After ordering and paying for my product with delivery stating 1-3 working days after a week I chased it up and it was out of stock!! I reordered a similar product and asked for it to be fast tracked, it wasn't, and then after delivery was confirmed it didn’t arrive on that day but two days later

Although the products are great and at a good price, the service provided since the recent change of ownership has gone downhill. The dispatch of my order had to be chased by email as the phones weren't answered and the delivery took a lot longer than expected. This is nothing like the service a received in the past.

Very dissapointed in the delivery. Paid for next day delivery, purchased on a Friday by midday. But no mention of the courier not working weekends. Then delivery wasn't made until the Tuesday, so much for next day. Then was finally refund the £4.95 delivery, but as a good will gesture. Excuse me, the error certainly wasn't on my part. So no, nothing really positive I'm afraid.

Had to return an item as it didn’t fit my Weber bbq, asked if I could exchange for correct ones, email said I need to return item, then get a refund and then buy the correct item.

Ordered bbq and cover 21.05.24, no tracking facility, queried, advised not working atm. Item showed shipped up to 04.06.24, email received goods delivered. Queried as not received. Long story short, no idea where items were problem with courier, was offered opportunity to choose an alternative product or refund. Chose refund. Money paid back 06.06.24. Matter closed. Telephone number to contact on website incorrect regarding delivery of orders/customer services, needs updating. Staff were helpful but due to no tracking facility relied on information received from the courier and weren't unable to verify as correct.

Ordered a Weber BBQ from Riverside on 1st May. Dipatched on 3d May. Received on 14th May. Communication with both Riverside and Courier (DX) was appalling. Emails, if responded to took at least 2 days. Phone line, giving a six option menu, brought you to same person who would only answer questions she wanted to anwer thus if you selected "2" for BBQ's she would only answer questions regarding sales. Selecting "6" for any other queries, the same person would not answer qustions relating to courier!! DX Express (the couriers) only answered emails with unhelpful information like "contact your goods supplier". Overall, thoroughly unimpressed

Product fine. Terrible communication. Even called to chase up delivery info after not receiving any. Promised a call back but nothing. Delivered on a day no one was in as unable to plan anyone to be there.

The delivery after order was very fast, so that was great. However, the restaurant grade charcoal was described as large chunks, in fairness probably by manufacturers, but it was far from that. Mainly small pieces and dust so not suitable for Kamado cooking. The reaction by Riverside was disappointing and not really interested despite some emails which amounted to “hard luck”.

I have had a look and cannot find an email from your informing us that your delivery had not arrived. Unfortunately, we don't know to look into delays if we have not been informed of them. Messed up the delivery and sent my item to the opposite end of the country and then tried to make me wait for my item to be sent back to them.

Hi Markus, Thank you for your review. We only asked if you were able to wait as we didn't have any 8kg briquettes left that you had originally ordered. As the recipient of those failed to send them back to us we have sent you the equivalent weight in 4kg. Sorry if you feel we didn't rectify this in the best way. Sara

I was not satisfied with the order i received, half of the wood was missing in the order and I had to send several images of the weight of all the bags to be taken seriously. Finally, they agreed to refund half of my money as they didn't have any more wood. A week later, I'm still waiting for the refund to come through.

I ordered three items on 1st May - all appeared to be in stock and there was no indication otherwise. Once order was placed, I was advised delivery would be 2-4 weeks. I called on 6th June to be advised that cushion I had ordered wasn’t in stock and they were waiting delivery. The advisor I spoke to was surprised I hadn’t been contacted to advise me of this, and offered to send the other 2 items immediately. As I was going on holiday, I decided to wait until cushion was in stock as I didn’t want the items arriving while I was away. All 3 items arrived on Friday 24th June in two separate packages - one with the cushion and the other package had the remaining two items. I cannot understand why these two items were not dispatched when first ordered. Communication was poor, and they only way I was aware that an item I had ordered was not in stock was when I made a telephone call, over a month after I had ordered the items. When ordering, it should be clearer if an item you are advertising is not in stock.

I order 4 to 6 bags of briquettes a year from Riverside. This time, when they arrived, 2 bags were ripped open and the briquettes were spread out in the box. There was a lot of mess to clean up. In the past the packaging was much more careful and considerate with extra measures taken to include fillers between the bags so they wouldn't get crushed in transit.
