“Too thick too hot. I bought a family set of sweatpants and hoodies. One infant and one toddler and 2 adults. We live in a very cold climate with months of averge temp -30°C and we keep the house heated moderately at 19-20°C and there isn't ever a time when we can wear these the majority of the day. A couple hours before everyone is too hot and having to remove. The head holes for both kids are tight and it's an ordeal to remove and put on the sweatshirts often resulting in tears. At $600 on sale for all. Very disappointing.”
“I tried to order a tracksuit online today roots.ca took twice the money from my credit card…didn’t confirm either transactions. When I called the customer service line they told me it would take 2 to 10 business days for me to receive my money. So not only did the online service not serve me well not only am I out almost $400 but I won’t be getting my money for up to two weeks.
When I ask if a future discount or customer relations, credit of some sort would be given to me they said no. They don’t care about the interest my credit card will obtain. . They don’t care that there’s nothing left on my credit card for me to use if need be. They simply don’t care about their air or me.”

“For UK citizens, the tax is 20% (VAT) and Roots deduct just under 25% once the purchase is done. I contacted them several times to alert them that this was illegal and touch on scamming. They said that they go by 'estimate" and that they'll refund the difference once they items are shipped. This was since 8 months ago and nothing as such has been done. They think they can get away with this? Scamming and lying?”
