Sorry to say a disastrous experience. I ordered , courier attempted to deliver 3 days late and then aborted the delivery. Without any discussion, one week after order placement Rosedale unilaterally cancel order and issue refund because “courier is unable to deliver to my address”. No apology with this advice ,just an explanation that XPD have no suitable vehicles . Five days later ,while I am out furniture is actually delivered. Clearly not so impossible after all. I now have to coordinate with inept courier for return of goods. Fortunately I find alternate source for same furniture £40 cheaper and delivered in two days with no need for tractors or 4x4 vehicles. A very poor reflection on Rosedale and XPD and extremely negative attitude to customer service from all, but at least it helped me to find a reliable supplier.

Unfortunately, we tried to get this delivered but were told that they could not fulfil this for us due to location and an appropriate vehicle. We will address this with them as this is unacceptable. The furniture and sales procedure were very good. Excellent furniture, however the delivery process was very poor. The driver could not be tracked and was way beyond the delivery slot promised. I telephoned Roseland who located the driver and my furniture eventually arrived. The instructions were for a 2 man delivery but only one driver arrived. He put the box in my lounge and then left me to unpack it so I could not check for damage begore he left and had to dispose of all the packaging material. I am 73 years old and do not drive. Very dissapointing delivery process.

Genuinely happy with the units bought, which were despatched promptly and packaged well for transport. Would buy from Roseland again.

You have taken my money but not delivered the goods! I placed the order a fortnight ago. It took a few enquiries to find out why they had not been delivered or even when I could expect delivery. I am still waiting for their delivery.

Hello Thank you for your feedback, having looked at your order we can see that the courier has returned the original items. Unfortunately, we do not know the reason for this. We have since arranged to send out new ones which left us yesterday. Kind regards Roseland

I ended up cancelling my order as at no time during the online purchase did I get notification that the ‘already assembled chest of bedroom draws’ would be delivered by courier in a one hour time slot, which I would be told of one hour before hand (eg a whole day off work rather than either am or pm) and that the courier would leave the chest of draws at the main door and no further!!!! How as a 65 year old woman who lives alone was I supposed to get a chest of draws upstairs to the bedroom???? Had this been made clear at purchase, I would NEVER have gone ahead with it. Also the delivery date ended up being just a text message a week later than expected. I shall NOT use Roseland Furniture again. All I can say is thank goodness I rang them to enquirer re delivery when I got the text.

Dear Nicola Tourkis, Thank you for your feedback. This item is a one-man delivery to the door, this is stated on our webpage, we are sorry if this was missed at the point of order. We do have alternatives if a customer requires items to be brought into the home. As there was no indication of your needs on the order, we would not have known that you needed further assistance. You get what you pay for. Compared with other suppliers Roseland prices are low, but the quality seems to suffer as a result. For example, with the Surrey oak drawers, the side panels, drawer bottoms, back panels etc are very thin compared to more expensive alternatives. We are keeping the chest of drawers but will only store fairly light items in them.

Ordered blanket box - delivery was great however product was not. There were chips on paintwork and it had grubby marks on it. The paintwork was poor only looked like 1 coat was applied and at £170 was not worth the money. When I attempted to return it eta was between 2-4 - no one turned up - waited until 7pm still no one showed with no explanation. They arrived on the Monday (when I was at work). I had received no communication to advise me of this. They advised by text they were collecting today, but by the time I had got the text I was at work. So havd had to take time off work to wait in again. Would not order from this company again as the courier service is shocking. There is no way to rearrange collections or to get in touch with them. They didn’t turn up again so am now back at home waiting again!

Furniture is fine, but getting it delivered was atrocious. Website said 2 to 3 days , turns out 4 to 6 weeks. Had to keep ringing to find out what was happening Gave a time it couldn't be delivered as we were away. Guess when they tried to deliver! XDP were even worse, you cannot contact them at all. They then turned up without letting me know, I just happened to be at home. Neat day chap tried to deliver again but he couldn't find item on his van. He was panicking as he didn't have it. Told that's because it arrived unannounced day before. Will not be buying from Roseland again as cannot trust you will get item.

The item at the time of order placement had a long lead time, the items arrived to be distributed earlier than expected. We apologise if this was missed at the point of order. Very poor service - order 2 items of furniture which was advertised as 1-3 days delivery - was duly notified by courier after a couple of days that they had received th consignment ... and then nothing. Emailed Roseland who apparently could do little to help except email the courier company on my behalf-they would not/could not phone them. Eventually after 5 days with nothing they finally agreed to a full refund - pleased to get refund but not impressed with service overall.

Hello, We are sorry that you were let down by the carrier, unfortunately, they had misrouted the item o the wrong delivery depot. This caused a temporary delay. The delivery is as stated in 1-3 working days, the items would have been delivered within the time stated if this error had not occurred. Ordered two items online for delivery by courier, one was perfect the other was unfortunately damaged. This is when your heart sinks and you wonder why you ordered furniture online! However, I couldn't fault their customer service. Absolutely brilliant! After emailing pictures of the problem, they quickly arranged collection and a replacement to be delivered. I think the level of customer service determines how good a company is and that's why I have given them a 5* rating. I would definitely use them again.
