a DBS bar representation. He displayed high levels of professionalism during our conversations and continued to be non-judgemental throughout despite the difficult conversations. At first we were unsure whether we be able to afford the costs required however I can honestly say to anyone uncertain or unsure on the fence that it was 100% the right choice. “Our recent experience of asking Richard Nelson to make an appeal to the DBS against barring was extremely positive. The partner involved, Jonathan Wright, mastered the somewhat intricate facts of our case with great professional expertise and turned them into a very well-argued and forceful submission which secured the desired outcome for our son. What impressed me particularly was that Jonathan discovered a telling flaw that we had overlooked in the evidence that had been supplied to the DBS by the police - a factual error which we suspect mattered a great deal to the outcome and which, once revealed, made the case for barring our son much weaker. I would recommend Richard Nelson LLP, and specifically Jonathan Wright, highly to anyone facing a similar DBS problem to ours.”
