Riverside have been very poor at communicating and only delivered half of the order and haven't responded to any of our calls or emails as to where our goods are when they will be delivered. Luckily we paid via 'Amazon Pay' and have put a claim in for a refund.

Product has a fault, reported on day of receipt when unpacking, the staff still have not resolved the fairly simple issue after 10 days and despite photographs sent and several calls always initiated by me. I said if it was not resolved soon they could collect it as it is not fit for purpose, I was told that I would have to pay the cost of return. I have made allowances for the lockdown but why can’t you solve it? I will be telephoning tomorrow 4th May and insisting you take it back at your cost.

Always would have been a 5 star review, unfortunately with my last order an item was missing, an email was sent straight away and 10 days later still no reply. Will not be using their services again.

Very very poor service. Placed an order two weeks ago and no delivery, no tracking and all I get is "someone will call you back" Will have to try and get my £60 back via the bank now as this seems to be a lost cause.

Notwithstanding a call prior to placing the order and a follow-up call after the order was placed the order did not arrive on time. I relied on the reassurances provided by the staff member that the order would be on time (which was also stated in writing) Very unprofessional. This should be highlighted to the management team.

Thank you for your review. As per all communication that was sent to you since placing the order we are not guaranteeing any delivery information especially those you have not paid extra for. We think to receive your order 1 day late at this moment is exceptional and you've actually done rather well. I'm sure you can understand the situation at this present time including 2 bank holidays last weekend and the global pandemic. I would love to write a review of my orders except they never arrived - this is the second time I have ordered items from Riverside that showed in stock they took the money out of my account - I was given a delivery day then nothing happened. I had to chase the sales people up only to be told they were out of stock. I did get a refund but what a waste of time. I will NOT be ordering from you again.

Really poor quality coal. I’ve purchased many things from riverside, including good quality coal but this was absolutely sub par and unusable. It can’t be used so I had to throw it away.

The product was displayed on the website as in stock when actually it wasn't. I paid for the bbq and was expecting next day delivery, and have now been informed (a day later) that in fact even though the money came out of my account. The lady on the phone who informed me was not apologetic at all.

Ordered a BBQ that was meant to be delivered on a Saturday but was called into work which meant I had to ask for it to be delivered to a local shop on a Sunday. When I went to collect only half the order was available, phoned riverside and was told that it would be delivered the next day as the order had been split up, took the day off work and when nothing arrived by 13:00 I rang back and was told that nothing would be delivered until the day after AGAIN. Was frequently asked if I could leave it with a neighbour, can't do that because it's a BBQ and pretty big, also repeatedly asked if there was anywhere I could leave a 57cm webber BBQ until I came in from work. Asked to get a refund and told that it would be about a week until I could get the money back, so had to take yet another day off work, which meant I would have to work weekend to make the two days back that were wasted because someone there told me it would be delivered the day after requested. Completely unhelpful and incredibly frustrated with the service. Item hasn't arrived yet 5 days after order, fingers crossed it turns up tomorrow.
