I bought online a product (shower $3,140 +tx), the product received has a totally different appearance (much lower appearance, not matching colors, q-wall different than represented on Rona web). As recommended, I paid an expert to put it together directly from the box delivered. I called Rona customer services, first one offer me $100/$3,140. The second up completely denied from beginning of conversation that the product were different (sold vs delivered), than offer me $200 after playing almost 50 minutes game of denying and asking me of what I needed.

Spam advertisements that are misleading by design, full screen, and difficult to exit earn you a 1 star review. Companies that abuse their marking campaigns should be called out. I will be avoiding business you going forward.

Ordered an arrow carport. Poor packaging and poor quality. Contacted rona online. Very poor customer service. Offered me a return but after hours of work installing the product, a return was not an option. Offered me a $100 discount for the poor quality and damage due to poor packaging. Then the customer representative didn't send the credit until weeks later after I asked again. Never buying from rona online again and certainly not from arrow products. Shame on both those companies.

Just finished putting the black MMT5X7G utility trailer together. This is by far the best utility trailer i have ever owned. The sturdiness, quality and functionality is second to none.Absolutely thrilled with it,and it only took an hour to put together. Very Happily, Alan Gradisek.

Absolutely terrible customer service trying to return something. It wasn't purchased at that particular Ron's and I was told in no uncertain terms they didn't sell that product at the store so it would have to be returned at the Rona purchased miles away. Manager who looked like he just rolled out of bed said "no, can't return here". Why does every other chain store let you return to something to their store? Pathetic. I said that I didn't have time to return to other location (for a number of reasons) but they didn't care. Will never shop at this sub par store again. Pathetic way to treat customers.

Rona has the worst customer service ever. We ordered $3500 patio furniture. Only part of the order was delivered. We've been on the phone and emails everyday for 6 weeks. Rona will not deliver the remaining part of order and will not refund. Dont ever deal with Rona, worst customer service ever.

Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Ignorance is their first priority. One star is being very generous.

It has been 14 days since I requested a quote to replace my patio door, I got snookered into paying $ 90 for the contractor to measure the door which took 5 minutes, that was 8 days ago. This is some bad customer service, guess I wont be asking them for a material quote for the 14 x 24 workshop I am building or any other quote in the future.

Don’t order anything online from Rona! Ordered a Gazebo on May 11, the item has been sitting for almost a week has not been shipped. Called customer service, said they can’t reach anyone to help me. Tried to get a refund, they said not possible!

Placed online order on April 9 for basketball net never received an email confirmation until April 13 after 3 calls to service centre. Shipping tag created on April 15, still sitting in warehouse waiting for delivery to pick it up. All I get is excuses for the delays. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

I bought my flooring at Rona Winston Churchill and Eglington. Beebe helped me. She was very knowledgeable. Very professional. Did all the calculations, and brought the flooring to the front of the store. She spent a lot of time with me. The floor is down, and looks beautiful. Thank you Beebe. So happy to have met you. Anita

Worse refrigerator sale and delivery ever experienced in Montreal in 20 years!!! They delivered it 5 times and 5 times failed, either the refrigerator was damaged or it didn’t work. My wife had to travelled 5 times for two hours in public transportation for nothing. No apology from Rona to tenant and us. Shame on Rona Roland Therrien boulevard store in Longueuil.

Upon visiting the Vernon Rona store , I was looking for help and ended up in the contractor area , the fellow you have working there ( Greg )I asked another staff member for his name , has to be one on the most arrogant, rude person I have ever dealt with in this industry, not only was he rude to whomever he was on the phone with but when I tried to speak to him , was rude with other staff members as well , apparently my question wasn’t important enough for him to give me the time of day , as a company you should be ashamed to employ such a person , may not be back after that experience.

The store manager should not be managing a home improvement store this is the south Surrey store . I have been dealing hear for many many years and have seen a massive change in store. The changes have not been to improve the store which you think it would it's to see how many of the customers they can drive away from this store. Their is only two people that know what Thier doing and both have been their many years and are a pleasure to deal with. The new manager is a waste of time she doesn't even no the simple questions you ask her and all the new staff is even when worse no training what so ever . I am a contractor and don't have time to deal with a store that can't answer questions or no nothing about the products they sell. Home depot is going to crush this store at least you can get help and someone can answer questions.Rona get rid of the manager and hire someone that wants to improve your store and customer relations instead of just walking around waiting to go home . Good buy rona

I hired the Rona electrical contractor in Sept 2021 to install a new, upgraded electrical panel. Mike, Director of Services for Rona of Western Canada had to cut me a compensation cheque for several hundred dollars because the electrical contractor installed used circuit breakers to help line his wallet. After three months of waiting I discovered that Rona either lost my heat pump order or never placed it in the first place. Rona awarded the HVAC contract to a new contractor. A month or two later Rona claimed to have my heat pump in stock. Every piece of equipment delivered to my home was wrong. The installer planned to install the outdoor unit in a location not permitted by the City of Burnaby. I obtained a copy of the regulation to prove this. Not my job, but necessary to make sure. A wasted day without pay for me. Laurel, the Field Services Manager for BC convinced me to let them install the correct furnace and thermostat the next day and said the heat pump and indoor heating/cooling coil was a month away. The installer that they later told me was an alcoholic cored a hole into an upstairs bedroom instead of the crawlspace and compromised a floor joist with a 4 1/2 inch hole plus an extra hole not needed. The HVAC contractor hired a carpenter to reinforce my floor and paid to re-carpet one bedroom. The installation otherwise was a butcher job and the HVAC tech that finished the job replaced the exhaust for the furnace because it was unsafe and not code compliant. I re-insulated the line set myself and repaired various other quality problems including the hole in my house and the air leak at the plenum above the furnace. The heat pump never came as promised and Rona passed the buck blaming Carrier which at the end of the day was nothing compared to the problems created by Rona. Carrier Canada came through for me after 12 months. The day before the installation of the outdoor unit or heat pump, it was decided that the heat pump was sized wrong right from the start (365 days after contract signing) using the square footage from the BC Assessment website which is not known to be accurate since they have never been in my house. It was yet another fight on my hands to prove that the new calculation was the wrong one. Mike argued that he wouldn't install the correct pump unless I signed a contract accepting all responsibility for sizing the pump, or he would cancel the contract because he said nothing would make me happy. I pointed out to him that my old furnace was already at the junkyard. Great solutions Mike. All Mike had to do was look at the numbers provided by Amerispec Canada who Rona had me use to do the pre-upgrade inspection or have the contractor re-measure my house. Lazy Mike did nothing. I measured the house myself and called the HVAC tech at home. Lucky I had his number. He agreed that the original pump was correct, after all. The many mistakes and delays forced me to take several extra days off of work at considerable expense ($2000) to me. The pump was finally installed after 365 days and many fights and problems. I have only included the highlights here. There is much more. When I called Mike to verify that all promised perks of a year ago would be honoured he told me they would advocate for me but essentially I was on my own trying to collect the $1350 Carrier Cool Cash from Carrier that Rona dangles as a kind of carrot to entice customers to sign their contracts. Mike did nothing. I cancelled my credit card so that they could not process the $21000 payment without contacting me first. Nearly 500 days after contract signing, Laurel told me a fib saying that she and a woman named Valerie had been trying to contact me with no success. There were no missed calls or voicemails at my end and my number and email address had not changed. They aren't even good at collecting money. I called Valerie and told her that I would pay immediately (which I did) after receiving written confirmation that all offers would be honoured. I had to provide proof of the existence of these offers because Rona doesn't know what they offered me in the first place.. Luckily I kept all correspondence and Valerie who is wonderful came through in spite of Laurel and Mike. Those two were no help, that's for sure. They just pass the buck, make excuses and put up a fight against the customer every time and blame others. There is no oversight by them. They seem to just hope the installation division will run on its own. Never even an apology except from Valerie, Brian at Carrier Canada and the drunk HVAC tech. Laurel and Mike, the higher ups at Rona unfortunately are able to hide out in the background of a large company doing a poor job and would certainly fail in business if they had their own companies. I have never asked for anything except for Rona to honour what was offered and do a quality job.

Hi, My name is Joyce H. and I shop at the Rona in Surrey on Fraser Highway. Had the best experience I could have asked for. Maurice was the employee who when beyond what was required of him. He found me a roller cart to start with, he said they sometime store they between the main aisle of items, or as I was told by the lady at the front to go to the back of the store. I had to get some shelving items and Maurice took me right to where they were, most appreciated. There was one shelving unit on the floor and I needed four shelving units, which were up high. Maurice quickly found the man that was on the fork lift and the gentlemen was there in five minutes, which was excellent. These shelving units are not light weight, so it was really nice Maurice offer to put them in my vehicle. Maurice went beyond what was required of an employee and that shows just what type of person he is. Truly a beautiful and concerned employee who cares for the customers.

I would give less than 1 star if I could. You can't call these people if you have a disorder. They don't support special needs clients. The 1-800 number is equally unhelpful.

I would have rated a zero if I could. Placed an order online but needed to cancel it. Called on the same day to cancel and was guaranteed to have been canceled and refunded but ofcourse it got shipped and now Brenda the worst manager ever was insisting that I needed to drop it off to a store. Customer service is non existent. Do not order from them! Never again!
